The streets were unusually empty today, and the sun hadn't even set yet. There were soft blows of wind every couple of minutes, and it was comfortably cool. To a human, it would seem like the perfect kind of day, but to a vampire it was always the same. Being dead had its perks though. Weather was never an issue, sleep, but hunger. . . That was a problem, well for most vampire. Lilly however, thought she had it under control.

Her white hair fluttered through the wind, as she walked in a fast pace through the streets. She never had any problems with any "slayers" before, that was considered lucky. "Mmmm. . . What shall I occupy myself with tonight. . ." The white haired girl thought to herself as she glanced around the shops in front of her. Usually she just walked the tops of buildings at night. The town was always beaming with colored lights at night. Lilly always found it stunning to gaze at. She often found herself staring for hours.

Lilly reached into her coat pocket, and pulled out a cigarette, and lighter. She raised the cigarette to her lips, and inhaled for almost a minute. Addiction to nicotine wasn't possible for a vampire, but for some reason she liked the taste of it. A couple of teenagers were approaching Lilly. Their eyes widened as they walked past her. "Take a picture, it might last longer." She growled, as she blew the smoke through her glimmering white teeth. A sigh escaped her lips as she threw the rest of the cigarette to the ground, and continued walking.

Janshe Shinamori

Shut up.. Shut up.. Shut up.. Shut up..

Janshe, starting to get bored, got up and headed back into the city. He crossed a few shops before stopping at one and looking inside. It was a book store. He debated in his head whether or not to go in. He touched his pocket and checked the minds of those passing him by.

Crystal's mannerisms were odd. Her appearance was normal enough, but she gave the vibe of being a person who came from a 'more civilized age', rather than being completely naive. This was backed up by her confidence in stating her abilities, and what she was capable of, followed by her playing with her hair.

Looks like she was an immature person of great power from a more civilized age. Well, being hopelessly optimistic isn't all bad. There's Spiderman for instance.

"First off Crystal, don't worry about it, there are worse greetings to get confused with," said Aria. "Secondly, that's great, healers are always welcome." Her voice then descended to a whisper. "And an Angel at that,"

She wanted to test Crystal's readiness. There was only one thing she could think of that would be relevant in this interview considering the candidate.

"The thing is, I was out patrolling earlier, and I kind of hurt my shoulder," she began to explain. However as she was doing this, she began to focus.

A red stain had begun to spread across the right shoulder of her top. This was then suddenly followed by a tearing noise as Aria felt the sticky sensation on her skin, then tore the sleeve off, revealing a clean but deep cut into her arm just below the curve of the shoulder, which looked like it was made with a sword.

"Uh oh! It wasn't this bad before! Must be his powers!" she said, in a slightly elevated voice. It was the kind of tone that screamed 'I'm fighting to stay calm'. "Can you do something about this?" she asked. "The wound I think is pretty normal. It's onset is just delayed slightly and it must worsen over time to amplify the damage when it finally hits."

Crystal nodded and then saw the blood and the cut, "Seems simple enough, walking forward she closed her eyes and rubbed her hands together before opening them and placing her hands just over the cut. Her hands glowed and her eyes turned white, as soon as she had placed her hands over the cut she pulled them back to reveal a clean shoulder which only had a few bits of blood stained over it. "There you are, but a cut like that wasn't made by a sword, but more with a power, what I can do it see what caused the wound, it helps me see how to heal it". Stepping back more she pushed her hair out of her face and looked at Christopher.

A strange, dark man caught Lilly's eye as he stopped in front of some stores ahead of her. His dark wardrobe, and blindfold were an odd sight for her. She remembered that the man was another slayer. Lilly really had nothing better to do all day, but keep an eye out for potential enemies. The man in front of her was Janshe Shinamori, a child protege.

Lilly was pretty sure that the slayers had regulations about engaging vampires, and other threats. Hopefully Janshe wasn't a dimwitted slayer, and could recognize her innocence. Another sigh escaped her lips as she continued towards the shops. A slayer wasn't going to change what she had planned on doing.

What Crystal would have seen if she peered into the origins of the wound though she would see that the flesh and tissue just simply stopped holding itself together. Not even the molecules of the cells would have held together stable at the edges.

"Hmm, very good healing technique, highly effective... but not very discrete. Crystal, please be careful about how you do things like this."

Aria sounded disappointed that she could fault her. How could she fault an angel? She was actually judging the talents of a divine being. She would not know why she thought that way that night.

"Well, I hope you didn't see anything too wrong with the wound?" she asked, hoping that Crystal would notice the nature of the wound itself.

'If you notice the fact that the wound seems spontaneous, I'll accept you and buy you a cookie!' she thought to herself, willing Crystal to do something to put her doubts to rest about this angel.

Crystal frowned but then smiled as she stood up to face her once more, "Well, obviously is was caused purposely for me to demonstrate, it had just appeared out of nowhere, you didn't arrive with it and so I knew it was done by yourself" smiling again she looked up at the sky and hummed a small tune, almost like an innocent child. Her long white hair flowed down her back, it stood out against the red hoodie she had on.

"Congratulations. You're now a support healer. I think I will be able to assign you to a pair patrol later on, but for now, I think you can come with me. I owe you an explanation. But first, a cookie."

She extended her right hand to Crystal again to shake.

"Ah, in this part of the human world, this is a typical greeting," she said. "You take your right hand, hold onto my right hand, and shake it. It's a way of agreeing on deals too."

Crystal smiled and clapped her hands but then Aria extended her hand again and the same confused look showed on Crystal's face. But then she smiled once Aria had properly explained the gesture, "Oh" she spoke and did the same, shaking Aria's hand with a large smile. "Learning something new which will help me to adapt" giggling she looked at Pandora and Christopher. "Will you two be coming for a cookie?" she asked.

Faelwen blinked a couple times, then gasped, "Oh! Berserker!! My apologise! I did not recognise you." She dropped down from the tree, and sat on her knees, "My, you are doing well. And looking much better since you slept." Faelwen smilled brightly. She pulled up one of her boots that was falling off, and ajusted her belt, "Me? Oh, just same old, same old. Hunting. Fighting, practicing my healing. And contoling my flame." She was still practicing to put her flames on the tip of her arrows.

.......I don't feel enough for you to cry, oh well.
Berserker Nodded, "Good Good." he said looking at her, "The nap was nice except for the idiot that tried to kill me didn't finish the job." he said gesturing to the statue, "And if I'm getting this right he claimed he killed me." Berserker said shaking his head, "The fool didn't even strike me as I faced him." he said sighing, "Oh well That's old news." he said looking at her, "Your still looking good though...Hunting you say there's still good game around? I would have thought the loud noises and what not of these people would scare the animals away."

"Ah, I see." She replied. She looked toward to statue and the rest of the place, then back to Berserker, "Thank you. And no, not in range anyways. I have to go far out to find something decent." She sighed and flopped herself down beside him, leaning against the tree. Her icy blue eyes followed the humans walking around. They lived fairly normal lives.

.......I don't feel enough for you to cry, oh well.
Berserker sighed as he now looked at the Humans, "A lot has changed Since I fought that coward that was after the other beings..." he said rubbing his head, "Boots are comfortable...Cloths are baggy. People wear strange colors on their face." he said meaning the make up people wore, "And The vampires have broken their treaty." he now said as he cracked his neck, "...A lot of it I don't understand...Do you Miss Faelwen?"
