Outfits for modern dance

hello everyone! so I'm a dancer that's trying to get her final choreography project ready for a dance class that I'm taking and I was wondering what you guys thought looked the best when performing modern dance: solid color shirt and leggings, flow y dress, sweat pants, actual dress, or something else? I don't have the piece together yet but it sounds like violin and hip hop mixed together. let me know any thoughts! thanks!
