Marmalades's Husband

Rum tickled down the throat without a sense of hesitation. Tipped over several drops fled in a sprinkle to Horekoshu's tongue before he set it down with a hollow thud to the counter. His eyes, weary, focused on the numbers of alcoholic flavors ahead of him, all neatly fitted onto the racks behind the bar. His toes pressed against the counters wooden frame back and forth, twisting his stool in small rotative motions. Echoes haunted him across the mansion now as if the dead were back and found him to torture for their endless misery. Horekoshu felt their pains and with their eyes he saw their deaths. The sense was overwhelming to him at most but yet he had to find some melody of comfort from their screams to keep sane.

What the hell...Where has all the rum gone?

His open hand reached into his pocket, pulling out a pack of Newports. He lit one up before hearing steps gently pressing into the bar room. At the corner of his eyes he could peek and see a women strutting in with a sort of happiness about her. Instantly Horekoshu could sense an attraction for her, as she was in skin tight clothing that hardly covered a large portion of her body. Tattoos detailed her body with imagery that drew out a smirk from himself.

"Hey babe. Got a name?" A cloud of smoke pressed out from his lungs in a mist over the counters horizon. Ash fell from the cherry in a clump that piled onto the wooden frame.
Samantha chuckled, returning his smirk as she approached and calmly sat down on a bar stool next to him. Nodding she'd reply, "maybe... how bout you?" leaning a bit on the bar she'd relax her self and look back at him awaiting a reply.

Marmalades's Husband

His eyes focused back to the racks of alcohol. Each bottles name started to settle; the whiskey, the wine, the rum.

"Horekoshu Natashi. So who are you?"

He reached over and grabbed a bottle of whiskey.

The lands of the mansion were quiet enough without the everyday hustle and bustle of life amongst the mainstream crowd of Gaians but the skies seemed to be in open revolt. Arcs of blackness coursed through the clouds before a massive burst of green light pierced down through the cloud cover to cut a deep furrow through the earth some two hundred yards off the property line. The clouds had begun to disperse around the beam before it had even dispersed but what came next burned away clouds in a huge ring around where the beam had been. Falling through the huge gap being burned through the skies came a charred figure trailing black smoke and chunks of debris even as the air around him was set ablaze from the friction of air resistance opposing his rapid reentry into the atmosphere and beyond.

The chunk of matter careening from the skies was charred and damaged but oddly growing back as decaying flesh stretched over blackened bone. Fell energies crackled along the frame of the falling beast as he tried to increase his surface area to slow his fall and hopefully increase his overall mass so that the portions being scoured off could be compensated for. He only truly feared hitting the ground and even then only because he had no idea how far his limbs would be scattered and his flesh pureed. It was clear that at one point the crude arrangement of what seemed to be warped ribs extending from his back in what had probably been wings but were now mangled and seemed to have been melted.

It was not the collateral damage of the beam that would ultimately matter to those inhabiting the mansion but the half ton mass of dead flesh falling fast enough to be burning up all along the way. Even as he began to increase his surface area his path was taking him farther and farther off the main path of the beam such that he was gradually aiming himself for the structure itself. This was not an intentional act but merely a result of wishing not to hit the ground at terminal velocity for his base size and weight. The impact alone would likely decimate one half of the structure, thankfully with no one terribly important within it, as well as shake the rest of the mansion to the foundation and perhaps even set fire to the rubble in which the charred corpse lands.

He wasn't getting up from that one anytime soon, or at least he shouldn't be.

OOC Leave Tac's post to me. Ill reply asap.
OOC:....Oh goodness

((You can make a DM call that the damage isn't nearly as severe, but I would hate to see an instant repair or a complete prevention of the damage either by stopping a mostly magic immune being from falling on it from space.))

OOC Tac. I know about how to post, Im not invincible or anything.......I know how im replying.

Hartia would awaken and yawn as he would feel something closing in somewhat fast, a huge heat source it was. He felt it through the presence of his thermokinesis. He would burst through his window from the mansion and land squatting as he would then run out a bit, thurn around and look up. This object jeopardized his mansion, but that wasnt the problem, it was the people inside that counted, sure this guild is to have most fend for their own judging by the contents of the specific area of the mansion, the middle of a waring ground....24/7.

Hartia would then use wind manipulation to swirl around his feet to launch him into a flight of sort. He would rocket for the threat. Too bad his terminal velocity wouldnt match the falling objects right. None the less. When close to impact he would push his arms out, palms facing the object, the already flaming object and began to use his heat to push out radioactive pulses of even more intense heat. The waves that his one after the other helped to break down the beings body faster to lessen the objects compound.

Once the object was about to hit him he would stop his wind and flaming abilities and release enegy through his pores that would cover him in seemingly water. This would solidify into ice. A mythical ice that would fail to even sweat under the most intense heats of flames. But what was the story of it? Unknown its presumed. Hartia wouldnt be imobile however, more of an iceman kind of figure. He would push the object what little he could at this point to set it off course as much as possible. There would be a brief moment before the object that smacked into Hartia would push the two touching being into the mansion and destroy a third of it, mostly the building to the top right hand side if one were facing its front.

OOC So Tac you are going to pay for damages right? Does my insurance cover falling object of destruction?
The loud crashing which echoed throughout the rest of the lasting building, Alerted Crosse and caused him to jump from his sitting place. He was placed on the opposite side of the of building, but just outside one of the doors. During the entire in air incident his vision was aimed towards the ground causing him to miss most of it. "Are wa nan desu ka?" His thoughts were in English but he spoke in the language he was practicing.

((That likely just pissed him off, and he already has enough on his mind, much less care about what he landed on. XD))

Each radioactive pulse washed over the beast and instead of breaking away section off mass or irradiating the decaying body the pulses seemed to be ignored. In fact, even the amount of heat trailing in the wake of the creature was less substantial that it should be otherwise for such a re-entry. The only positive aspect to Hartia's efforts would be the two facts that the mansion sustained less damage than it would otherwise and he'd have mostly whole chunks of an eight foot behemoth in the center of a smaller crater as opposed to dead flesh almost everywhere.

Unfortunately for the creature in the crater and all those present the impact was not the most pressing issue but instead they had to look to the skies once again. At the center of the gap in the clouds a bright green light began to grow as if it were a new star emerging from nothingness into its new life amidst the Gaian skies. A speck appeared at the center and fell just as fast if not faster than the beast's uncontrolled fall and whatever was coming had a clear purpose. A giant comet of what seemed to be space debris and emerald ice was quickly speeding towards the point of impact and its size along was enough to erase the mansion and much of the surrounding area if it hit. However, as it fell the shape began to alter and change as the sides were sculpted away and the debris was either ejected or converted into a single giant spike of jade. By the time it was done the crystal formation was a vision of perfection with every angle measured perfectly to leave it completely symmetrical down to the needle point it ended with.

Whether or not Hartia had the foresight to get the hell out of the way was another matter entirely but the creature in the crater barely had time to shake the jarring experience of falling from space. Parts of him were obliterated in the impact and others were driven deep under the ground but his skull and a few other vital components yet remained, like his fingers... somewhere. The skull was kicked up and away by the impact in a wave of dirt and busted chunks of concrete but oddly the crystalline spire did not even crack. The one biggest odd thing about the spire seemed to be that a definite and powerful aura was brewing within it as though a person had weathered that fall and resultant impact.

Magnetic Lunatic

Shadow awoke from his trance-like state that he substituted for sleep. He watched as a behemoth of flesh rained down from the sky like waste from the gods' letrines them selves, and his nose was assaulted by the putrid stench of it all.

'What a wretched stench' he thought to himself.

Shadow felt another presence approaching from near the same quardinents in the sky, this one had a far more refined aura. Shadow looked up from his treebranch and saw a deep emerald thing emerging from a void like rift.

'I think not...Hore is in there, and I'll not let some space dust mess up an old friend.'

Shadow snapped his fingers and his shadow started to rise up slowly until it took the shape of a male standing at six feet tall.

"Yes m'lord?" Phoenix the shadowhunter said, kneeling before Shadow.
"Phoenix, I need you to get the hunters in a stratigic position in order to be ready for a very large falling object. And it appears to be becoming sharper. Can you handle that?"
"Yes m'lord, I shall have Niteshade assist me with the hunters."

Shadow nodded and watched Phoenix sink away again. Now with the hunters dealing with that, he could go and properly introduce himself to this Hartia fellow.

"Its good having thousands of allies a mere convorsation away..."
And thus, Shadow began to walk slowly toward the crater where Hartia seemed to lie.

Horekoshu slammed another pull from the whiskey while waiting for the ladies response. The alcohol sunk down his throat like a rock in water until a sudden event shook his surroundings and caused him to spit up and choke a little. His eyes peeked in the direction of the main collapse with debris shaking from the ceiling and toppling onto his head.

"Ya, I don't have the time to talk right now..."

He set the bottle down and walked out of the room with a slow slouched pace. Blurry vision lead his way to the door where he peeked outside a crack of the door. The Behemoth was set to his left a little, only the horns of it towering out from the crater. His stubbornness almost caused him to go back for the whiskey, but yet he found it inside of him to take a step outside. The screeching sound of his sword being unsheathed scratched at his ears. The smoke hovering out of the crater blew into his direction. His steps avoided the flesh.

A being crawled from the crater and immediately got to his feet. He would exit the crater with great speed, one may have seen an after image of him in the crater, others may have simply lost track....few would keep up with him. He would hold a smile and dust himself off.....shin tone changed, hair longer.....who was this? Hartia right? Oh s**t! No....it wasnt. Shin'Su finnaly got his wish. "Shouldve let me out sooner.....heh." He would chuckle a bit before he would slightly squat and leap up curving air around and under him to propel him upwards. He was judging the radius of the blast coming and the radius in width would be too great, trying to make it high enough to get away was more probable. "I hope you dumb asses know to get the ******** out of there!" He yelled to the mansion quite audibly. He would simply flee for now as he was sure the beast was the target at hand....he didnt feel threatened, yet if this s**t continued even when the mansion was destroyed, he'd be pissed.
