It would really depend on the circumstance of the scene, you know, "Why am I stripping?" And of course how long the scene was. I don't want to stand up there butt-naked for half an hour.

right now i wouldn't and im not sure i would ever be comfortable enough to do that. but i respect the fact that you could and maybe would again.

yeah i have and i would again. thats the beauty of acting. you are a seperate person, you are the charecter, on stage, but of stage you are you so you dont have to be embaressed. and if you dont think the charecter would be embaressed then you dont have to be. i love acting

me, no. in camelot, my choir techer was qwenaver(however you spell it) and she wore a nudie, but you couldn't tell from the audience and my whole class thought she was naked! eek man, did we give her a hard time the next day!

I'm not sure, but I am willing to sacrifice for my art, so I would probably do it if we started practicing it from the very begining, just to get a little more comfortable with it.

For me, it would depend on the context. Tasteful nudity is one thing (like in Shakespeare in Love) but the kind of "let's get the lead nekkid because we can" type of thing is not for me. It would also depend on whether I was comfortable with the rest of the cast. I have no problem stripping down, but people around me would need to be supportive (and promise to not steal my clothes).

Wouldn't really bother me. I've been nearly nude of stage before, have done nude modelling for the Visual Arts program... It's not something that's very disgusting in my eyes. It's art. However, I'd refuse if there was no reason for this given to me based on the design of the play or the script. |
