~Falleryn~
Her Side of The Story

The sun had once again risen as it did the day before. Falleryn's morning wasn't pleasant. The day seems cold and unwelcoming to her, yet she still managed to keep a smile on her face. Today, she will be taking over Madam Esmeralda as the resident healer of plants. Of course, she isn't good enough but she always tries her best.
Madam Esmeralda's quarters [office, if you will] is small yet lovely. A green flame eternally burns at the fireplace. Herbs of many kinds are lined by the window sill in pots made of glass. There are a few cobwebs by the bookshelves which are full of books of different sizes, thickness and colors, maybe even languages.
Falleryn sat by the spindly legged chair and waited for her first customers to arrive. They are usually gardeners and farmers who live by the countryside.
"Miss Falleryn," an aged man said as he entered the office, "my dear petunias are withering, they are gifts from an old friend and I will be very much disappointed if they die."
"Where are they from, Sir?" Falleryn asked with a monotonous tone. She didn't want to do this. The man spoke continuously but Falleryn wasn't listening anymore. It was like a student who is trapped in a class and is forced to listen to an uninteresting teacher.
"Oh, yes," Falleryn said, "from a distant land, I see. Hmmm..." She looked around the room and found a small bottle of potion. "Yes, this should do it, essence of rosewood and honeydew. And remember, just one drop a day."
"Thank you," the man said as he took the potion and left.
"I see you are quite busy for the day," Sage said. He is standing by the doorway and looking at the girl.
"Yes, I am at the moment," Falleryn said. "I do hope Madam Esmeralda goes back early. I want to take a look at my garden."
"I think she'll be quite a while," Sage said crossing his arms, "Miss Emma needs her assistance after all."
"Yes, I know," Falleryn said. "What about you Sage? What are you doing?"
"Actually its none of your business," Sage said. "And I think I shall leave now."
Typical. He didn't even give her the chance to retaliate.
The day bore on. And thankfully, less and less people are coming in as each hour passes. Outside, she can hear noises of people busy with the coming festival. She assumed that they must be planning to go all out on the celebration.
