Introduction: You know me. I am Nyssa, Square Root, Kiddo, whatever. I've got skills--critiquing ones, obviously--that this thread is going to help me work on. You've got skills too, and this is going to help you help me help you help yourself. A collaborative effort to become better writers and better critics about what too many people have an issue with: our own work. There's no such thing as "finished."
Guidelines: Quite simple, really. You will not post something you just wrote. I don't want to see it. Give yourself a day at minimum to think. Submit to other critique threads, user discussion, whatever. When you post here, I want at least 3 points that you'd like to work on, either something so-and-so said or something you've noticed/are worried about. 1 of these must be from you. If there's something else, it'll be brought up, but choose the "important" ones to be the main study versus kicking around minor details. The importance of those details may increase, but you won't know that until you try other things, right? Too many can't think critically about their own s**t. I do not exclude myself from this; hopefully I'll learn something myself.
Squared: The deal = your poem will not go into the completed list until you say so. I am prepared to work with you for as long as you need, or I'm capable. However, this only applies to one poem at a time (as far as the list goes). If you are able to receive tools here and apply them to your other works--fantastic! As far as the Que goes, though, one at a time. If you'd like to switch gears and work on a different piece you go to the end of the line. Also, actual progress must be made. Obviously, respect for mine and your agendas will be prominent. I understand different time zones, my frankly wonky hours, Online restrictions, and breaks. If the hiatus is going to be long, though, let me know (I'll do the same) and I'll move you off into a side-list to keep things going; I'll just have to juggle you when you get back. First and foremost, I expect participation and effort.
Que'd: This number will probably flux around. Let's start at a nice round five.

1. Power Armor Felix

I could put a poem here, one so ancient that its mummy wrappings would require forty days of re-hydration. All I ask is that my geriatric theories be treated kindly in physical rehabilitation xd
