With haste Calliope took to this new opposition, in the heat of battle she knew that her own senses were not as attuned as they used to. She felt light headed, and dizzy with every motion but she would not faulter in her actions. Slowly she was able to watch her own motions, a full bound about fifteen feet in the air, a short leap. Back handing with her left gauntlet a Graveborn elites helmet shattered as she revealed the tyrant blade and gutting him as she touched down. Ducking Calliope cleaved with the blade at another's legs, he jumped, and rolled over Calliope's back. Two bullets ricochetted off her back, as she whipped backwards extending her leg out. Catching his gut she spun from facing him with her back to put him abreast to her. Driving her knee up in the same motion the front visor of the Graveborn's helmet shattered and broke off the bottom jaw of the helmet. Calliope drove the tyrant blade out and into the man's gut still suspended in air. An upwards cleave dropped the graveborn to a quick death. This side of the hangar was near empty except these two patroling. The traitors must of been moving ahead cuttin these areas with short patrols. All Calliope needed to do was catch their front from the rear, and lead way for her own forces to push into them. Her Invisionary Marines still moved about free on the ship, they weren't called to arms yet. As much as she had prided the Tainted Saints on the Invisionary Marine she was reluctant to let them fight. The two highest classed invisionaries were Broken Arrow factioned Marines meant for operations, and insertions. Tainted Saints Invisionary Marines were the assasination units, lacking human empathy they obeyed. Unlike the freedom given to Broken Arrow Invisionaries.

Calliope adjusted herself as she felt the ship rock. Her gut went cold like a chill of ice that ate at her and froze her legs, throat dry and unable to feel herself something stirred. Was it time, no it could not be, a slight flash of light shined in her mind a searing flame and a voice of pure serene, yet strong and unhindered in it's own. Calliope felt it the new age was coming. Her chest felt heavy as she took a deep breath, the air thickened around her and she could not force herself to move. A burst of flame had become apparent infront of her as it seared the floor, stalking towards her Calliope. It set to a body of bearing the Armour of the Purefire. Heavy clad white armour with flames licking at the air in every which way. The floor singed black below him, as he positioned his horn up. Two eyehole in his helmet met hers and spoke of the coming age. This was impossible, bound by death the Purefire could not materialize nor touch the world untill his time of rebirth. Wide eyed Calliope felt a cold sweat move down her thighs in her tyrant class amour. The thing spoke, "One of the offspring of one bound by blood to the Purefire, your time will come to be acknowledged as a slayer of your kin, as it has been written by me alone..." The thing waited as if hoping a response when it knew none would come it continued. "Your fate will drive you to cast a shadow over the Pureness that has been created here. You are a scourge, yet I allow you to exist because it is written that way. You control nothing and everything. One of original Xiriourian blood you will defeat the good in this creation of mine, and none will stop you. Like a thread woven into a fabric of time there is no undoing you nor is there the time to remove you. Heed these words in what life left you live, redemption comes with pain and yours will be as painful as a thousand sons come avenge their father. Only a star moving faster than your sword, and a passion brighter than my eternal flame will stop you." With that it disappeared, and burned a path for a few feet in the ground where the it may have stepped out of existance. Regrouping calliope nearly felt herself vomit, but held it back knowing it would show weakness. An echo of a voice came back "Only a shadow can defeat the light, and only a dawning star can deafeat the shadow, beware those who are lost at heart...." the voice cut, and nerve racked Calliope. That was a vision of the Purefire, a vision seen by none except Matthew Rostovtseva, was she the next person who's body he would take. A host meant death without a way to overcome it, but it also meant she had a purpose. A shadow over the light, and only to be stopped by a star. She was shaken now, mind back in motion she moved. That vision would haunt her untill there was time to deal with it. Heavy clacking of Metal boots against the floor resounded as she put herself in motion; her men could not hold out for long.

Under New Management

The ship rocked, and pitched something was a stirring on the Whrilwind. Whatever it was Gallias took hint of this, moving to the armoury on the bridge he walked in alone. On a rack sat his fresh Tyrant class armor still awaiting his use. With his age that armor gave him new light to his body, and the performance of his younger days. The bridge had been sealed off, the entire section of the ship was blocked off now. How the infestation made it this far, although their journey did not start far from Gallias' bridge was remarkable none the less. Such a horrid species would dare come this close to him and his men, this left a bitter taste at the back of his throat; no hacking it up he left it there, and would not care for it as much as this. Weapons fire from outside sounded, the veteran guard were hopelessly outnumbered, but they would persist. As Gallias stepped out of the armoury in his Tyrant Class armour two lines of twenty men lined the door, the guards from outside had moved into the bridge, guns aimed high at the blast door. A slight creak of the door sounded, and then a horrid echoed scream that bit at the mind.

Waliking between both rows of Gallias revealed his blade as the door began to seep from the bottom a gelatinous green goo. "This is Admiral Gallias to transport command I have personel on the bridge, beam them off." A slight protest surfaced on everyone even Nova, as they flashed white and off the bridge. No time given for them to make a statement or a defense to stay. Alone Gallias set the blade pointed down at the floor, and rested his hands on the hilt. The blast door sundered as he watched a piece splinter off before him, a near rotted hand and toothless face looked at him craving the flesh under the plate. As Gallias watched this a slight buzzing sounded on his right wrist, the Chasity Gun was ready. Immediately the Blastdoor swung open like a swing broken on either end. Dozens spilled into the room as Gallias watched them hiss, and howl for blood. Their kind was not welcome here, Lifting his wrist a jolt of chasity rounds sprayed the fiends, flesh and blood spraying as they echoed for life once more; but knew it would not come. Sweeping to the side he kept fire on the door, as the chasity weapon was lowing on rounds. The built in wrist gun kept them at bay forcing them to wait it out. The buzzing stopped as a mound of smoking corpses laid before him, and scattered on his bridge. Backing himself up Gallias was standing next to his warboard, as the first one charged.

Cleaving upwards he split the torso, but it did not stop. The heavy flesh hit his plate armor as he slashed out splitting the creature horizontally through it's middle. Another came around that one, kicking out Gallias stopped it's attack, gouging into it he pulled out the blade, and swung diagonally cutting from limb to toe. They kept rushing him, in a mad fury Gallias put his blade through new flesh with every swing, and cleave. with a spinning strike his blade caught the torso's of four abominations, as he cleave kicked into another to drop the creature. They were not hurting him, but their heavy hits were pushing him back. If he was cornered he would not beable to fight back, giving them the chance to find a weakness and possibly tear at the metal. Another body blow pushed gallias back, another, and his blade wedged itself into bone, and his left handed gauntlet stuck in flesh. Swinging with his right something piled on it and disallowed it's movement. With a clipping tackle one of the creatures had over turned him on to his back, a vulnerable position. Bending his legs up the thing crumpled as Gallias kicked in his leg jets and burn flesh and setting the creature temporarily ablaze. As it rested on his thigh they were piling on him as massive pile of flesh trying to crush him, and find death in his eyes. A flesh exposed face with a sickening blood gurgling look pressed into his visor, it started to crack now. The Blast visor fell into place a slight finger cut off through the glass visor into his helmet. As that fleshed finger setteled on his chin it sickend him. On the inner section of the helmet two small extending rods proded at the finger, and pushed it to the top. The finger was put into a compartment at the top of the helmet, and sectioned off as it made it's way being pushed out section by section. The wieght was too much now, Gallias was pinned.

This was not the end, but new start to the Admiral. A bright light flashed as a figure danced among the abominations. Unaware of what was going on Gallias felt the weight on him leave as the suit adjusted to compensate for a large heat spike on the exterior. The weight was near gone as Gallias watched his visor open without command. A figure of fire, and a haze of eternity wathced him. What ever this was it left ash were those abominations held over. With his movement a haze of white fire moved with him, and with ever step he seemed to out do a star. "Gallias Roden Zangetsu, your line is tainted...." The voice boomed, and strengthed his will, but it also had an effect that chilled Gallias' bones. "Your time for power will end... not by my choosing but by those who are of worthy blood.." Gallias could not speak as a lump in his throat prevented him, "The search will begin soon, you must allow the essence of the Fray to take hold of you or neglect your duties to the Tri-." Eyes wide he watched as the figure strolled over to the Warboard and intiated the netwide command, "I will show your people the way... There is a section of the void.. Called the 'Aurora Aeternum.. there you will find the Pura system.. a section of time where the Purefire gained his power." As it hit the keys not looking or concerned it sent the message.

<The new age is here, the Pure, the Perfect, the Chaste, and the Holy. Go forth and seek the Aeternum system.> with it followed coordinates. What ever this was it was sending word to the people, but the coordinates it sent were not that of an area in recent Tri-Alliance space. It set coordinates to an area abandoned, left behind after the "Battle of the Star' or the War that began the birth of the Alliance. This area reached out near forty two hundred light years away, an easy jump with the right coordinates.. Still, a Gallias tried to give protest his throat seared and disallowed him the right to choke on the pain.

"This is not your time to question, in time." The booming voice cut as the figure disappeared. That message was sent all across the Tri-Alliance Millitary. Gallias' recovery process would be slow, as he felt a burden of haze cover his eyes, and ease his mind into a pitch black

(This is where you come in rugged, as Captain Lance Gladius, being that you believe that the message was intended as a way to send you on a mission. And it will tie in when I make another post with Gallias. So feel free to post what you want in reponse to the situation)

The screen dissolved into the gentle static, the endless song of the stars themselves.
Silence settled about the bridge, no-one quite sure what to make of what they'd just seen.
It so happened that Ulla had been on duty when it had started, and the Captain had jumped from his quaters immediately when she patched him in.
His scarlet uniform was unbuttoned and far from straight, but at least his more private portions were covered (not bad at all, for 20 seconds worth of getting dressed).

Her deep blue eyes were the first to look his way from her station, just left of his central chair on the bridge.
The rest soon followed.

Well... it looks like we have our mission

It was obviously genuine - anything that could spread a message so quickly and on the secure channels everyone would be watching was definitely too powerfull not to be taken seriously.

He let a determined look sweep over his face, which, together with his scruffy hair and half-put-on-clothes, could have looked more than alittle menacing.
The dimly lit room's atmosphere thickened yet more and people nodded in comprehension.

Ulla, get me a line to our fleet

She nodded, smiling at some joke that had passed the Captain by.
As he puzzled over it, she projected his image to every ship in his moderately portioned Fleet.
With his shirt unbuttoned.

Captains, Crews... it's time now for our maiden voyage to take place.
I know you've never sailed under me before, but the message we've just witnessed is of supreme importance to the higher Admiralty.

His voice was strong, commanding... alittle rhaspy and perhaps an octave higher than the cliche commander's voice, but perfectly well suited to speaches nonetheless.

We go, in search of whatever this power speaks of.
Let us hope that our courage and determination will be enough to win through.

As he cut the transmission, he looked briefly towards Mr Vomstien, the pale, ill-begotten pilot he relied on so often in training excersizes.

You have our destination's co-ordinates - punch them in and get Alex to get us up to cruising speed in that direction.

He nodded, immediately starting to open a CC channel to Alexi Adrellous, chief engineer of The Rapier's drive systems.

Ulla was already relaying commands to the rest of the fleet to follow up.
It was at about this point that Admiral Gladius realised that he'd made his first major appearance to his fleet barely clothed.
A blushing Admiral made his way back to his quaters to get the other half of his night's sleep as the gentle reverberating hum of a Warp Drive began to echo through the Hull.

The Tri-Alliance sparked now with reports of the Rebirth of the lord savior Purefire, this set into motion the new age of death, and allignment. The Broken Arrows, the Tainted Saints, and the Metalloids. Whichever would reach the rebirth place first would be in the graces and at the direct command of the Purefire. An oppertunity that would show a factions devotion to the Lord Savior.

Aeternum Quadrant

The Tainted Saints awaited this day knowing what would come of it, and how it should be handled. Word to the Invisionary Teams was sent out and the call to arms was out. How far they would go to be in the power of him was not a question of distance, but their loyalty to the Alliance. Dagger Cruisers lifted and Chaos cruisers made their way to the Aeternum Quadrant, the new hopes of finding this Purefire. There the fleets would be unable to contact the Home system unless they jumped back. Still it took a lot of resources to move that far beyond Tri-Alliance territory. Four fleets were already on course from Toufrest to the Aeternum Quadrant, the fleets were ready to fight as fleets assigned buffer areas. The Broken Arrows were not present yet, but they would soon arrive. In Wait Fleets Gallian, the just recovered Fleet Zalik, Fleet Leigh, and the just recovered fleet Black. A first strike fleet in the Aeternum Quadrant.

As Exteria sat behind the Fleets of the Tainted Saints long range scanning began to process the planet, picking up areas of the planet of high Trinium Concentrations. Maybe a mineral planet but not likely. A single fleet jumped in starboard of the Tainted Saint's fleets. High Construct Xaphine of the Metalloids, his fleet only bolstered an amount of five crescent cruisers, eight pillar cruisers, three Trinity cruisers and sixteen thousand undocked support craft. The fleet was small in comparison to the Tainted Saint's fleet, and would not serve the Metalloids well if they were in conflict now. Startled the Metalloid fleet gave hint to the Tainted Saints their weapons were charged as the Tainted Saints fleet came about looking the Metalloids fleet face to face. Xaphine was on a line now, "Tainted Saints you have come to discover this place as well..." the moment of silence tensed, as the Metalloids began reading Weapons charge, and distorted readings of Energy Shielding going up, "Do not be rash, if you strike us you bring only the wrath of the Alliance against you...."

A slew of energy volley cannons poured out across the distance of two hundred thousand kilometers, the volley weapons were moving fast as the Metalloids began to compensate for the weapons fire. Lands cannons opened up on the Tainted Saints. As the energy volley cannons hit, three of the five creascent cruisers lost shielding, and watched as the Tainted saints jumped. A lone of Chaos Cruisers lined came across the Metalloid's backs, as Dagger cruisers jumped in on the portside flanks. Fussion warheads and Chasity turret rounds spilled into the metalloid fleet as they were to slow to react to the attack. Twp Trinity Cruisers split across their circlular design, as the pillar cruisers nova'd before being able to detonate. Rupture fighters were already gaining superiority over the crash fighters as they struggled to keep up. The flag ship Arcanius Showed it's weakness all fighters were fully committed, and system going down. Tainted Saints chasity turrets tore at the Trinity Flasgship cruiser, as two energy volley rounds errupted from the tainted Saints fleet the High Construct was slain. The last squadron of Crash fighters were gunned down as the final Creascent cruiser spilled the last of it's hundred of missles into the battlefield. A slight explosion errupted from it's back as it chained splitting metal. The Metalloids were defeated here. As the Tainted Saints held ground no communication made it back to the Tri-System, the distance too great for a single message to get to.

As the bridge returned to normal after the incident with the demon spawns of the Zeta Quadrant Gallias was back assuming command only hours after it had all happened. As he assumed command again he watched as his fleet recovered from the attack, they had driffted to close to the Repair Station which had caused the Demons to make way to make contact with the ship itself. Only a Prosecutor class destroyer was lost to this event, but still Gallias spat at the thought. With a white heavily weaved casing around his neck, it made things hard to talk as well as breath at that. Large burns on the outside of his neck were apparent when he removed the helmet and neck guard of his Tyrant Armor. Only wincing every now and then to give orders he walked about slowly when he had too. His seat at the midsection of the bridge was still near new, as he rarely used it. Now it seemed he was just weakend to stand an entire day like he normally would, he seemed tired of something and he would not reveal his truths, but his eyes turned a cold blue now that spoke of weariness, and loss of something bound to him. As Gallias' fingers moved across a holopanel he was giving orders, and command through messaging he had just about given up on trying to talk with the pain. The pain suppressants were of no use, this burn was made from something worse than fire.

As Gallias typed his commands he sent out three specific ones, to Admiral Stukov, Captain Lance Gladius, and the Fleet of three. The co-ordinates sent from the apparition of fire spoke of a place far from Tri-Alliance space, an abandoned system. His word sent that they were going to be the first there, the Flagships Darya II, Dasha II, and the Rostovtseva II of the Fleet of the Three would be accompanying Admiral Stukov, and Captain Lance Gladius. The wording sent that they would be the only ones going in first, Admiral Cuendillar was the first to respond to the call but was now currently out of contact, otherwards missing in action. Fleet Cuendillar was an essential fleet to the Broken Arrow's offensive lines. Wherever he was Gallias needed to get a hold of him. He only feared that Cuendillar had not gotten to the Aeternum System first before any other fleets had gone. As Gallias continued to finish his messages he wacthed as an officer scrambled across the floor to the flight command. Current reports of Gauss Fighters scouting around the station were coming in, although Fleet Gallias had moved out of visible range of the Station. Reports of huge masses of frozen creatures had tried making it off the station, but were unable to move pass their slow drift speeds. As Gallias finished he sent an ending on the message to the Three Fleets he had contacted, "Take heart and find the place of rebirth.

Starring back at his chair Gallias glanced off as Nova was missing from her place on the guards pad, in fact his entire body guard unit was gone. Sirhan was the only one sitting there alone starring off at a wall. The front of the bridge opend as Gui came in to sit next to Sirhan but that left the others nowhere to be found. Gallias took his mind off this, they were probably patrolling somehwere unbeknownst to him. A failure had occured in the third Railgun, one of the magnets had cracked and the entire section blew apart from the underbelly of the ship. As Gallias looked about again the Flagship Purefire was drifting next to the Whirlwind, as he walked to a side wall he watched as the Flagship Purefire moved away, and returned to sit facing in the direction of the Repair station. Gallias sent out a message this time a voiced message to Hyperion, the planet of the Council. After the Death of High Councilor PureDragon on the Purifier to the hands of calliope and her Tyrant Guards his Defiler Class marines were stationed on the Planet Hyperion to defend the inner sanctums releaving the tyrants of this task. A task long held by the Tyrant Honor Guard.

Built to serve the council the Tyrants of Honor what was left of thier posistion had protested against this change, on the verge of going into combat with the Defiler Marines they let the issue dropp, out manned one to five; the Twenty honor guards had taken their new position defending the Outer sanctums of the concil or lining the hallway kneeled to serve. As Gallias was on com with the Council his words were talked about in Private he had requested the use of Defiler Class Marines, and Tyrants of the Honor Gurads to accompany his fleets in the search for the Purefire. His position to have half the honor guard, and a squad of defilers committed were turned down, but he was leased a single Defiler Marine, and a two man squad of the Honor Guard. Defiler Guilden Flight, or the Flight of Gold was assigned to Gallias Command. As well as Tyrant Justicar, and Tyrant Lunarcreascent were also assigned to his command. Gallias had already sent word that Tyrants Warstar and Tyrant Divine were on their way to replace the ones from the honor guard but that proposal was turned down being that they were his personal body guards and would not be acceptted into the Honor Guard. Message was sent to Captain Gladius to pick up the three in the Beta Qaudrant Repair station Beta-Kilo before leaving to the Aeternum system. As Gallias had finished talking his throat burned, and bited him with pain as he was handed a thicker form of water to soothe his throat. This only helped slightly, the pain would stay with him for awhile. Gallias reared in to sit in his chair as Nova, walked in geared and ready. Alina Lipcan, and Micheal Moebius had yet to make it to the Whirlwind, but she was eager than ever as she dat at her pad. Sighing Gallias watched the view screen thinking of his next move.

Anderson stared out into space. His XO walked up to him, "Sir, diagnostics check finished. We found nothing wrong. We ddi a full scans, Shields are up 100%, no hull damage. We have the green light for service action. Anderson nodded wearily still staring out into the blackness, "Very Well...thank you, Major Reggero. Kyle sighed as the beeping and other sounds fileld the bridge although he did tune them out. All he did let in was the soothing faint hum of the engines. He turned around and started to say, "I'll be in my quarters if you ne-" Just then a message indicator went off. He walked over and brought it up on the screen:

The new age is here, the Pure, the Perfect, the Chaste, and the Holy. Go forth and seek the Aeternum system.

Kyle read it slowly and mouthed the words. He looked around the bridge for a moment and then ressed a few buttons. The computer rang out, "Verification comfirmed. Message is authentic."

Kyle sighed, "What would we have to do in the Aeternum system?" He rubbed it off, "Major. Order the fleet battle ready, full shields, full speed ahead. Prepare a jump to these co-ordinates, " he handed a peice of paper to him, "Contact any other fleets heading to the system, let them know they have friendlies coming in." Kyle pressed a few buttons on his station and organized a formation. The bridge scampered with activity now. He stood by idley. Meanwhile, the Integra Sheppel stayed on course as the PureBlitz moved behind it but above it. The other Twilight Crusiers got on either side of the Integra but below. The formation was one more for looks then combat. Kyle didn't expect any immediate contact anyway.

Kyle wondered in his head why a message was mass sent to all Tri-Alliance armed forces as the Major replied, "Aye, Admiral," and repeated the orders to the appropraite people. After a few minutes, Kyle came out of his trance from his XO's voice, "Sir. Fleet Battle Ready, Jump Prepared, Co-ordinates Locked, We found a Broken Arrow Fleet making it's madian voyage to the system. The message was sent and your desired formation is acheived." Kyle looked at him and smiled, "Thank You." He sat down, "Jump Warning." The XO walked over to a button and pressed it 3 hard times making blue lights go off everyone, "Attention all military personall, brace yourself for a jump sequance." Kyle gave them a good 10 seconds or so to prepare and looked up, "OK...Execute." The blur in front of him soon followed.

Meanwhile, the message to Captain Gladius was sent:

---BEGIN TRANSMISSION--- Attention Fleet Gladius. It has come to our atetnion you are en route to the Aeternum system. This message is forewarning of a friendly fleet in the area. It will rendevous with you in the system at least temporarily. May the Tri be with you. ~ Admiral Anderson ---END TRANSMISSION---

arrow Aurora Aeternum System

The second Wind continued it's patrol of the Aeternum System entrance, the fleets of the Tainted Saints were salvaging the pieces from the Metalloid weapons and armour or what was left of the ravaged Metalloid fleet. Gallian was committing his fighters to patrols now his older squadrons of fighters were replaced with the new and improved Rupture Kerwyn Fighters, with heavier repeating Mobile chasity guns, and pursuit Chasity Missles. The planet had yet to be touched by the Tainted Saints, they were still mobilizing their forces into the appropriate search teams. Everyone on Gallian's ship had been so eager to set out and search the planet they had already suited up while Fleet Black had jumped, and then moved to their positions when combat was declared with the Metalloid fleet. As Gallian turned his head to the screen to face Admiral Black, Admiral Zalik, and Admiral Leigh, "It was for the intrest of the Tainted Saints command that we deny that filth of a race to explore thie blessed sector of unexplored space!"

Admiral Black was turning red now, "Commander! You are out of line it was not your position to open fire upon the Metalloid command! They will tear our ships from it's own trinium to have your head, and none the less ours' as well! You wi-"

Admiral Leigh interrupted the higher ranked Admiral only making his face turn a bright cherry, "Admiral Black calm down, you know our fleet is here to reclaim our lost worlds. As we know this was the birth place of the Tainted Saints before the forsakens attacked our home worlds, and decimated this system. The Broken Arrows would disallow us to take this system in our rites to redeem our own race." Admiral Leigh easied a bit as Admiral Black did too, "In any case there is no turning back now, if we turn back now and right our wrong we will lose the sight of what we are hoping to achieve here, and the Metalloids would declare war on our race, and they would have the backing of the Broken Arrows."

Admiral Leigh was right, but Gallian saw this diffrently, " this is our time to reclaim what we have lost, if we hold this sector and disallow the entry of anyone else not of Tainted Saints origin we can establish a beachhead here, as you all know we can only jump one fleet at a time to the same co-ordinates to make sure they do not jump insde each other, I'm guessing the Broken Arrows would of thought the same. We can eliminate their fleets one by one and stop them from entering this system. As well as we have tried to send a long range communication to Toufrest, and it was never responded to. There surely is no chance of their escape." Gallian wore a smile now as he looked out to see the expression on the other's faces.

Admiral Black was turned and making motions to his Combat Command, as they moved quickly to put up a screen of the Currently discovered system, "You are in truth right about this Gallian, but do not follow so much in the step of Admiral Calliope to chance another break in the Alliance, I will not allow you to lay fire upon a Broken Arrow fleet, they are our brothers. They gave us refuge when the forsaken destroyed our home worlds generations ago, as well as providing us with an induction into the Pure Clan. Their abilities should not be underestimated. Remember the tactic we use was dev-"

Admiral Leigh cut in again, "You must remember that they not only betrayed us in the War of the Seven Trhones to support a false idol this Purefire Reborn, Mathias Rostovtseva. They turned against us and followed him into battle under his word, another chance to silence us and take back what they gave as a gift to us. They follow a false idol and we embrace it to please the Clan, and Council. I would deny any Broken Arrow the right to redeem himself for that, one who believes so falsely will burn in his own rightgeous fire. They a s-"

"Enough of this I will not hear anymore!" Admiral Zalik had heard enough of this, "They are our brothers you will not fire upon them! Or may the Council smite where you stand. You must remember again Admiral leigh we killed a High Councilor even it was not our hands, but we all followed High ADmiral Calliope as she slayed him on her own ship. We are lucky that we are not all on the Prison World or New Earth for that fault! The Broken Arrows gave sponsor to us even though they knew we wronged the Pure Clan, The Raven's branch could of had our entire command elimnated months ago... But they vouched to spare our lives in light of the Alliance. They have offered us more than we have thanked for. Th-"

"Hold your tongue Harmon Zalik!" Admiral Leigh turned to face him on the screen, "You would throw yourself into the fray to save those washboard scag! You hold not the will of the Tainted Saints anymore, you knew from the begining that securing our own right to live was more important than acknowldging the Alliance." Admiral Black's heavy beard was turned down now, at a frown he was not pleased with this. "Zalik you are should turn back to the Tri-System!"

Admiral Black was cutting in now, "Leigh as an order of command you will not speak of such treachery, it is poison to hear you!" calming down admiral Black continued, "Now we will not fight on this issue, the Broken Arrows are our Allies if we open fire upon them now we will lose the help we will need to secure this quadrant from the Forsaken's wrath shall they return if they lie in wait for us." Looking Gallian now, "Commander Gallian you are right about the tactic to hold back any nuisance but it is not time for that, as much as I would like to adress my point about the Broken Arrows we have a duty to trust them long enough to secure our home system. As well if we beat them to this so called 'Purefire' we may be able to push them to our command."

On the verge of outrage Admiral Leigh calmed himself, "Admiral Black you are right the Broken Arrows are to valueble at this time to throw away, but may I suggest that we come up with a plan shall they turn on us first to seek the Purefire?"

"By all means Ivanska Leigh, you are a great Admiral I will not deny that, but you must take precaution on your words, the Broken Arrows do have spies among us. Whether is may be me or one of you, i suggest give hint to no one of your plan, and the rest of you take caution the Broken Arrows are none to be trifled with, they carry the Pure Clan with them." Looking at his screen, "Now that that is out of the way the new Thetanaught the 'Will of the Saints' will be on it's way as it should of been completed hours ago in orbit around Tourfrest. So expect it here to back us up shall we seek an enemy we cannot fight." The other accepted this word from Admiral Black as they waited for a second word. 'We will begining the ground expedition in eight hours make sure all your mobilizations are complete by then. We will talk again at a later time." The screens all went out as Gallian stood there looking at a blac screen that switched to the image of space. Sighin ghe turned and pressed against his command board and leaned over it yawning.

"Gallian are you okay?" A senior watch officer moved towards him, but stopped as something rang out to call him towards it.

Moving to his mic Gallian set on the wireless headset, "This is Commander Gallian Messaging Fleet Gallian, prepare to mobilze all ground forces will be going Planet Side soon to EXteria." The ship scrambled with movement now, the moment had come to finally explore the planet.

Training the Worlds Best

During the voyage out from their home system, the Rapier and Captian Gladius' little fleet had been busy preparing themselves for whatever might be required of them.
Going faster than light, obviously, conventional sensory technology would have been rediculous (if particles could interact with them, they'd collide with an infinite energy... which got to be rather confusing when a simple-minded Captain thinks of it), but they modelled what they were likely to expect.
Databanks said it was a Planet - breathable Atmosphere and 1 g, as most Planets curiously tended to be in this part of the Galaxy...
A small contingent of armed forces resided in this and a few of the other vessels in Gladius' Navy.
More importantly, they had Flying Crowbars produced specifically at Gladius' request stacked in their hundreds of thousands in the cargo bays.
(The requisitions officer in charge of that, he imagined, would have looked very confused when the order was sent to him...
the thought ammused the Captian somewhat.
Not knowing how to fight isn't a luxury a Captain can afford).

They'd no doubt be doing some planetary exploration, so he wasn't about to go in unprepared.

Erm, Sir...

The Captian's communications officer gently moved him from his daydreamings.

...Yes, ensign?

We have a message from Admiral Anderson reguarding the prescense of his fleet in the volume of space we're gonna be dropping out of.

He nodded.
Fair enough... but I wonder who else has answered this calling?

His pilot had informed him a few minutes previous that we were due to drop into normal space in an hour or so.
This could be most interesting.

Intermission -

((I am sorry for this spot of OOC, but between the intermission and actual events seems as good a place as any.

I will still be inside Alucard's Ship, and will post if need be. Anderson - or anyone for that matter - may contact me if my turn comes up. I don't know how many times I will have to check, and I should have a little more time during summer. (I will probably be working at Gamestop, and have Summer School to take Health, which I never took and is required for some reason...although I took Biology.) So, If I am needed to post, send me a PM, an Xbox Live Message, or anything to get me to come here when my turn is up.))

As Nova set it to her, she knew who Calliope was an Admiral and slayer of the PureBlueDragon, Storm Harbringer brother to Tempest the Warbringer. Moving her gauss rifle to her lower back, she fingered the barrel of her sidearm, slowly moving her fingers from one end to the other eye watching her own movements on the weapon. Gallias laid to her right unable to talk, since his collapse on the bridge. His throat seared with an unquenchable thirst. As her cold icy eyes looked about Gallias in his bed vulnerable she went back to her gun, and adjusted her breastplate. Waking to the sound of the sidearm cocking back Gallias gazed at Nova unconcerned about what she was doing, he was only able to speak a rasp "Darya...."

With a quick glare Nova stared him into submission "Your not to talk, untill that wound is healed." She eyed her gun, then back to Gallias, "We have pulled out of the Quadrant untill you are well." Placing in her support lines into the back of her gauntlets Nova replaced the side arm on her thigh. "Alina, and Moebius are here... we will begin the operation start when the Purifier drops out into the Zeta Quadrant, us and a single ricochet transport will be waiting." Almost with a heavy look Nova sighed at Gallias, and near turned before he spoke.

"Do not fight for him.. when he returns he...." blood surfaced on the bandages as he coughed, and tried again, "He.. will not be the sam-" as his eyes rolled up he passed into the veil, the searing on his throat was diffrent than a normal flesh breaking burn, but it made sure he could not speak of the Alliance and his duties. Nova walked away not thinking more on the subject, but her mission at hand, she passed out of the room and towards her own. As Nova walked into the room Alina was just squeezing into her suit as she was closing the lowers, and getting ready to start her arm in one side. Her dark Blonde hair dropped just a few centimeters over her shoulders. Nova eyed her a second, she had a fuller chest than she did; not that she cared but she gave notice it had been years since they had seen one another. Alina smiled, and pulled her arms through the skin tight suit, and used a heat sealant to close the front of her suit, making it look like skin itself. As she reached for her breastplate on the bench, the small room felt crowded with the two of them. Alina's brown eyes looked at the breastplate, the same near black bluish as her suit.

"You know Dasha, I can not remember when these suits did not feel like we went into combat naked, or feeling so tightened in these." Alina turned the breastplate over her back, and closed the latchs over her breast, a tight fit but she was able to push her chest down so It did not look about to pop out of the plate armor. "So your still in the service of the Tri? Well that was obvious, but you know."

"Alina it has been years, how have you been?"

"I should ask you, are you still weeping inside over him?" Alina gave a slight yelp as she pinched her lowards putting the crotch plate over.

"Yes I still weep for his loss, but he is almost here." With a slight smile coming over her lips, Alina perched a smile to satisfy Nova. "So Alina, how was your... well what your life back on the homeworld."

"What do you mean?" Alina looked quizical at Nova.

"How was life on Xiriour."

"I haven't been to Xiriour in three years.. "

"What? then where have you been? I was told you retired."

"Oh, yes I retired from Gallias' command." Looking down now with her hands on her hips. The skin tight suit made her figure look smoother and cleanier than in the uniform she came on the ship in. "I had lost too much here under Gallias' command, and I needed to leave. I was serving as an honor guard under the Metalloid command of the Beta Quadrant."

"SO you still miss him then...." Nova embraced the War of the Thrones again, where she had lost him the first time. Mathias, and Alina had shared a moment in lust when the ends were near before the planet Gorullian fell to Tri-Alliance siezure of the planet. That moment of lust had twisted Alina's mind in that war giving her hope to seek someone who was not hers. Now Nova knew she still held on to that, so close to someone just to watch them leave. "Then it is good we are still friends Alina, you can not give up on the past. But you know as well as I do you will not be able to hold him."

"I don't care to share a moment of flesh with him again, but it would soothe my mind to know he will live when the time comes of rebirth." With a cold glare Alina strapped her Guass, and hurrican to her back. "but we will see how things go." The door opened again as Moebius slung his Canister rifle over his shoulder, and eyed Nova, then Alina.

"I sure do not miss this." Moebius had changed over the years since he had married, although cursing Mathias Rostovtseva for having Dasha he had found someone of his own. From the big silent hard browed fighter Moebius had loosed over the years after the War of the Thrones. "Alina the last time I saw you, your body was kicking and it still is..." Turning to Nova he lifted an eyebrow, "And you, still got that tigh-" with a snap kick backwards Nova kicked him at a ninety degree angle in the jaw almost biting the tip of his tongue off, "Oh good one..." Moebius crumpled to the floor for a second clenching his lower jaw, then shaking it off. "I was gonna say tight-"

"a**?" Nova starred at him on the floor as he reached out to the wall to pull himself up.

"Along those lines, but more of having a 'tight a** attitude'" with that Nova smiled and lifted her gauntlet to his head to push him out of the way. Quickly Moebius grabbed her wrist and reached to pull her down by the thigh. A slight shift in Nova's movement allowed her to push him off as he sweeped under her knocking her to the ground. As Moebius picked up Nova to toss her out of the room, Alina jumped on his back covering his head with her forearm. The three of them flailed out into the hallway knocking into the wall side, as Nova clutched on Moebius's arms to keep him from throwing her. Riodin, Gallias' ExO walked into the hallway looking at a report, he stopped at the sight of this and tipped his hat up. With a disgusted look he watched Alina shove push Moebius' head into the cold floor, and Nova hold him upside down to accept the floor as his maiden. Looking off down the hallway Nova saw Riodin, he would report this is he got the chance to, and Gallias was in no condition to be disturbed.

Riodin Looked on the verge to run as Nova set one leg back to chase. Nova ran at him, throwing the metal clipboard at her he broke into a sprint losing his hat at the turn. Skidding across the floor his flat bottomed shoes carried him around the corner. As Nova grabbed on to the wall she threw herself off it and closer to him, swingi his arms to grab anything to pull himself ahead further Nova lunged out tackling him to the floor. "Your not gonna tell Gallias are you Riodin?" A wicked smile came over Nova's face now.

"uh.. Guards!" Calling the security on someone he knew meant he was scared of what she would do. Still on his stomach Nova stretched a piece of elastic rubber over his mouth and drug him off by his heels. The wide eyed ExO struggled to break free, as Alina lifted him with Nova's help into her storage Locker in the small room.

Moebius was hanging upside down now, next to the locker bound by three diffrent types of robe, and Alina's torn uniform sleeve gagging him. "Shall we get some food Alina?"

"I believe so." Walking arm in arm the two of them left the room. The team was back again.

Everybody was in place - after a quick stop on the dark edges of the target system, near where the equivalent of it's "Oort Cloud" should be, everyone had switched to their Hyperlite drives and jumped further in system.
Hopefully they should make it to somewhere a few hundred thousand kilometers about the target World (which is a nice distance - pleanty of space to get to the right Orbital Speed to hold a steady Orbit).
Instantaniously, the void parted to let the fleet of colossal metallic structures move back into the material realm.
Endless decks of guns and machines outscaled the crew by such immensity that not a single living being aboard would register as even a speck compared to their ships.

Admiral Gladius sighed.

It is a foul time indeed when a man's life can mean so little as the millions that scurry across my ships...
He thought, looking abscently out at the twinkling little world and the stars.
But then... when was this ever not the case?

Sir... looks like we're here.

Oh. So we are.

Very good - what does it look like in orbit over that thing, ensign?

Wow.... 4 Fleets in relatively high orbit... Tainted Saints, Broken Arrows... heavily armed, lots of shields and guns...
I recomend we tread carefully here, Sir - there's no telling if our Alliance will hold in these circumstances.

Tthe Admiral cocked his head alittle to the side.
I dispute that comflict would be possible here if they're all with the Tri Alliance

Sir... I think you should look at this...

Arkas, weapons co-ordinator - 8 or 9 centimeters of deep brown hair clustered naturally into bangs over a tanned complexion.
The voice was deep, experienced...
Getting up and moving to the ensign's monitor, Admiral Gladius was confused at prescisely why he should be looking.

A debris field.

Some large chunks remaining, but mostly solidified droplets of Metal... we aren't nearly close enough to analyse the spectra from the Cosmic X Rays they interact with, but I'll bet that's Tillium.

The Admiral's eyes widened and the blood left his face.
The mass of the debris cloud would have required dozens of Capitol ships to have been completely obliterated to form it...

Hail the Broken Arrow's Fleet that told us to be expecting them here...
Then negotiate a safe Orbit with the other Fleets - we don't want to tread on anyone's toes by accident right now.
And inform our Marines that we're gonna be making planetfall soon.

He sat back as his ships continued their work (obviously, they weren't actually facing the Planet at the moment, since they had to slow down to a usefull orbital speed - the flare of their engines would be visible even from the surface as hundreds of tonnes of Plasma slowed the vessels to their neccesary speed of orbit.

I like the image rugged.
