Haunted | Some feedback, mayhaps?

Well hello there, my dears!

I have decided to post up some excerpts of my writing, curious as to how others view it. I myself claim no prowess in writing, though do quite thoroughly enjoy it, so hope that is prevalent in my words. I enjoy criticism, as long as it is creative, or at least not plain bashing of my work. True, I am mature enough to handle criticism thrown my way, but I believe it merely to be polite to be friendly in ones' suggestions. It would be much loved if you point out any grammar / spelling / other such issues to me, or any thoughts on what has been posted so far. As I have yet to decide on chapter breaks and whatnot, I will be posting in sections of roughly one thousand words, no matter if it is a rather awkward pause in doing so.
