I saw that comic on Facebook yesterday. blaugh Atwood FTW.

But aren't gay rights just creating a negative connotation for themselves now? I mean, a person comes out of the closet, and he or she is automatically associated with Dykes on Bikes (not that they're not awesome) or half naked fairy men. I can appreciate bringing "alternative" ways of living into the mainstream, but because the movement is still relatively new, everyone who identifies with that culture is stamped right away with the queer culture label. /sad face

But, in respect of my friend's shop, I'm afraid we might be getting a little intellectually heavy. I'd hate to think we're scaring away business with our quotes and mini essays we're writing to one another. sweatdrop Not that it's not enjoyable. redface
