II. Story

The legend is very long and complex, trailing thousands of years over uncharted realities.... How Diaboross the Devourer came to power in the fiendish realms; ascended to godhood and became a paradox spreading over all realities just a bit; with more influence than the crimson king...

Here and now is neither the time nor place to recite such a tale - merely to tell of its existence. Diaboross... god of paradox, ruler of the plane he created betwixt the 10th hell and the 667th layer of the abyss...

The fate of existence shall be written here, as its course is altered.
Shall a hero rise to vanquish the evil?
Shall the evil prevail, and let the nothing be the all?
Or will the battle rage on for the remainder of eternity...?

III. Rules

1. Respect. Flaming will get you banishment.
2. Power-playing is allowed here. However, all other general rules of RP must be observed and followed.
3. Character sheets are recommended for validity - especially in this environment with relatively little to no power cap.
4. God battles encouraged; but follow basic guidelines of divinity. Rarely if ever shall a god venture into the home plane of another, without massive armies. ETC.
5. Following up on that, your armies must be quantifiable. The only 'infinite' in this thread to be used, is when describing the space of the plane.

Aim

To amass forces of destruction and eventually over-run the populus of the FFA.

Alignment

Chaos

IV. Description

The Plane of Paradox- Infinite abyss, with a single floating island of molten rock in the center. The further distance traveled from the island, the less stable the plane. And though the plane is technically infinite, one can only go so far before travelling... elsewhere. The visual manifestation of the planar instability is as a 'graying', where space can no longer be observed until it reaches a pitch-blackness. IF one can navigate the grayness unto black, somehow preventing themselves from being 'warped' to another reality, they shall step directly into the paradox of void/non-existence; and no matter their state of being, be shredded and dispersed amongst the nothingness.

Xodarap(Ksah-duh-râp), City of the End - The floating island, while 10 miles across, the city only spans 5 miles in the center. Though the plane is the HQ of Diaboross, it is not where his armies lie. Rather, the city is reserved for only the most devout; only those favored 'live' there(if they truly be alive). All structures vary in size and purpose, just as any human city. The only thing that sets it apart from the norm, is the fact that all the structures are made of hell steel, aka Daedric, which gives the city a molten, twisted look. Beneath the city is a network of tunnels. In the center of the city, lies the tower.

Caves of Nothing - Where the darkness lies.... The true darkness. There are several entrances into these tunnel networks on the outer edges of the island. Inside them no light can be lit; no path constructed; as if the tunnels are an entirely seperate reality. This is where the horrors and monstrosities reside - their ability to destroy too great for the city to contain them.

The End - The tower that marks the center of the city. This is the only non-daedric structure, made of darksteel(courtesy of Mirrodin). It's base is a half mile across. It stretches into the 'sky' the equivalent of a thousand stories, though there are only 100 floors. No windows. Each level beyond the ground floor merely extends into another reality; and thus, floors 2-50 are gate/warp rooms. The ground floor contains a grand throne for the Antigod to remain, while he extends his will across the planes as desired(astral projections). There is no door, just an entranceway that is always open. Two massive sentient beings guard the entry - both from a hellish plane ruled by massive insectoids.

Quote:
This guild is linked to 'Army of Annihilation' thread in the O/M sub-forum. Therefore, the forces are from there, despite lack of RP present in the other thread. From time to time I may do AoA RP in this thread.

X. Character List

garron100045
Name: Valmora Neftez(nef-tease)
Age: A little over two thousand years in both past, future, and preasant timelines and dimensions.
Race: Monkathian(Plane Walker)
Appearance: He stands at about six foot three, his eye color changes every so often, but is usually a vacuume like greyish black mixed with swirls of azure and maroon, without any white iris. His skin is a bronze color, though it's almost wholy covered in black glyphlike tattoos of some sort and kept from view. His facial features strong and angular, though his aura, palpable as it is gives a sort of constantly shifting, semi visible color surrounding him.
Powers: Dimensional travel, creation, and minor manipulation in certain, weaker dimensions. Through this dimensional travel, he can walk in practically any plane of existance, time, or place. Alternate and otherwise. Also, through various upgrades both magical, archane, and technological, he's gained energy absorbtion, manipulation, telekinesis, and spirit domination, allowing him to force his will over others with weaker spirits, controlling them to a certain extent depending on how strong their will is. Also his physical form has been altered to give him supernatural strength, and durability, also, through a cerebral enhancement, his reaction time is almost to te point of near precognition. He also posseses cosmic awareness.
Weapons/Equipment: He wears a lightweight, emerald colored guantlet of some indestructable metal with symbols of magic on it's palm, allowing him to summon forth any weapon he wishes to call forth from a small pocket dimension he created which houses weapons from all over the dimensional spectrum.
Personality: Quiet... But does not like to be trifled with, for like all Monkathians, he still has a short temper, even with his years of otherworldly travel. After his entire world was destroyed by one of his own, he's lost most all compassion towards other beings, other then those mortals who interest him in some way or another and warrant his attention, bad or otherwise.
Bio: His life started as any normal Monkathian Scribe's would. Searching for knowledge that would grant him power over others. He thought he was about to obtain ultimate knowledge, and gain a power beyond any Monkathian when his entire home, all fifteen islands were completely and utterly destroyed, all differant versions of it, all time lines, every trace of Monkathias existance had been wiped out by a single Monkathian who sought the same thing Valmora did, but went about it the wrong way. After this destruction, Valmora was saved, and turned into the Plane Walker he is today by the former Plane walker, the being whom he'd tried to gain this powerful knowedge from... The being who'd destroyed his world because of the impudence of one War Son... Since that day, he's been traveling through every dimensional gateway he can create to find any remnants of his former home.
