Welcome to Gaia! ::

Town Name: Jeska
Status: Post Apocalypse; nearly nothing left.
Population: 2

Story/Background This place was Taigeku's hometown. Having nearly escaped death by begging raiders to spare his life, and take him as one of them; Taigeku hasn't seen this place in 15 years. There is nothing left, a single fabrication building remained in tacked after raiders bombed a nuclear power facility. No animals, a handful of floral undergrowth, and a single, radiated man was all Taigeku found upon his return, due to the high amounts of radiation.

Base Of Operation Jeska is a distant town, on the edge of an ocean and a desert. Miles can be seen in any direction due to the flat, charred, and dead landscape. The once large crater is mostly eroded full and the only thing standing spare some telephone poles, street lights, and a few trees is the fabrication building.

Base Defenses High amounts of nuclear radiation, Marty.

Marty: A nearly mentally handicapped elderly man, indescribably weak, stupid, and hot tempered. For whatever reason, his Geiger Counter hasn't ticked its last breath, and he's still alive. He posses no skills, little weaponry, and hardly any teeth. He survives off stealing from passing caravans and the floral undergrowth which has no nutritional value.

Marty:

Marty awakens to the sound of buzzards cawing from empty stomachs somewhere near; it's about 10am but he doesn't know that. After itching the eye crust from his dilated eyes with his filthy fingers, he yawns and stands. He stretches, urinates in a corner not 10 feet form his makeshift bed of found bubble wrap, packing peanuts stuff in a old shirt, and a dust seal blanket designed for covering machines overnight, and walks over to, and looks out of his 'balcony' on the third story, overlooking the desert. Nothing.

{Unintelligible words}

He scales down the wrecked stairway, and makes his way towards the ocean, dipping his face into and drinking. Normally, this would make someone vomit and want to die; but Marty is too stupid to know the difference. He grabs a few mussels from the shore, cracks them open and shovels them into his mouth. And does some more grumbling at the taste; they've been in the sun all morning.

((Guild now open, feel free to post...

Or just read about Marty))
Marty:

After sitting in the sun for a few hours, completely void of anything to do, Marty takes off his clothes and jumps in the warm ocean and starts singing some folk songs and splashing water around like a newborn in the sink.

He tries to catch a few or two, with no luck accidentally inhales some water while singing and spends a few minutes coughing and gagging.

Marty walks up towards the beach again, cleaner than he was and starts washing his clothes.
Marty:

Martys Clothes are clean, and he starts heading back up towards the base when he hears the faint sound of someone talking, a few peope... A caravan!

Marty starts sprinting towards the two men, a merchant and a guard with their load on camel back....
Marty:

Before the caravan guard could even notice, Marty was on top of him. Grabbing the man's long unkempt hair and savagely beating his face with his harden, calloused fist. Within a moment, the guard was mumbling through blood about taking whatever he wanted when Marty felt a sharp pain in his back.

The merchant has stabbed him.

Muvverfucger Marty screamed through lack of teeth and turned around, small pen knife still in his back and kicked the man square in the groin. As the man fell, Marty rushed him and threw a swift, powerful knee into the top of the man's head, buckling his neck, and dropping him.

After calming down the caravan, and dragging the stubborn mule back to his safe house, Marty grabbed a flank of steel and walked back outside to see nothing but a puddle of blood and some foot prints. He turned back inside roped the mule to an open brace, and started unpacking some stuff.

A lone wolf walked along the beach, she twitched a little as she sniffed the salty air... Deciding to walk further inland to search for some kind of food...or shelter.

She was a beautiful wolf, her silvery coat glistening in the sun. She was no ordernary wolf though, from her back protuded a pair of wings, silver like her coat and her eyes were a deep sightless looking black.

Walking she wondered if there was even anyone still here.
Marty

As Marty was just finished packing up his things from his recent robbery, he noticed from his second story perspective a lone wolf walking the beach.

... {unintelligible words} Wolf

He grabbed the 20g shotgun from its place and jammed two bullets in the chamber and scaled his way down the side of the building, as quietly as he could, however between the clanking of his gun, his grumbling and the sliding bits of decomposed cement and rusted metal, anything could have heard him make his way towards the wolf on the beach.

Jessica did indeed hear the man, and sadly for her she could smell him too. (( xd ))
Seeing he had a gun she snorted, her eyes turning to a blazing white within a second or two she watched him attempt his silent descent. She knew the gun would not kill her yet she was still unwilling to be shot, it was hurt like hell. So it was then decided that she would have to kill the man...

Her shadow rising behind her, completing its rise in 5seconds or so...It was a terrifying sight considering it took the shape of her she-demon form. Then another few seconds passed as the shadow sent out the black tendrals, they flew towards the man with increadable speed...Distance was no factor for the wolf and her shadow.
Marty:

No sooner had Marty got his balance off the crumbling wall, did he see the wolf transforming. In a sudden seizure of fear, he dropped the gun into the soft sand of the building side and put his forearms in front of his face a quivered violently.

Marty had never seen such a thing before, and assumed that the wolf walking on the beach was just some confused and irradiated animal seeking food, and thusly becoming his food.
The flash of light is swift, like lightning zipping across the sky at funny angles, and for a moment, over abandoned buildings a shadow briefly obscures the sun. Suddenly, and without warning, the transcontinental ballistic missile bursts open into dozens of tiny missiles firing outward in a pattern not unlike a scorpion's tail. Moving with deliberation and deadly precision, the missiles find their targets scattered over several kilometers in every direction, but rather than untold destruction, they merely burst open, fliers in several languages read a clear warning:

The Worst is yet to come.

'You have been ordered to Yield by the Executive order of the Imperial Decree of his High and Immaculate Goodness, the Prophet of Assbadistan, Anthon Noire,

Peace Be upon his Name."
She reached up at hand, plucking a flier from the air as it floated down. She walked along the beach, enjoying the feeling of sand between her toes and the sound of the waves the ocean created. The fabric of her black kimono was hiked up a bit, tucked into the dark yellow sash that wrapped around her slender waist, keeping the fabric in place around her form. Strands of silver danced in the wind that came from the sea, and she used her free hand to brush some of the strands from in front of her gold eyes.

Her eyes scanned the paper, translating it in her mind and her lips moved as she silently read it. A frown crept across her glossed lips, and she stopped her trek, tilting the paper this way and that. "How odd....." Actually she thought this method highly amusing for getting one's point across. A laugh escaped from her as she tossed the flier aside.

Marty:
((Sorry Jess, gotta skip ya))
After a moment of not getting attacked by the wolf demon, Marty lowered his hands to see the wolf frozen in place, very eery. As the notes started falling from the sky, he picked one up and though he couldn't read it at all, he shoved it in his pocket to show his master whenever he decided to show up.

Taigeku had read from Marty's concerned thoughts that something was wrong, very wrong. Thusly he made his way in his incorporeal form to Jeska, which was conveniently faster to travel by because of a reduced air resistance. No sooner had he taken his corporeal form then he saw Arretsu wandering near the beach front; ignoring the falling memos, probably a foolish move. Immediately he flashed over to her, his eyes being completely captured by her form as he settled his feet on the ground some 15 feet from her. His artificially created eyes, being more advanced than human eyes could see every pore of her porcelain skin, and deep golden and trusting eyes.

...Angel
His voice was soft and cautious as he made it obvious he was delighted by her presence.
She was about to continue on, but was distracted by the waves, her gold gaze staring off distantly. Then she felt a presence near, and a gaze upon her. "Hmm?" She turned her head, reaching up a hand to tuck silver tresses behind her ear, instead of letting the strands dance in front of her eyes.

Her eyes took in the man before her, and a warm smile graced her glossed lips. "Why hello.." she purred, a mischievous look in glinting in her eyes.

Taigeku caught all of her movements, her turn, the way she put her hair, the look on her face. Even the tone of her voice was seductive to him, even if unintentional. He couldn't help but stare, drifting slowly forward, not even lifting his feet all the way, just pushing the sand aside with his bare toes.

I thought you were gone...

His voice was amazed, even confused but the expression on his face would read nothing but content with her being here.
