Any Aerialists?

Are there any aerialists here?
I'm an aerialist myself, I like to perform on silks! yay me! I also do cloud swing, lyra (hoop), and trapeze. Actually I performed at an elementary school today, the kids gave us stuch a loud applause, I felt so cool XD I even tangled my foot in the silk and they still applauded! They applauded at the most basic moves, but they sometimes didn't clap for our most difficult drops, children are funny that way, I guess...

Yes! I'm an aerialist too! We're very rare on gaia, apparently, hahaha. I'm not as advanced as it sounds like you are. I've never learned cloud swing or trapeze, but my specialty is silks and I have some training on lyra and in partnering acro. I'm an intern/performer with a local sideshow and I help out at the studio where my mentor teaches aerial fitness.
P.S. I know! In my experience, people go crazy for a simple ankle drop and do not realize how much work goes into the more complex drops. Se la vie, I suppose. smile
