Who are we to push our immoral judgements
Vindications bursting between clenched teeth
Exclamations and accusations in our unholy faces
Rocks in head, ears deaf to pleas
" Michael, Michael" A cowering form reminds
With all his power, he dared not accuse what could not be denied
Who is like Him? passes no words to a traitor
Turning away, only rebuking in an Other's name
The incrimination so spitefully shouted to another
While our tallies go higher on the wall
Who raised us to this place-
Where we became blind to our pitfalls, and throw sinners in instead
When to our own faults we turn our stiff heads
Neck held so high on shoulders, treading on the path that leads to death
So easily the same deeds we can instantly forget
Quieting the voice that cries " Who is like Him?" then " Jesus!"
No, don't forget your place, or what you did even yesterday
Cause the wicked will throw the stone with no mercy
At one equally stained, until the only One who should throw the stone remains
Still in sadness, restrained in love
Rebuke, forgive, drop the stone and turn away

~ This has a lot to do with a Bible story or two. The first is when the archangle Michael says nothing to Satan, only to turn him away, then it goes on to say leave judging to God, cause we're by far not as perfect as we think ourselves. Then the other one is when Jesus stopped the stoning of the women who committed adultery, saying whoever hadn't sinned throw the first stone. Like this is a big deal to a lot of people so here it is.~
