Yeahh, but ebay works. And some second hand stores. Not many of them though, second hand bookstores - in my area. I only know of one, and all the books are mainly about religion.

I just think it's sad when bookstores close.

I'm confused about what we are allowed to do with images. I know we're allowed to use stock images but are we allowed to use other images with the persons permission? Or are we not allowed to at all?! My friend confused me stressed

Stock images are fine. You can use them, as long they're from public domain websites.
As for other images, you would have to ask the studio itself or from the model her/himself. Like for example, you want a picture of Megan Fox from Transformers, you have to ask permission from Paramount Pictures ( though everyone knows it's close to impossible to get permission from them ).
If so happen, you found a picture of a model/object from deviantart which ARE NOT LABELLED as stock images, you have to ask the original photographer the permission unless stated otherwise.

If it's an image from the anime itself, then you'll need permission from the original artist/anime studio that directed the anime.
If it's fanart, you'll have to ask permission from the original artist. c:
