The moderators for the Original Poetry/Lyricism subforum have come to the consensus that it is appropriate to accelerate the proposed disciplinary chart and remove Teh Ministry of Lurve from the forum. The thread has become a central location for flaming, trolling, spam, harassment, and other negative behavior that is both detrimental to the community in the forum and in violation of the Terms of Service. The initial disciplinary scheme for the thread was made with the optimistic assumption that conditions would improve over time; unfortunately, this was not the case. With that in mind, the thread has been permanently locked and removed.

There will not be a replacement for this thread. No other hangout threads will be allowed in this forum. There is a guild for the Ministry, located here, where you may continue to communicate with regulars from this forum. Any threads sponsoring chats will be locked/removed. However, poetry jams and threads in which discussion focuses on poetry and group contributions as well as critiques will still be deemed acceptable.

Our intention is to bring the OP/L's focus back to poetry as opposed to casual conversation, as well as remove some of the unfortunate elitism which has overtaken the forum. We hope to work together with you to help improve the forum and make it into the productive workshop environment we know it is capable of being.
