I don't think you needed a bump so soon. Anyways, is colorguard the dance team that dances along with the marching band? That's what I always thought it was, but please correct me if I'm wrong. I don't do it now, but in the spring of next year I'm thinking about trying out after I get some more dance experience. |

I'm actually the color guard captain at our school. It's a bit unusual because I'm a junior, but I love it.
I was a dancer for 13 years and actually quit for color guard because I love it that much more. I'm actually starting rifle and stuff this year, but I've done flag for four seasons including one in an indoor guard last winter. heart |

 Theres a whole in the world like a great black pit that is filled with people who are filled with s**t and the vermin of the world inhabit it... i would looove to be in guard. i tried out but i didn't make it. i'm mad about it too because some idiot decided to sabotage every chance i had in making it just because i wasn't a preppy b***** like her. ...But not for long.... |

Hi, I just joined guard this year (I'm a freshman) and I loooove it. I acctually was in dance for seven or eight years before joining guard, then I had to quit because my schedual for guard was messing with my schedual for dance. This year I was lucky enough to work on all equipment, and acctually write some of our dance work for our winter season. |

Our guard is tiny, so we almost have to do Color and Winterguard. Everyone makes it though, unless we think they can't keep their grades up. We could've kicked butt at champs because we were the 2nd place score in RA before it. :[ Ah well. Do any of you guys use the new Airblade? It's like a rifle, but with holes. We're using them in field season & in the winter. I'm excited! Airblade Video. |

I was in colorguard but my band director kicked me out because I chose yearbook over guard. As much as I love it, I can get a scholarship with yearbook, not guard, so I had to quit. I was co-captain, and would be captain my senior year cause I had been there the longest and knew the most but that's all over.. sad

I was captain for 2 years when I was in high school. It was great! Unfortunately, the guard at my college was crappy so since then I've replaced guard with swing dancing. biggrin

I went to University of North Texas. The best college guard in Texas that I know of is at Southwest/Texas State. I think they're called Millenia.
