I've learned that it's usually best to not revise immediately after one critique (unless you agree with that after reading it from their point of view). If, however, you get the same/similar comments from other people's critiques, then you should probably think of revising the said part.

That's actually a really good point, too. It kind of calls back to "if only one person just isn't getting it, yeah it's probably their problem. If no one but the author understands what's going on, it's probably pretty opaque."
