What the f**k is up with the last post? I can't even understand it through all of the different sized text and formatting. It's like purple formatting! The formatting actually detracts from the content. I hadn't thought that possible until now.
It vaguely seems to be profile-type blather, which isn't necessary anyways. You should reveal only pertinent character-related things, and in the narrative, at that. And I can't even tell what the actual story is -- the first post? Or is that some prologue thing? It just seems to be melodramatic sentiments, in any case. Flipping through this in a bookstore, I'd put it down. |

I don't think this is the story, Erika. It's a load of useless blithering that is supposed to entice us to read the actual story, which is hidden in a link.
I'm fairly certain the forum stickies proclaim the necessity of having at least part of your story in your thread, otherwise the place gets bombarded by overly customized advertising like this. |

Well, I was hoping when people told me that I was doing something wrong, they would have the decency to PM me, but I guess I was incorrect. I'm a little embarrassed and hurt because I put a lot of work into those profiles just to have them ridiculed. I kind of thought they might help the reader understand the storyline a bit better since I wasn't gonna go too deep into each character. Albeit this one already exists, I'm just going to have to start another one since I have two posts on here that ruins the thread itself. (Yes, I am being a b*tch, but this is really my fault. I'm new to the Gaia writing world, and I should've asked for help. But like many people, I was scared to ask and, now, I am really scared to ask. So, yes, I hope this will conclude my mistake.)
