Brushes: That sounds lovely, actually.
Colors: For the header, it's up to you. Over the whole layout, maybe alternate from one to the next and maybe just a palette of neutrals for the ones inbetween or something? Again, up to you. The fancier the better, in my opinion.

i'm gonna keep the neutrals for the main banner since it matches & for the sub banners i could alternate the different color palettes for the different teams right? ;D
unless you have a preference for which sub banner should be which team i'll do it on my own~
