Welcome to Gaia! ::

Separ was about to crack a laugh at the rabbit himself when he heard the voice in his head, "Death..?" He whispered to himself, he looked over at the crew, one thousand pirates all looking around around for the source of this message...or possible the threat it mentioned..."All personnel battle stations!" He ran down towards the nearest camp and found one of his appointent liuetenants. "You, make sure theres a musket and ammunition in every hand, I want anything that can be used as a barracade put in place, now!" The man ran off the carry out the orders shouting at various crewmen along the way. Turning back Separ looked to Sargatanas, "Get Artanis, he is in the bar." With that Separ turned back to help the men set up a deffense for whatever was on the way.

Yaotzin didn't need to hear the warning broadcast to his mind, he had seen the ship, hard to miss something like that when you're flying over the ocean. "Damnit!" He certainly didn't like the look of the guns bearing down at the island, "Well then...let's do this..." He swooped down towards the people running across the deck, "Looks like some fancy weapons...but we shall see just how good they fair against century old magic..." Yaotzin paused for a second, "I should stop talking to myself..." Folding his wings in Yaotzin dropped feet first and landed with one clawed foot directly on the head of one of the ships crew. The man barely got a screech out before his head was flattened to the deck, a satisfying splat came next and Yaotzin saw blood...and, other substances fly off around the now motionless corpse. Smiling Yaotzin looked around, "Who's next?" He spread his wings wide and cackled toawrd the sky.
Sargatanas nodded, quickly saluting and waving curtly to Fiver. He jogged over to the dojo's steps, pushing open the doors jerkingly. The marble floor clicked under his claws, and he came to a skidding stop as he came to the elevator, pushing the up arrow button with his tail. Not too long later, and with a minimum of elevator music, the demon found himself on the bar floor. Artanis was there, of course, trying to figure out if he had really heard Death or if it was simply the alcohol squirming around in his skull. Tapping the counter with a claw, Sargatanas finally had to tear the tankard out of his gripping hands. "Come on, dwarf, get yourself sober. We've got a trouble."
Marises was quiet still in her perch, never having left the night before she stared off into the distance. Of course the long years being in all the guilds she had allied herself with and the ceaslessness of countless battles were taking their toll. She had...an air about herself that was very blunt, prudent one might add. She was nevertheless kind as she had always been...but the dark hollowness of her eyes and the listless sigh that escaped her lips were more than enough to make anyone else depressed.

The fox spirit inclined her head in an animalistic type way, a thought came to mind but she quickly dismissed it. Ghastly strands of golden white billowed in the breeze before neatly falling back into place. Sapphire orbs glued to the dojo's main gate and never once to waver. A smile creeped upon her lips and a tinge of dusky white mist enveloped her form.

Now appariating before the main entrance, hand piosed over the door and tracing delicate fingers over the structure the female couldn't help but hide a slight hint of amusement. She would lurk here just a little longer, having severed all ties with former associates and allies, she really had no need to be interrogated. Turning she then took a seat beneath a yewl tree and flicked ears, scouting out any noise or disturbances. Nothing would happen. Not yet anyways...
Death was still meditateing. He wanted to get as much power as he could get before the ship got too close. Electricity started to pulse down his body as time went on a buzzing noise began to come from his direction as the voltage of the electricity grew.

After Yaotzin killed one of the crew members of the vessel a large dome came over the ship's deck trapping Yaotzin. The dome was made by some unknown matierial. It was stronger than any known material on this planet. So it could be a little tough for him to get out of the dome. Then the ship was in sight of the island.

It turned sideways and then tilted onto its side so that the bottom of the ship was facing the island. The ships inerts stayed balanced so that they were still up right so that the crew didn't fall when the ship turned. Some how the ship was still hovering above the water. Four long poles came from each corner of the ship since the ship was almost a square the tips of them came together to meet in the middle. It looked like it was forming some huge weapon.
Yaotzin looked up t the closed dome over the deck and sighed. "Do they think that will help? Not like I'm expecting help..." Calling upon the dark energy within him he summoned his blade Soul Reaver, and looked towards the oncoming, "Now the fun starts," a horrible cakle he charged into them.

Artanis tried to clear his mind and listen to the demon, "Ugh voices in my head...." He tried to think...who had it been..."The guy.....drinks Jack Daniels...talked into my brain..." Taking a few sloppy steps toward the demon Artanis laughed..."Well...if there is a threat coming...let's get ready for it..." With that he took a swig from the bottle in his left hand and fell face first to the floor.

Sargatanas raised an eyebrow as the dwarf collapsed, contemplating whether or not Separ could really use Artanis in his apparent slobbering form. Simultaneously using his tail to place the spilled tankard back upon the bar and one arm to lift the drunk by the scruff of the neck, the demon shrugged, sighed, and left the building with Artanis in tow.
((Umm, people? Why am I still the last person to have posted? In.... August. Have all your precious squishy organs imploded?))

Nami was fast asleep on the boat, exhausted. Her completely automail left arm lay resting on her smei-puffy stomach. Her devil tail was limply handing off the bench she was sitting on, slouching her back on the bow of the little boat. Her wings were fit perfectly under her, on the other side of the bench, under the little dip of the edge of the boat. Nami's face seemed exhausted as well. Tieron had lain a blanket over her because she, for some absurd reason, was in boyshorts, her platform boots, and a tanktop. But as a devil, she normally didn't get cold. Tieron must have just been looking out for her.

She stirred a bit. Her pregnancy, though only three months in had be pretty uncomfortable, but she knew it probably would be, considering she'd only been pregnant once, and a very long time ago. And Nami knew that it was a blessing she was pregnant.

Nami also had told Tieron to wake her when they were just a bit off shore, which was soon.

The toe of a still-shiny leather boot poked Nami's leg gently. The leg that the foot occupying the boot was attached to returned to a balancing position as the body attached to that and another leg stood in the boat, holding onto the rudder handle by arms attached in turn to it.

"Time to get up, Nami. Just about to shore." Add the head attached to said body and throw on some clothes and we have Tieron, Nami's lover and the father of the child she carried. He'd stuck with her for the entire journey getting that full automail arm, and he intended to keep sticking with her through thick and thin. They were almost home.
Nami opened one eye and sighed, then closed it. She groaned a little, then yawned and stretched, the blanket falling off her. It startled her a little, but otherwise, nothing. She blinked a few times, and sighed, but she had a smile.

We're really close?" Excitedly, but still a little tired.

Tieron nodded. He pointed to the cliffside poking out above the fog.

"
Aye. Just about there." He smiled as he locked the oar in place against the pull of the waves, keeping course. He knelt down and pulled the blanket back up partly over Nami. "How you feelin?"
Nami smiled and pulled the blanket over her stomach a little as she sat more upright in the back. From sitting on the bench for a while, her butt felt like she was sitting on pins and needles - it had fallen asleep. She laughed slightly.

"We're good. GOOD."

She smiled bigger. Her wings stretched out nice and wide, and her tail gave a good curl and then went back to hanging mostly limp, with an occasional twitch.

Tieron smiled and slid back to the other seat, keeping a hand on the rudder. A few moments later and they bumped gently against a small dock somebody'd built off of the beach since they'd left.

"
Huh. Somebody was expecting us."
"Good or bad?"

Nami's voice dropped a little. She pulled the blanket for her stomach a little more as well, her tail moving up and over it. her wings stayed closed behind her, now awake. She cleared her throat a little and quickly got up and move close to Tieron.

Tieron shrugged. He honestly didn't know if this was good or bad. He started up the path toward the road to see just where this all lead.

"
Just... stick close."
