Franks shock came from what he saw of the commander. The sight of her cleavage was enough to get him distracted for days on end. and his already perverted imagination of the Commander was now made worst then before, or better if that is the thing people were after. Frank just stood there, his gaze going from her cleavage to the thousand yard stare as he drifted off into his sex crazed fantasies. if it wasn't for the suits tightness to the body, Frank would have been bulging in his outfit. Naku only smiled, the first smile he has shown to others in a long time as he was given permission to have his sword with him.

Naku began to move into formation when he noticed Frank off in his fantasy world of women once again. Naku tapped Franks back, which generally meant to move forward before playing his foot in front of Frank's, causing him to fall to the floor and wake him from his fantasy. "Ow!! Naku, did you have to do that?" Frank yelled, as if he had just woken up and forgot what he was doing. "Formation. Let's go." Naku simply replied back as he walked up to where the rest of the squad was. Frank realizing it, hurried up and got in formation, ignoring the pain till after they got debriefed.

"Then I won't be usng anything, Natasha out" she closed the comm and turned to the troops, fortunately, her whip was quite sharp lately, and they where already doing what they were suppose too, so, she didn't have to bark any other order

"What are you monkeys doing!?, the general will be here in 10 minutes!" she lied "I want you all ready by that time, you know how I hate to see my husband displeased, and you know what would happen to those who displease them" she pulled out her combat knife and made a beheading motion close to her neck, making more than one soldier to start sweating and move quicker, they where doing fine, but she was just bored

Vanessa placed her earcom on its place, and tested it, she received the echo comfirming the channel was open, her squad was formed in front of her now, and by now, every squad leader on the 1st task force should have their earcom online

"Authorization encryption level 2" there was only one authorization level higher than hers, Marshall Cole of course held the level 1 "Griffin, Vanessa H., CAG 1st Task force"

"Authorization engage, comunication passed to encryption level 2" the metallic voice of the network announced to every single squad leader, which meant Vanessa was about to adress them

Vanessa was quite relaxed with security when adressing her fighter pilots, if the squad leader wanted to share the transmision, it was fine to her, unless she specifically said otherwise, in any case, her squad usually was there when she adressed the squad commander

"God day ladies and gentleman, I hope you have enjoyed your respective permissions, but I'm sorry to inform you duty is calling" she opened her speech "As of this morning, 1300 hours, all permissions where cancelled, and of this moment I'm placing the fighter corps of the 1st task force on yellow alert, we have been called to battle, as we speak a strike force led by General Cassandra Khan is disabling a super weapon from the Imperium order, a super weapon I do not need to tell you was aimed to"

She paused to let them understand what she was saying "Our orders are to strike the enemy before they strike us, I will not go into details but in 2 hours time, the fleet will warp to the former Vangar Prime system and wipe out the Imperium fleet stationed there, along with this horrific weapon of mass destruction"

Vanessa walked a bit, in front of her own squad, looked at them in the eye "For the first time we will take an active role, and not a passive one, for the first time we will start the show instead of watching silently until we can't avoid the conflict, for the first time, the first strike is ours!" she yelled a bit more louder, it was clear she symphatized with the decision

"So I want every pilot on its fighter, doing preflight check as if I have ordered this yesterday, I want you all on green before we depart, no excuses" now her tone was dead serious "I want you all to give your 100% and more, we are coming to be the justice those b*****d traitors of their own people deserve, so I want you all to return with a ton of kills, ladies and gentleman, it is our time to be the force reckoned with, it is indeed our first strike!"

With that conclusion, the loud "YEEEE-HAAAAA!" from Diana and her brother was heard, Vanessa chuckled "Squad commanders, I'm passing you specs and IFF keys of a few new allies we have, consider them neutral and observe, stay away from their cruisers unless completely needed, that is all, I see you on the sky, God bless us all"

President Thomas smiled, she and the Chief Adviser of the Vangar people managed to work out an agreement on joining their two peoples into one united nation under one banner. Of course the rest of the process would take months to get into place, and years to get going. But, this was the first step on that path.

"Well, thank you Gaiden for coming all this way to discuss this." President Thomas thanked.

Lindsey and Gaiden shook hands.

"It was really no trouble. This is something that all Vangar want, to be part of something that is free and true to personal values." Gaiden said.

His personal assist entered the room and informed Gaiden that his shuttle was ready to go. He would return to the Janto system, where their new found colony was located. Of course he was made aware of the current plans to Assault Vangar Prime, and push the Imperium forces out of that system. He would inform the other Vangar citizens as soon as he arrived back.

Gaiden said one last good bye then headed out of the senate building.

Lindsey picked up the data pad that she used to record all of the information that they worked out today. Her chief of staff Kyle Martin entered the room along with a body guard who stood at the door.

"Ah Kyle. How was the debate?" Lindsey asked, know his answer of course.

"Boring as always Madam President, but I'll suffer through all the boring debates if it means you get your work done. " Kyle answered.

Lindsey smiled and walked over towards Kyle.

"Well, I think we both had enough excitement for one day..." Lindsey started to say.

They both turned in shock and surprise towards the large windows in the conference room. The sound of a large explosion and a bright orange fireball seen through the window. The building shook under the concussive force of the explosion. A fire alarm sounded, warning everyone inside the senate building to evacuate. Armed guards ran down the corridors, heading for the landing area outside.

Lindsey ran to the window as fast as she could, her heart racing inside her chest. Now in a state of shock, she starred down at what looked like the wreckage of a destroyed craft. Lindsey moved her eyes around the wreckage, looking for something... A symbol.

"Oh my god, Kyle... That was." Lindsey said.

The symbol for the Vangar Republic was visible through the smoke and fire surrounding the burning shuttle.

Emergency personnel soon arrived on the scene, putting out the fires and containing the area. Law enforcement personnel were also on the seen, looking over the wreckage and surrounding area for what caused the explosion.

Natasha suddenly left what she was doing, her hand reached the earcom on her ear, her face didn't change, something happened near the senate building, been a black ops team allowed her to be well informed of everything, and a possible attack on the Senate building was too big to get unnotice by the Naval Intelligence Network

She turned to Lenia and let her in charge, then she walked away, towards a solitary corner on the hangar

"Authorization code, Tango Sierra, voice recognition requested, Danko, Natasha K., Major, comm to Vice Admiral Harper"

The network recognized her ID, once the encrypted link was established, she spoke frankly and directly "Sir, what the hell just happened?"

Vanessa's face turned white for a moment, as she heard the news, her hand slowly fade from her earcom "The Vangar representative..." she mutered, the air traffice network was a chaos, nobody knew what happened, but everybody close on the area informed of the explosion of a shuttle, some mentioned the word Vangar personnel and everybody in high commanding ranking knew who was meeting today there, but it wasn't the death of who what shocked her the most

It was the tough that, given the current situation, it could mean somebody have infiltrated the Terran Federation...

((I would post, but to take all this in, I have no coms to anything as Naku is watching the Vanessa, since well, he's in formation and i'll explain his emotions when i post.

As for Naiko, I have no way of doing anything more without Ecks either so yeah, I'm on a boat with no paddle to row on till ecks posts.))

Waiting for the Nova

"Roger. Shuttle is on the way. Rendezvous in 30 seconds." The pilot of the shuttle radioed back. After that time had passed the shuttle had arrived. The Nova warheads were offloaded and then inspected for damage. "I need authorization for the warheads sir." The pilot said. "Authorization Omega 447." Nike said and then the pilot checked the authorization code and nodded. The crew got back on the shuttle and took off. "Get those warheads and prepare to move to the reactor. I'll message the general with the news." Nike said and then he messaged the general.

He prepared his weapons and moved toward the reactor. "I will lay down my life in defense of our people." He said as he recited part of the oath he had said when he joined the Vangar military. "Let's move." He said and the team moved out to the reactor.

Newland arrived at the hangar bay where his troops were in formation, scanning the crowd he did not see his wife anywhere. Must be something important..., he thought to himself as he walked in front of his small army and prepared to give his speech. "As most of you know, we are going to war. Some of us I know have doubts about our alliance with this unknown coalition of troops known as the Tri-Alliance. I myself have doubts and because of these doubts I requested that we operate as a separate entity from the main force. I will not be put us into a position where you my troops, my family and as members of the Federation in a situation that would put us at a disadvantage. As for the request it was accepted and we will as soon as we see the planet of attack, we are going to be launched via mass drop-pod assault onto said planet and wreck havoc. It will be our finest hour, we will shine like a beacon of hope for those who think it be hopeless......remember we are going to set the example for the regular infantry, we will be feared by the enemy and fear no one. For we are the Mighty Hundred and First. For those who will die, we will fight harder to avenge you, for those who live after this ordeal we shall honor our fallen and rebuild to carry on our legacy. With that prepare for combat and standby for the greenlight."

With that Newland saluted his troops and the troops saluted back, afterwards there was a loud cheering and alot of oorahs echoing into the hangar bay. His job was done, Newlands troopers were invigorated and morale was high. All that could stop them was if the ship went down before they could deliver death to the Federations enemies. Leaving the front he went to look for Natasha.

Admiral Taggert was made aware that Admiral Gear onboard the T.S.S. Fist of Heavens was hailing the station. He ordered the communication officer to patch the channel to the tactical display that was overhead the three flag officers.

"This is Fleet Command, go ahead Admiral Gear."

Second Vangar Moon

The Shield Generator room was a large room filled with generators, power relies, and a small command and control area. There were ten officers working on the consoles in the control room. Five Imperium troops were stationed near the main hatch, while four more patrolled the lower deck. On the upper deck two battle drones were on watch. The base shook a few times as orbital bombardments from the Imperium cruiser rained down outside.
