Well, acting and singing is pretty much, my life.
Like, seriously. You know what my extracurriculars are?
Drama Club.
Well, and Key Club, but that was by force. And French Honor Society, but that doesn't start until next year 3nodding

Anyway.
If you could be in any production (Broadway/Hollywood/etc,) What would you want?

Me...well...There's a bit of a list..

-Elphaba in Wicked (but seriously, who doesn't want that part?!)
-Elle Woods or Vivian in Legally Blonde (Elle's vocal range is a bit too high, though. :whee)
-Maureen in Rent. (Actually, I'd LOVE to play Mark. But ya know..)
-.....Rafiki in the Lion King (but..I'm white.)
-Jo in Little Women
-Jesus in Godspell. Or John the Baptist. teehee.
-Lola in Damn Yankees
-...There are many more, believe me. =]

WHAT ABOUT YOU!?

biggrin

I see youz.

Thanks Tiff. (LICKMEHPLZ)
I like comments.

Glinda(Glenda)- Wicked
Christine- Phantom of the Opera (range is ALOT higher but still)
Anne Frank- Diary of Anne Frank
Eponine- Les Mis

shows i'd like to be in but i don't know which character:

Bye Bye Birdie

er...........................idk sweatdrop haha

-total_theatre_freak-
Kate from Avenue Q, Lucy from Jekyll & Hyde, Cosette from Les Miserables, Juliet from Romeo and Juliet (obv...) and more....

millie from thoroughly modern millie...no hesitation.

Glinda (Galinda) from Wicked
Lucy from Jekyll & Hyde (I did a few of her songs for a musical theatre class)
and
The Witch from Into The Woods

there are so many more roles I'd love to play, but I think that these are my top 3

Don't waste life in doubts and fears; spend yourself on the work before you, well assured that the right performance of this hour's duties will be the best preparation for the hours and ages that will follow it.

When I'm lost, Can't find my way, You're the light that leads to harbor

I want to play Nessarose, or at least that's what my voice range would allow me to play.

But, my most favorite roll I would love to play is Rosina, from Il Barbiere Di Siviglia (Barber of Seville). It's my favorite opera. heart

If I got voice lessons, I'd also like to try Cio Cio San from Madame Butterfly.

All I know, all there is a reflection of you, a home to this body of conflict

ninja headband's still in my inventory, just taking a break. :3
I would kill (probably literally) to play Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd. I saw Patty Lupone play the role a few years ago and I've been DYING to get a chance at it ever since. She's so amazing.

Oh, and P.S. The movie sucks so bad. If you've seen it you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't seen it don't waste your time.

I would absolutely adore being
Sally Bowls in Cabaret
Glinda (Galinda) In Wicked.
Anyone in Urinetown.
Velma Kelly in Chicago.

My list is short so far. I have to find roles at really really speak to me. I'm picky =]

Cavale from Shepard's Cowboy Mouth would be AMAZING. Chesh would get to swear and act completely insane. "Raymoooond? Raymond, baby?" lol

There is one dilemna Chesh faces: she loves characters like the Elphaba's and Catherina's of this world {in other words sarcastic and strong female roles}, but she has the look of a Glinda or Bianca, and is thus cast as such *siiiiigh*

you may say i’m a
dreamer
but i’m not the only one.

My only dream role is Carrie from Carousel. I love the song Mr Snow so much : ) I sang it so many damn times in Performing Arts High.

Hahaha, wish I had seen this before~

I saw the revival too! biggrin They were all brilliant, I loved it.

And yeah...the movie blows. Though I gotta admit, this is on of only two Antonys whose voice I actually liked. Airbrushed, yes, but I liked his voice. I've never liked ANY Antonys, except the one from the movie and the one from the production I was in. Also, kudos to them for getting an actual kid for Toby razz

Lucy from Jekle and Hyde
Millie from Throughly Modern Millie
Aldonza from Man of La Mancha
Tybalt from Romeo and Juliet
Viola from Twelfth Night
Protia from Mercant of Venice
Helena from Midsumer Nights Dream
Rose from Dancing at Lughnesa
Betty from The Foreigner

And many more but I think that's enough fo now...lol

If I had to pick just one it would be Kate Monster/Lucy the Slut from Avenue Q.

Then of course there is Elphaba (Wicked), Mrs. Lovett (Sweeny Todd), John the Baptist/Judas (Godspell), The Witch (Into the Woods), Jo (Little Women), and Winnefred (Once Upon a Mattress).

And a lot more...

Dream List:

Revival-Style Pirelli (Sweeney Todd)

Peter Pan (Peter Pan)
Jennyanydots (CATS)
Griddlebone (CATS) (I wouldn't mind one of those rare castings where Jenny covers Griddlebone's part though... whee )
Dinah (Starlight Express)

If I were Male:
Erik/ The Phantom (POTO)
Toby (Sweeney Todd)
Alfred (Tanz der Vampire)
Herbert von Krolock (Tanz der Vampire) ( I luff Herbie. heart )
CB/Caboose (Starlight Express)
Electra (Starlight Express) (Well... there was that one female understudy... Hm....)
Purse (Starlight Express)
Orin Scrivello (Little Shop of Horrors)

I'd also GLADLY puppet Audrey II, sence there's no way in hell I'd be able to actually sing his part... (I CAN sing some tenor parts though.)

well Elphaba of course, Mimi from rent, kate from avenue q, eponine from Les Mis, Christine from Phantom hmm that's all i can think of at the moment
