Nude scenes - would you strip?

yes, i have and yes i will do it again, if...again, the play or movie REALLY requires it, although it wasn't a full nudity scene, some parts of me showed redface blaugh hahaha it was a good experience, i felt liberated hahaa biggrin

Somewhere I heard that this director wanted a naked scene. So he got the actor who he wanted naked, put him on the stage and made him act the scene out clothed while the rest of the cast and crew including the director himself sat and watched while they were naked.

I dunno if that would help me. And I dont know if I would ever do it.

it all depends. is it essential to teh play. i would if i really really had to but i still wont feel comfortable.

It depends. There'd have to be a good reason, I wouldn't just strip for the sake of it. Plus, it would depend what I was doing in the scene. And, who the audience was.

I think I might do it if the person in the scene was someone I was comfortable with and if there were no video cameras in the audience. And if my clothes and extra things were right off stage, I might. but it all depends if I fell comfortable w/ my body at that point in time.

Even in high school. Trust me you got to know everyone fast at my school becuase we used to have one dressing room. Everyone's respectful though and there are only a few creepy guys...
It wasn't uncommon to hear though "Oh that's such a cute bra!"

Now we have a brand new gimungous theater with separate dressing rooms for the first time and I'm kind of sad the new freshmen won't get to go through that initiation.

Next week I'm auditioning for a student directed show at college called "The Intimacy Project" and it's going to contain a lot of nudity. I'm okay with stripping down, but to an extent. Mainly because I'm just a freshman and I've never been naked on stage before. So right now I'm only comfortable with showing my boobs. My thoughts are that if you've seen one pair of boobs you've seen them all and I don't have anything special.

If it's in the script, yes, because, like you, I always like to honour the original work of the playrite.
