Welcome to Gaia! ::

Vivian nods at his instructions before turning around on her heel. She moves throughout the safe house until she arrives at a bedroom. Moving towards the bed, she'd set her suitcases down. A rush of exhaustion hits her. She was up for the past twenty four hours. It was impossible for her to sleep on a plane; she could never do it and never will.

Vivian makes her way towards the bathroom, turning on the shower faucet. She undresses and climbs into the shower. The hot steaming water drips down on her back and awakens her senses. Vivian didn't know what she thought of Felix yet. She didn't particularly hate him, but she didn't particularly like him. Her task was simply to complete the assigned missions and move on. That is what she would do.

Climbing out of the shower, she wraps a towel around her hair and body. Vivian makes her way towards the bed, sliding under the covers and passing out within seconds.

Felix headed to the common area, retrieving the laptop from the coffee table in the center of the room. He turned on his heel heading back toward his living quarters, pushing through the door. As Felix entered the room, he placed the laptop onto the desk. He went directly to his duffel bag, opening it up and checking his HK MP5, making sure he was stocked with ammunition. After that he made sure the bag was prepared with clothes, rations, and other gear. Once done, he nodded zipping the duffle bag up, placing it directly next to the door. All he needed to do was grab his bag and head to the garage and he was ready for a contract. It was early morning and Vivian had flown back in timezones. It was understandable to Felix that she wanted to sleep, as long as she was ready for their next assignment.

He paused, looking out the window when sure enough the laptop vibrated on his desk. He rushed over to the bureau, flipping it open. There was an email from command. He double clicked the link, bringing up the briefing for their next mission:

By this now, Felix dozed off a dozen times, wasting the day away. He acclimated to the change in time, which jet lagged his body and mind. At 0700 hours the following day, Felix lay awake in his bed. His vision drifting to the ceiling above him, brushed in circles with a rough edge to create a textured pattern, he tried to find the beginning of pattern. His military-grade wrist-watch began to buzz on and off. Felix knew what was on the agenda. It was a normal day of work in the company. Track, locate, and kill a target. Death didn't phase Felix anymore.

Three years prior, he received a call from his brother while on assignment in South Africa. Felix's brother informed him that his mother had died the night before in her sleep. She was battling cancer for over a year, and Felix never once found the time to stop in and say his final respects. When his mother finally passed, Felix was unphased. He didn't lose sleep. His final response to his brother, was. "Okay, good luck." Those words rang with Felix for the rest of his life.

As he snapped out of his day-dream, he swung his feet to the floor. Felix was ready to go as he had never undressed from the night prior. He sat himself up, placing his combat boots onto the hard tile before him. He reached into his pocket, pulling out the car keys to the company supplied sedan. He held the lock and unlock button, starting the engine from above the garage, standing u p as he did so. Felix knelt down between the solid oak bureau and his bed to grab the black duffle bag that lay beside the bureau. As he stood, Felix swung the bag containing his MP5 around his shoulder.

Felix twists the doorknob slightly, pulling it open as he quietly shuffled out of his roof. There was not a sound with his step, a common practice for him. He twisted the doorknob as he shut the door to do so in a fashion that would not alert Vivian in the room across his. Felix slowly crept over to the door separating himself and sleeping beauty. He pounded on her door, quickler then a rapid firing machine gun. "Get up V!" He exclaimed... "It's time to go!"
