The coast will never clear,
This is my only chance.
Must overcome my fear,
And ask her for a dance.

Don't know why I'm so afraid,
And think so nervously.
The only words I have to say
are: "Will you dance with me?"

Time is going quickly by,
The chance is almost gone.
I really have to try,
Before my life moves on.

Tap her timidly and ask,
She smiles and says "Yes."
In happiness I will bask,
This day has been my best.
