Love

Love is a disease,
that tears up the heart.
romance is a plague,
that kills from the start.

Love is made rancid,
made tattered and torn,
those who follow it,
i look upon with scorn.

An outbreak of pain,
An epidemic of lies.
So much hatred,
Can fill up our skies.

Love takes friendships,
And tears them apart.
Love kills friendships,
Right from the start.

Love is made only to cause pain,
Love . . . thats whos to blame.

-Drowning Shallows-

Awake is like a nightmare,
Asleep is the same,
The pain in this world is draining,
Everyday I think of ending it all,
The option is to exit,
The only way is to bow out,
I’ve had my turn,
And owe it to myself,
To end this shame.

The tears would then stop,
The tears are so continuous,
I forget why I started crying,
But just one look at myself,
And my excuse for a life,
Soon reminds me,
Of the reason nobody surrounds me.
The people that do talk to me,
Only tell me to stop caviling,
And get it over and done with.

The only thing I will have done
Successfully in my life,
Is take their advice and use it.

write about it indirectly. i'm pretty strong in that sense of poetry, nothing else though.

try to verge on abstraction, it's almost tantric, minus the sex.
