Sparta
Welcome to Sparta, a bustling modern but secluded city that has been run down into the ground many times, but is still standing today. One can find an assortment of characters and items here.
But more importantly, welcome to the Spartan Fighting Arena. Not unlike the arena the gladiators once entered in ancient Rome, when one enters, dust settles under feet, and all is still on the sands...however, the crowd surrounding the area is loud and wild, and men place their bets on those sparring, dubbed Spartans.
The regulations are as follows:
1.) Two men set up and agree to fight.
2.) Bets are placed by watchers in Gaia Gold, on one Spartan or the other.
3.) The highest person to bid on a fighter must be matched by the other bidders until a set bet is established.
4.) The set bet is multiplied by the number of people bidding, naturally, which establishes the pot.
5.) Two Spartans enter.
6.) Battle is fought until either submission, KO if dragging on, or death.
7.) One Spartan leaves.
8.) The pot is divided by the number of people who bet on the winning fighter, so that Gaia Gold is distributed evenly to each winning bidder.
9.) All who took place in the bidding pay up to the collector, who refs the fight and monitors, and the collector distributes the Gaia Gold to the winning bidders.
10.) End, repeat.
