{OOC: Pffft, it was technically char control, sometimes people throw fits over that XD And don't worry Ppohsib, hard not to reply to that! Edit: Aw yea received Pink gift box upon posting! }
Nix was starting to feel a bit cornered as Sonia seemed to keep appraising each reaction Nix made, and the woman couldn't place where her smirk came from. Regardless, her and Bishop both seemed to enjoy the bit of discomfort that his out-right statement had brought her. At the very least, Sonia let her off the hook by mentioning her own involvement in the Yard, and Nix went to reply to the passing thread of information- but Bishop derailed that by swinging into a piece of rambling.
Well, she'd tried anyway.
Sama seemed to be contemplating other things, but had looked a bit uncomfortable at the topic himself. Knowing that Sama wasn't one to let things go unfinished, Nix figured that Jericho's loss had affected him in someway. Other then a slight tensing, he appeared to take no notice and looked to no where in particular. The black eyes, though initially less unnerving then the odd sea foam white ones, were worse for telling the direction of his gaze. Though as Bishop commanded more attention with his slightly drunken rambling, Nix felt Sama glance in her direction at least once. There was no telling what he was thinking, but he was likely planning something.
Bishop's continuing of the subject left Nix forcing herself to be polite and listen to the bit of bad-mouthing and background information on a person that appeared to be deceased.Her head rested in her palm as he slurred on,but there were some interesting bits to be found in his rambling, and a good deal told her of his character. A person she might of often faternized with in her younger days.
Jesus- how old are you? God damn your life has gotten boring.
Bishop was like many she'd encountered, and the talk of Jericho ceased to really bother her at all. Curiosity always did get the better of her, and Bishop was mentioning information that might be useful. Though she'd no idea on why he'd felt the need to re-iterate his involvement in the Yard, that'd become quite obvious.
"So, what is Makar Steea intending to-"
Bishop hit the ground-and there was twitching, a lot of twitching. It'd happened too fast for Nix to catch him,so she instead found herself quickly reeling back and off the stool from whatever had fallen on top of him- or jumped him. Where had that creaking come from? They were in a mountain for gods-sakes!
Now two large steps away from Bishop, Nix found grip on a random, near empty bottle that'd lazily been resting on the bar, and was more then willing to bludgeon who or what had reduced Bishop to the twitchy mess on the ground. This was an immediate response for her, as natural as her breathing, and Nix had her footing with bottle in hand to first assess what the devil was going on, or to block whatever might attack her.
