If I could stop hearing your voice,
I'd lay you to rest,
But you follow me everywhere,
In my head,
In my ears,
In my soul -

If I could stop seeing you,
I could maybe let go,
But somehow you are everyone I turn,
In my head,
In my eyes,
In my mind -

If I could leave you,
Maybe this would be over,
But somehow I still love you,
In my pain,
In my bruises,
In my tears -
