@Naota: In such a situation Obliv stated that is was doubtful that Dirk could escape such a loose move, or just, oh..I don't know, BLOCK IT, with his own friggin' arm, verses bitching about it.

And stating it the way I did, yes, was a mistake, but you're not amazing for pointing that out. Saying anyone could just sling their arm around someone [NOTE THE SITUATION/CIRCUMSTANCES] is in no way saying they can just do everything else. It's called looking into it more. Looking into the facts, situations, etc.

Either way, Tac is and was right. That's not the problem anymore, so it's dropped.


This sentence, from Obliv's OOC is what makes sense:

Obliv's post isn't too logical either. No offense to either of you, but Dirk did not ignore logic, seeing as there wasn't an ounce of logic in the thread to begin with. OOC: Ohmygawd! I love your logic there. Especially considering the just about any modern round explodes on contact, so the shrapnel from cutting the bullet in half with the "DEMON KITANA', even if it had some kind of unexplained magical power, would still be just as, if not more deadly. I think the point remains the same, less bitching, more fighting.

Bullets don't explode on impact. If used upon an intended target, they stay intact. They only break upon hitting an extremely hard surface. If modern rounds explode/broke apart on impact then millions of murders worldwide wouldn't be solved due to the lack of ballistics. Bullets go in you and stay there. Burnt, a bit dented, but in you, or if strong enough: In the wall behind you.

The sheer stupidity and ignorance of that post is just that. Ignorant and stupid. A .50BMG round would rip a Kitana apart, take your head and neck along with it, and leave itself on the floor or a wall intact. Only a bit mushroomed. That's anti-material ammunition. They're used on bloody tanks. Not even smaller caliber weapons break apart upon contact. They usually either ricochet or imbed themselves in walls.

They do not implode, explode, or any other "plode" I forgot to mention. It's only a rare occasion when they blow up. Bullets mostly flatten or mushroom on contact and bullets breaking on you usually mean there's a defect or you got cheap bullets.

Such assumptions aren't cool and aren't appreciated. No, actually it's appreciated because it's funny. You're funny. Good s**t. If I owned a gun shop I'd totally name it "Vampiric Urges" and have a sign up front saying, "We know about guns." wink )

Yet, all he physically does is kneel... his all-piercing eyes keeping careful watch upon Yuna.

You saying that Dirk is a lower fiend is not only unfair but wrong. It's practically god-modding going around telling everyone that their charcaters are weak and therefore your attacks do nothing. Dirk may very well be the son of Satan and you'll still be convinced that he sucks. Plus, you said that you haven't read Dirk's profile. So, with that going how can you assume that he's a lesser demon when you know nothing about him?

And if you haven't noticed, the only reason Dirk is trying to get into the fight is so that Yuna can come out. Seeing as the only reason she came in to the fight in first place was so that you wouldn't be unfair and hit Dirk when he had other attackers to deal with. Where was Diaboros then? I guess that whole "fair fight" stuff only shows up when it's convenient to you.))
