Limericks...

What does one do when they are bored? I know! They write limericks. And if that isn't spelled right, tough beans.

I went to the store with my mommy
to get paper for oragami.
But the paper did rip, thus futile was my trip
with my mommy to make oragami.

I have a statue made of bronze
who reminds me a lot of the Fonz.
He'll awaken one day with a resounding "aye!"
then my bronze Fonz will eat cinnabons.

I have an old pair of gym socks
that I wear on my head like white locks.
But my locks, they did smell, so my mother did yell.
Now my sock-locks reside in a box.

I don't really need critiquing, but I guess if you're as bored as I am you could give it a shot.

just because limericks aren't necessarily a true art form doesn't mean there's not a valid reason to write and share them. i don't know a single person who couldn't benefit from an extra laugh now and then. so get off your high horses and just enjoy the simple things in life.
