I remember everything
Everything you did, and not just to me.
I remember the fights and your drunken nights.
The screams and my unseen tears
My heroes, worse than monsters under my bed
I remember the bruises and the hotel stays
The running from home, seeking help
He’s nothing and she’s broken.
I remember the relief and the day you left
No more sleepless nights,
No more fear of losing it all.
I remember everything

I like it. Poetry is really hard for me, so anyone who can write something that actually manages to make you feel their pain I really look up to.
