The guard would turn toward the two great doors and perform the dazzling feat of dashing 'cross the drawbridge and then leaping at the doors upon nearing them, charging all the way up and just barely nabbing the handle twenty-five feet above ground. He was either superhuman or just damn good.
Swinging his body, he rapped the handle off the big double doors twice, then dropped to the ground below with a roll.
"There we go. Now...."
He grunted, pushing against the one-hundred-foot-tall doors.
"Son of a...b***h...so damn hard to...get into this place...."
Meanwhile, Clash Kiddick came trotting up through the woods. He would release the body of the fallen warrior Taigeku and set him down before the drawbridge, noticing people around...and then promptly disappear in a cliche swirl of mist.
