Department of Defense
Secretary Curtis walked out of the APSA's office. He carried numerous manila folders under his right arm. They rested in an accordian file. He remembered when he was younger, he would never use the accordian files. One of those "smart" descisions preceded tripping over a step and spilling the armful of files all over the corrider. The folders contained as much information that the United States Intelligence had on them. In the accordian file, there was two sets of this information. William would deliver one set to President Kepler for review just in case something had changed since the last time he viewed it (if ever). The other set was for Curtis himself.
He would begin reviewing the files himself when he returned to his office...whenever that would be. He still had work to do. To plan ahead, he decided to begin informing people of a meeting to discuss the actions to take (if any) against Cassius. He took out his cell and starting going down his contacts.

Joint Chiefs of Staff
General Belmont sat in his office reviewing the latest intelligence found by the NSA and Air Force. When he finished the document, he placed it back in it's file and placed it in the filing cabinet next to his desk. He started thumbing through the tabs looking for the next one he wanted. He thought, Cross-referencing should be so much easier nowadays. Everythi- His thought was cut short by his desk phone ringing. Christian glanced at the caller I.D. He closed the filing cabinet and picked up the phone, "General Belmont, Chairman"
Secretary Curtis was on the other line, "General, we haven't spoken for awhile. Unforunately, I think that that is a postive thing."
Christian chuckled, "Haha, indeed, Secretary. You are 100% right but I think it's safe to say that it will be a cold day in hell when the Joint Chiefs and the Department of Defense don't have to talk to each other anymore." He paused and took a breath, "What can I do for you, Billy?"
"Well, General, I just stopped at the APSA' office and picked up what we have on Cassius."
"Anything new?"
"That's what I'm checking for. I'm not sure if Kepler ever reviewed the file, or if anyone did, for that matter. I signed it out t review it myself for changes but I expect a lot for I haven't read this file in ages. I made a copy for Kepler as well. I'm going to drop it by the White House as soon as I get a chance to get outta here. I'm giving you a heads up for a possible meeting with President Kepler. I'm sure he would want his Military Advisor present and up to speed?"
"Great. Do we know under what premise we are having it?"
"Nothing in particular, just so everything is on the table and if anything happens, we know what we are dealing with. Would you like me to make a copy of the files?"
"Please."
"Will do. I'll keep you up to date."
"Bye."
"Bye."
