Just as love this rose held softly close seeks affection,

Something while willing carries tolls when unattended.

This mere flower carrying rising spirits,

Bearing heights almost fearful,

Makes cautious frail and blinded awed.

Red coloring symbolic by pure intentions dyed through wounds,

Retribution towards one's intertwined being,

All for only one just sake,

Theirs.

Whatever bled shade illuminating the gray,

However steep lifted elevation climbs,

Regardless why visionless glances seek perfection,

Never forget,

What you hold may blacken by its Thorns of Love.

Well this was interesting. Very cryptic, and it sounds very painful. Not sure if that's what you were going for, but good for you all the same smile .
