... Hfff. She shook her head. "They're also the most SUBTLE raiders out there, not that that's saying much. But once in a while a Noble might catch you off-guard," she warned, as if she were speaking to a newbie. And Zehn seemed kind of like a newbie to her. She figured he must have been from San Aurelius. Things were as nice there as they got anywhere, not that that said much.

"Last I looked out the window Jamestown was in sight. Shouldn't be long now," the lioness answered Jazzel's question.

Well there it is. The time is nigh.

"Right..." And Jazz allows herself to slide onto her backside, relishing the small amount of time she has to rest before she and her team get thrown back into Hells' maw.

Almost as an afterthought, Jazz pulls her sword free of her belt loop and examines the pearly metal. Her left hand strays to the cross choker around her throat, partly hidden by the thick explosive collar.

Still not glowing. And that in itself is an immense blessing.

Cayden took note of the fact that Jazz seemed to be taking the brief moment of respite to relax, figuring he should probably do the same, but unable to bring himself to simply sit back for a moment. Maybe once they were free of their collars and the siege was broken, but until then he was going to be pretty consistently on edge and jumpy. "Hey, Rose, can I ask a favor of you?" He asked, turning to the legendary gunslinger. He paused for a moment before explaning. "One of the radiers had a minigun and I want to set it up in town, but I need some help either carrying it or some of this other stuff." He noted, nodding to the shotgun and rifle he currently had on him. He was confident he had the strength to carry the minigun, but with how much he was carrying it would be very awkward to try to drag it along.

This lioness had the nerve to lecture him about battle field tactics and the danger of raiders like he was some ignorant thug. He had killed for lesser offences but now was not the time or place for such things so he pushed his anger away for a later occasion. “I could tell by their purple clown costumes they were big fans of subtlety. I’d have to be blind to be caught off guard by these parasites” His remaining eye began to itch, lioness must have fallen under his cat allergy as well “Thank god we’re almost there. It’s starting to smell like dead Noble in this sardine can” Once the train stopped he could easily steal his objective while everyone was concerned with other things, the real challenge was getting out of town. Zehn realized he would probably have to assist with defending the town and let out a frustrated sigh as he sat down on a crate "could use a drink as well"

( MGS3 is my favourite game of all time and only game i ever bought 3 times, turns out fate just hates that game. Metal Gear Rising is being made by platinum games now, the same folks who did bayonetta, so it is going to be ridiculously over the top and awesome! )

ANNOUNCEMENT

I'm putting this thread on indefinite hiatus, probably effectively closing it. Apologies for the inconvenience. Recent events in my life have made me reconsider my ability to manage, run, and DM a roleplaying story with the scope that I had intended for this one.

Anyone who feels displaced by this and is left without a roleplaying home, please speak to Hat-tori, who is a friend of mine and is involved in a recently-sprung roleplay designed by another friend of mine. I may or may not get involved in this other roleplay.

As to anyone who's interested enough to follow my writing specifically, I'll be spending most of my time writing a Fallout: Equestria fanfiction entitled Eternity Deterred, and if you'd like me to keep you updated on that, feel free to PM me concerning it. After I write that I intend to write serious, original novels, probably set in the Red Sands setting, which may or may not get some lore overhaul if only to make things more clear and precise (and more ownable, as I've been told {and somewhat agree} that it's a little Fallout-y).

I severely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause.

(( Well...that was anti-climatic, but life is always comes first on the priority list. I'm picky about the RP I join in on but I saw you were actually dungeon mastering and got pulled in right away. Was looking forward to playing a back stabbing agent xd Ah whatever I just got here so I don't have much right to complain about it, should count my self lucky I wasn't too invested in it yet I guess.

It's some what hard to write about original things as we are often heavily influenced by the stories we enjoy because that's what drove us to write in the first place. All though in an RP familiar things (New Camelus is like the Enclave and Blue Shield is like the the Brotherhood of Steel) can help players set themselves properly in your story which they know little about. Books don't have the problem of the reader being a character of course, so retooling the lore a bit for a novel wouldn't hurt but honestly it's hard to do any thing post apocalyptic with out people screaming Mad Max or Fallout so don't get discouraged. Any way have fun writing about radioactive ponies or what ever, peace ))
