Summary: Long after the witch hunts had ended and were forgotten, there were no more then six families of magical descent still surviving. There was peace among the families for some time until three of the remaining families began meddling in the dark arts, most ritual practices called upon the sacrifice of blood.
The change in ritual practices caused a great rift to arise between the families, sparking war. Thus, the Occult War began. The three clans whom practiced dark magic were almost wiped out and forced to retreat, but they vowed revenge, and the triumphant white magic clans had thought they had heard the last of them. But time passed, and after many years, people are starting to go missing. It seems the dark clans have sent a calling card, which means that the second Occult War is about to begin
