Welcome to Gaia! ::

I tried out for Steel Magnolias and didn't make it... BUT!! I got Cecily in the far superior Odd Couple!! Sooo much fun...
the break the leg thing is really bad luck u might not break an actual leg but u might break stage equipment or a arm or anything
no, saying good luck or macbeth is bad luck........ actually, just for kicks, in my theater department, we always tell everyone "Good luck, Macbeth" before a show...
I am Vittore! In pinocio! Its a realyyyyyyy small part but oh well.... dramallama
Deary me, I think I may faint with excitment! I got a part a Eponine in Les Mis! That's brilliant! Les Mis is one of my favorite musicals and Eponine is such a beautiful part to play.
I just recently got the part of "Father Drobney" in Don't Drink the Water. It is quite neat, I've been reading his lines and they all appear to be hilarious.
I almost had the chance of starring in the movie, Charlotte's Web.

At auditions for our last musical (South Pacific) this girl was really excited because she came up with a dance routine she thought was really good. So she pulls the schools brand new stereo out onto the stage on a wheel-y table, turns it on, then proceeds with her dance. About 30 seconds into it she starts moving backwards and slams right into the stereo, knocking it flat onto the floor; consequently breaking it into tons and tons of teeny little pieces. The poor girl was so upset that she ran out of the room crying sad

I felt terrible for her sad

Anywho, on topic, I auditioned for South Pacific, but I discovered that I didn't really mesh with the director and the musical director and they didn't get along well with each other either.

I got a part as one of the nurses and I think they had lines (The name started with an 'M' I think...), but then I decided because of my disagreements with the directors to not do it. I will be auditioning in February for Annie Get your Gun, with a director everyone loves - Wish me luck!
I got the part of Bonnie in Anything Goes! I'm really excited since its my first speaking role - it just means I have to learn how to dance better...eek! Luckily our choreographer is patient, and I'm eager to learn!
Woot! I'm Amos Hart in a version of Chicago that's being sent to the Edinburgh Fringe festival! Also i'm Rolf Elsburg in a compitition one act called Everyday Seemed Like a Year. Next up are the auditions for Midsummer Nights Dream, and then my own NYU Monolague Auditions

The girl who was the Sour Kangaroo in my school's production of Seussical last year broke a rainbow(set piece).

Anyway, congrats to everyone who got a good part! This year mty school is doing a mixture of songs and scenes as our production. We're singing "Skid Row" from Little Shop of Horrors, and I really want to get the Audrey part! The director is picking who's who for that song soon, and I'm nervous and excited! We're also singing "We Go Together" from none other tnhan Grease. I want to kill myself and we just started learning it. What the hell does "Ramalamalama ka ding a da ding a dong" mean?
