Thank you for clicking on this thread :3 (now if only you would stay a while OTL)
This is an interest check for a heist-theme RP I have in mind.
Plot will be posted in the next post (it's a bit on the long side, but hopefully it won't be too boring for you).
Regarding the basics on how it will be set up...

♛ This will be a lit break to advanced lit break RP. Three paragraphs and up please, with good grasp of grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. Even though I said that, I'd still prefer quality over quantity, since no one wants to read what your character's morning routine is, unless that is important to the plot somehow
♛ There will be 12 spots in total, making this a rather small group RP. If you like small group RPs, then this may be the one for you!
♛ The spots will include positions like spies, hackers, detectives, field agents, etc
♛ Real pictures only please. I'm not really picky about this, so use whoever you want, provided they fit the bill. All ethnicities and sexual orientation are welcome!
♛ The ages will be between 18-30. Pretty big range, I know, but this RP will encompass all types of characters with all kinds of professions. Please make sure your faceclaim at least looks like his/her age. They don't have to be exactly the age, but should look it, if that makes any sense OTL
♛ You may reserve up to two characters of opposite genders

Plot !

ＬＯＣＡＴＩＯＮ▌║Manhattan, New York City. Brimming with distinct skylines and brilliant, glittering lights that never seem to turn off. Home of the sleepless, or so this bustling city has claimed. But for four very different people, the city holds another claim: it is a vast treasure chest with glittering jewels and priceless artifacts to...what else but steal?

ＭＯＴＩＶＥ▌║Fame? Fortune? Boredom? For the thrill of it? These four people, for whatever reason, have been working together for three years now to steal countless legendary diamonds, emeralds, pearls and other precious stones, plunder banks, and break into top-security strongholds among other nefarious crimes. Their professional thefts have captured the attention of the police since the group’s beginning three years ago.


ＧＯＡＬ▌║The job this time was simple enough. Break into tightly guarded property. Steal the thing of value for the one that hired them. Then get out and be rid of the wanted stolen thing as fast as possible. Contacted by a powerful crime organization called the Scorpions that was rumored to have almost complete control of New York’s underground system to steal something from a rival crime gang of theirs, The Kobras, the four Heist members could hardly refuse. First of all, the job sounded challenging and dangerous, which was just the kind they like. Second of all, it was lucrative. The leader of the Scorpions had offered an almost ridiculous amount of money to just steal this mysterious “item.” And third of all, the Scorpions had maybe, probably, okay definitely sent a semi-serious threat that if members of the Heist don't accept the job offer, horrible things will happen to them (details need not be disclosed, I’ll leave it up to your imaginations). So how could the Heist even think of refusing with a threat hanging right above their heads?

Will the members of the Heist put aside their opinions of the Scorpions and try and work together with them (for just the duration of this job, of course)? What are both groups going to do with the police hot on their heels? And most importantly, how can they steal something if they don’t even know what it looks like or even its identity?

mildly irritating and a little disappointing.
If i was told that this thread would get ignored

Yeah, i understood a busy week too, but while I'm a terrible
stalker, i know when things aren't right, or at least don't seem
to be right and this is just one of those time. This did seem like
an insanely awesome role play though, i totally agree. Too bad
its left a very bad impression, or at least, a bad impression
on me. Sorry you didn't get the role you wanted (unless you did
get it, i can't remember.)
