Kamoko was a human until he was eight, when he woke up on his birthday to find black feathers all over his bed and a new pair of dark extensions on his back. Hard as he had tried, he couldn't hide the wings or take them off (//insert excru-pain here//), so his parents found out within the day. His parents, big believers in Christ, thought he was an antichrist and tried to kill him, each taking one of Kamoku's wrists and slashed each one five times in the bathroom over the bathtub. Kamoko's parents left then, leaving the house permanently and leaving him there to die.

Kamoko didn't die; when his parents left the house, he got up and wrapped his wrists up.He lived in the house for another week, then left the house as night, flying out into the sky.
