A building in east Durem exploded near the top, sending debris everywhere. The ground shook as the entirety of the top crashed to the ground, falling on top of cars and whoever wasn't fast enough to get out of the way.

Mel fallowed Neon closly behind and after taking a breath from what looked like an inhaler she pulled from her bag she would stay close to Neon no mask or suit just her normal clothes.
Mel had procedures done when she was a child which gave her this ability. She mumbled. "Planet bound people think they know everything."

"Well all right, but those things are expensive. That's a request you'll have to take up with Ol' Hickery here." Hyde reminded Tsusaka, squeezing tight the glove that granted him his short-range alchemy. They did not depart without Hyde getting eye of the strange girl that appeared to greet him. Who was she? Why did she seem so familiar...?

Never you mind, he had more important things to stagger.
"Yeah, long time no see." Hyde replied to Athena, knowing he'd already grown quite fed up with the 'gods of war' and their endless competition. Trying to control them was like trying to put an end to the Sack of Troy with nothing but motivational bumper stickers.

"Grunt?" Hyde questioned. To be honest, he was at least a little settled when Tenack powered down his armor. Even as a awarded Soldier, Hyde did not want to be forced to go toe to toe with Tenack in his armor. However, he could feel the tension bubbling up inside the man; one of his longest-standing enemies was right in front of him, and the only thing keeping him from putting her down was Hyde himself.
"Whaddya mean grunt, Acki? Isn't she the leader of the Reds?" Hyde asked. Long ago, he had lied to Athena to get information out of her, told her he was born in Durem. Now she could see the truth in his alignment.

"Well you should break them in, first!" Skylar laughed, overjoyed that her fellow machine was having little issue coping with her new prosthesis. "Here. Why don't you take a test-walk over to where Steve is to tell him, and that way, you can both see you if you like it?" One could tell Skylar was enjoying her temporary position as prosthesis distributor. She almost felt like the shopkeepers on the mainland!

Helping Botty down off the table on her new, more human-like legs with one of her many appendages, she gave Botty a light smack on her rump!
"Off with you, chipmunk! And be careful - though you've been installed with the walking program, it'll take some getting used to."
