Welcome to Gaia! ::

I wrote another poem because it's kinda Fun!

There was a frog,
There was a dog,
Both on a log,
Beside a bog,
He smiled, the frog,
He smiled, the dog,
Both drinking Tea upon the log,
They both looked down at the bog,
The first to speak, was the frog,
"Calm indeed," he said to the dog,
he released a croak, upon the log,
The croak echoed around the bog,
"Oh me! Oh my!" said the frog,
"That sure was loud!" replied the dog,
As they both sat, upon the log,
When something jumped out from the bog,
"what was that?" said the dog,
"What was that?" said the frog,
It turned out, it was a Polliwog!
*Squees* Yuki-chan, this is SO CUTE!!!! I wanna post up some more poetry now! Btw, vote for my poem in the writing arena okay? PLEASE???
Ty! I vote for you! Just because you my friend,

MWAHAHAHAHA!!!! FROGS AND DOGS!!!!

I take it you like dogs and frogs?
bump-a-doodle doo!
First off, wait 'til the poem has completely dropped off the front page to bump it. This is a slow moving forum and bumping is unnecessary.

----

The poem is nice and entertaining. Children would love it, it almost sounds like a nursery rhyme. To better achieve the playfulness of the poem, I suggest you make sure that each pair of lines has the same amount of syllables. This allows a person to read it in rhythm so it's almost song-like. Other than that, I have no qualms with the poem.

If you get the chance, stop by "A Phoenix Waits & A Candle on the Windowsill" :] They are a couple of my own poems.
