Morcanson was not at all satisfied with Vincent's response, but he would go along with whatever he was intending for now. He would speak with the commander privately later. Carrie wasn't happy and the captain was seething, but Vincent was more or less calm, as was generally expected of him. Morcanson took note of Jek's quicksilver as it began to harden into a fist, hoping that if a conflict did arise, it would at least not be caused by one of his own soldiers. In any event, he would be forced to side with the captain, and in this case he did not want un-needed bloodshed. He turned his head to Fluer and said in a relatively quiet voice, "Go make sure Captain Jek keeps his cool. Find out what happened if you can."
