Sparxi didn't believe that she had made that much difference, but if Sayuki believed so then she must have done so. She laughed quietly to herself at her joke about Rizu sometimes being her pet, even though the idea seemed pretty bad. It made her wonder what their lives were honestly like here when she left and even before she came across this place by accident. Maybe I should try visiting more often, she thought, knowing Dan would probably freak out at the idea of it.

The young girl understood Sayuki's message and was glad that Gigster was as quiet as he could be. The last thing she needed was for her to get into even more trouble when they figured out that Sayuki and Rizu were lying about her being there before. I can't let them get into big trouble over me, Sparxi thought, noticing how Sayuki was standing in front of her just in case someone did happen to walk in right then and there. They didn't even have to go this far in the first place, she added in her thoughts, feeling even more grateful for their protection of her.

While she waited for Rizu to return, she sat down on the ground and let Gigster run free, even though he mainly stayed by her side. She looked at her phone and was glad that her brother hadn't called yet, knowing that she'd have a hard time trying to explain without him wanting to panic like crazy. She looked through her bag and at all the equipment she found at the junkyard, wondering if she still go to another one once she was able to leave this place, whenever that would be.

Not too long after, Rizu came back and Sparxi almost stood up until she told them that she had a meeting to go to and that Sparxi would just have to wait a tad bit longer. She nodded, knowing how true she was about risking herself at that moment. When Rizu closed her door, she wondered what her meeting was for, just making the young girl even more curious about the naga herself. How in the world did you end up in this place? Sparxi asked, sighing some and looking at Gigster who had been searching through her new found "treasure", the mechanical head popped up and looked at her curiously. And more importantly... What in the world is this place exactly and why is it here?

I surround myself with idiots…
This place gives me the creeps….
Stuck with a Priest and a Coward…..

Vader was brought out of his quiet seething by the door opening once again. Violet eyes widened and he watched Rizu start reacting rather violently to the new woman’s presence. Her behavior made him even more frightful than she herself normally did. The minimal light around him flickered a bit before his entire form just disappeared from sight. Two pairs of eyes stared at Magie rather curiously before Chester gave her a small polite smile as a greeting. Vince did nothing more than stare at her blankly. If she had that kind of reaction from the Naga, he had a feeling he would wind up liking this chick a LOT more than most of the other oddballs in the entire area. “Who the hell–” he actually flinched at the rather harsh elbow that had been shoved into his gut. Vince glared at the smaller male before growling. “Damn priest…” Chester was more focused on Rizu and her reaction to the strange woman. Ruby eyes narrowed almost dangerously as he surveyed the small French woman. He gave her no other greeting than the previous smile, but he didn’t give off a threatening air either. He just simply stared, watching as she smiled and waved before leaving. “….. Odd….”

Vince scoffed and delivered a lighthearted, but still rather painful, punch to the Priest’s shoulder. “Man up, Priest….” He received a rather cold glare in return. “Remove yourself from my personal space….. Perdicaro….” Vince scowled and took a small step back. He may not have seemed like the violent type, but Chester was capable of quite a bit of damage. The Italian had witnessed it first hand before. Those blades of his… They were deadly under the right circumstances. Vince had learned very well when it was best to keep his mouth shut and just WHEN was the best way to quit. He pulled out another cigarette before skillfully picking the zippo out of the Priest’s pocket and lighting it. Chester didn’t seem to truly interested in him at the moment. He had his attention more toward the rather frightened looking Naga. “Miss Rizu…. Just… Who is that woman? And…. What is your...” he muttered a quick swear in some foreign language that Vince couldn’t quite translate, ‘b*****d and his French….’, Chester gave her a rather weak smile, “What is it about her that makes you react in such a….. strange way?”

Vader was currently curled up as far away from Rizu as he could possibly get, flickering in and out of sight. He was trying to calm himself down slowly while he remained curled up in the fetal position, leaning back against the wall. “Sh-She frightened the sn-snake……. Sh-She…. Sh-She……” He took deep and extremely unsteady breaths. If he breathed any harder, he’d likely pass out. He didn’t want that. Last time it happened he woke up in a rather strange way. Apparently after he passed out, the other’s just left him where he was. Not bothering to even so much as THINK of taking him to his room. He didn’t like not knowing where he was when he woke up… And if he passed out, that’s exactly what he predicted would happen.

Why do I put up with this?
What have I gotten myself into?

Merii & Rizu

The Black Death is at War....

Merii was trying not to stare. The naga hadn't even unwound from around the cart yet. In fact she was twined so tightly around it that the metal was quickly caving under the tight coils. It was quite clear that when the other female was coaxed away from her admittedly defensive position with the cart that it would no longer be serviceable. Scoffing a bit the elemental shook her head. This was beyond ridiculous. And not to mention odd... It was pure fact and observation said the french woman wouldn't have been a match for the naga in the slightest. Size, strength, and hell, even venom had made it painfully clear which of two would have won in a fight. Unless Magie had a trick up her sleeve, there was no way she'd survive a fight with Rizu, not a chance in hell.
Rizu on the other hand seemed to not care even in the slightest about this. The only muscles she had moved were the ones that at that moment were deforming the cart. "Magie Noir." The name was spit out like a curse. The naga most definitely had history with the woman. After a trembling breath she began to slowly work her claws out from their place buried in the metal of the cart. "And she... Is a demon. A tiny. Deadly. Demon. She does nothing but lie... I'll say this once, and only once... Stay. Away. From. Her." As she spoke that old familiar accent of hers always so prominent in how she treated her s's was heavier still. She was upset. It wasn't like it was so easy to be calm after SHE had come in... "She's poison... A woman with not even a hint of conscience, compassion, or morals... She'd sell all of us down the river Styx in a heart beat!"
It was all the elemental could do to keep herself from laughing. She was supposed to avoid that tiny woman? "It sounds like someone just has a grudge..." True Merii didn't exactly have a reason to deny what she had just heard... But she didn't have a reason to believe it either. The glare she was getting from the naga was almost enough to worry her. "You don't know her... She's cruel... Self-absorbed... You'll see... Probably once it's too late." Another scoff escaped her at that. If the b***h were less secretive she'd just tell them what happened with Magie. She felt her eyes rolling. The reptilian woman had yet to unwind herself from around the cart.

Merii & Rizu

The Black Death is at War....

It. Was. Hot. And quite frankly the fire elemental known as Merii... Well, she loved it. Who wouldn't? It was nice and warm, her stomach was full... And she was content. Those held within the cell like rooms designed for the super-natural had had an early dinner. Quite frankly the brit expected a late supper because of it. The young woman in question was all but sprawled out on the ground of the common area of the OBM head-quarters. At least... The common area for the freaks anyways. The large, round room with it's high ceiling was actually surprisingly vacant. Most had chosen to hide in their rooms to escape the heat. The only other two currently in the same area as her... Were Vader - the bloody coward - and Rizu.
Rizu was on the opposite side of the room from the rather rude woman. There was not much she had in common with the elemental. One of the few items on the common list between them... Was a liking for heat. Rizu had strayed from her room today to get a little bit of sun-bathing done. It was what had her coiled in lazy circles as her food digested. Ever since their new commanding officer had thrown his little fit the food had improved. Not by too much, mind you... But it was now at least recognizable as food. With her eyes closed she tried to tune out the sound of whining that was very clear. Hell, she probably would have been able to hear it, even with a human's hearing. She wasn't too sure where Vader was... But he sure was being noisy. She was contemplating asking him kindly to be a little quieter, when something rather... Strange caught her attention; a breeze. The complex hadn't felt a breeze since their last wind elemental had died... So that could only mean that somewhere, a window was opened... And if a window was opened... That meant potential escape.
Merii didn't immediately notice the actions of the naga. After all, why should she care what the other female got up to? However, when she began to pull herself up from her lazy circles, it was enough to catch attention. What on Earth was she doing...? Usually she liked to laze around in the sun after a meal... It didn't take long for honey brown eyes to follow the naga's line of sight. There was a window open. A small, high-up window had been left open. The young woman was left staring as pressing herself against the wall, Rizu began to push herself slowly higher and higher. "...The bloody hell is she doing....?" After a moment of gawking she sat up. Not long after that a slow, devious smirk spread across her features. She could have quite a bit of fun with this. Quietly she began to chant, slowly getting louder and louder. "Crash. Crash. Crash. Crash! Crash! Crash! CRASH!"
Rizu of course paid no mind to this. If there was even a slim chance of her escaping she would try for it. She didn't even bother to pay attention when the other female began to play with live flames to try and distract her. As she slowly scaled the wall, stretching out further and further to support herself, she kept her gaze upwards; locked on that window. The more she stretched out the more she began to resemble a Gardner snake that had been captured from someone's backyard and was attempting to escape the fish tank it had been put in. Every time she wobbled she would pause for a mere moment to regain her balance before continuing on her way. Nothing else mattered. Nothing but that window. And then... Then it was within reach. It was right there...Her fingers could brush against the frame, barely not high enough to grasp onto it and haul herself out. It was excitement that betrayed her then. As a small smile found it's way out, she didn't pay enough attention to her balance, she began to wobble dangerously. Making one last desperate snatch at the window, she missed, and found herself falling.
Merii T. Garcia was a mean, mean, sadistic woman... It was why when the naga hit the ground hard she laughed. Her laughter carried on as the other female stayed on the ground where she had fallen. Quietly gunmetal coils were shifting bit by bit; pulling themselves closer to the more human half of the fallen woman. As the elemental snickered trying to get herself to stop laughing, Rizu said one thing to herself, in a tone that was almost silent. "Stupid... Stupid... Stupid... It was... Right there... So... So close..." Had Merii been able to see the look on the naga's face just then, as fangs bit down on her lower lip as she told herself not to cry, she would have been even more elated. Neither woman was even slightly aware of the possibility of anyone else being in the room; that was how focused they were on the attempted escape.

Seril

Seril was dazed and confused, the last thing he remembered was getting shot by a weird energy beam and now he was in what he correctly assumed to be the back on a car. His head was covered by a black cloth so he would not be able to see where he was being taken and his hands were tied behind his back. every time he tried to ask what was happening he was ignored. Eventually he got tired of being ignored and started asking every few seconds in as annoying a manner as he could manage. This just got him punched rather hard in the gut. It shut him up very well, the car stopped soon after and he was pulled out of the car and to his feet. He was afraid he was going to die now. He had used several of his toys as he thought of them to obtain a rather sizable amount of money. It had attracted unwanted attention and now he was being brought...somewhere. He was thrown to the floor unceremoniously and the bag was tugged from his head. He saw the men who had taken him down leaving, they were all wearing black suits. The room he was in was empty and had white walls when the door closed behind him he noticed there was no handle on the inside of the room. "At least take the damn rope off before you leave you jerks!" Seril got to his feet and slammed his shoulder against the door, that did not go well for him. He fell right back over after bouncing off of the very solid door. He then tried kicking one of the walls and just hurt his foot.

Black Magic Magie Noir

Love me, or hate me...

Nails painted a vivid red were twisting purple tinted black strands into a single spiral curl as Magie repaired the damage her appearance had taken. She always made sure she looked alright at least twice a day. But then... She was technically dead. If she weren't careful that fact would start to become obvious. Pitch black eyes looked over her appearance in the mirror she kept in her room. She kept her eyes make-up modest with not much more than eye-liner. Her lips however were a contrast to that and were done a vivid red that matched her nails. The gypsy wore a black pencil skirt with off white pinstripes. She coupled it with an off the shoulder peasant blouse in a color that almost matched that of parchment. She wore a rather plain grey open vest, with black trim.
Often she wore hats and today was no change. However in a break from her usual she wore a fedora with a grey camouflage sash wrapped around the base. Smoothing her hands along her skirt she looked down at the plain black boots she wore. They added a few inches to the height of the short french gypsy. At the sound of a pounding knocking on her door she scowled. She knew what it would be about, and guessed - quite correctly - that there was no reason to rush. Her scowl only deepened to see her shadow leaning quite independently against her dresser. One could just barely distinguish the smug smirk the dark shape wore. As only two other people in the HQ knew, Magie Noir's shadow was capable of moving and acting separately from her. It was the embodiment of a sinister shadow spirit from the underworld. She had sold her soul to the thing hundreds of years ago.
Refusing to even contemplate the shadow she went to her door, yanking it open, all but glaring at the soldier who had been hammering away at her door so insistently. "Yes, yes, I know. I've got to go speak with him. You didn't have to try and break down my door!" It was obvious that the man hadn't expected such an answer from him and it was enough for him to be momentarily speechless. "Meet me outside of the holding room with two chairs. Do you think you can do that?" Seemingly she had cowed the man, who simply nodded before walking off. Scoffing just a bit she shook her head, not a single hair falling out of place before she began to stalk the halls, her shadow once again acting properly.
When she got outside of the room she was glad to see the man waiting with her chairs. Giving him an almost dark smile she pulled out a set of keys, barely taking a moment to open the door. She walked right in, almost ignoring Seril. She allowed the man to place one chair, before making sure he placed the other opposite. "You can leave now." That nasal voice was almost haughty as it's owner claimed one of the chairs, waiting for the soldier to leave before considering the young man she was occupying the room with. "...Sit. We should.... Talk, no?" She smiled an almost sickeningly sweet smile, crossing her legs as she folded her hands in her lap. "I hear you're capable of creating quite a good deal of damage. Those banks certainly thought so, at the very least..."

I'll still be the end of you.

Seril was still unsure as to where he was and why he was here rather then jail. He supposed the nature of his crimes had warranted special action, but he did not expect this. He tried kicking and slamming the door and walls for a few minutes and when that did not work he just started pacing. When a pair came in with two chairs he started complaining right away. "You can't just up and kidnap people, I have rights. I get a lawyer and all that stuff, I demand you people let me go right now." Sitting would have been nice after having to stand in this empty room but now he would stay standing just to spite this woman. "No I'll just stay standing up." He supposed it might be a little easier to play along but he was in no mood to play games with whoever these people were. "You must have heard wrong." He could wait until she got annoyed at him for not cooperating and tried leaving the room, then he could slip out and escape this place. He nodded to himself slightly. This was a good plan, now he just had to get her to leave.

Black Magic Magie Noir

Love me, or hate me...

The look Magie was giving the boy was a mix of pure disdain and boredom. She would break him like a cheap chair, and she knew it. After a moment she sighed, looking him over with those dark eyes of her, never allowing her gaze to be direct. He would be cute if he weren't so annoying. After a moment she ran her tongue over her pearly white teeth before watching impassively as his own shadow yanked him down to the floor hard enough to leave some heavy bruising. "...You're annoying me. That isn't wise." Frowning just a bit she slowly shook her head. "When a lady requests for you to sit in her presence... You sit, oui? Oui." Quietly she uncrossed her legs, smoothing her skirt out. She was purposefully trying to make him nervous. He had annoyed her, and she really didn't like when that happened. "You've upset a lot of people with your actions. It was felt that the military should intervene on behalf of the government."
Quietly she was cleaning under her nails. Seeming almost totally disinterested in Seril. "You should be thanking me. I stepped in on your behalf. Insisted that you should be allowed the chance to do us all a favor. Your only other option once we got our hands on you was death. I'm sure you wouldn't want that... I hear lethal injections make you feel like your veins on fire." Glancing at him directly for almost the first time since she stepped into the room, she grinned an almost cruel smile flashing those white teeth of hers. The boy really had made a mistake in upsetting her. "As you may or may not have noticed young man... We are at war. Over people quite a bit like you. As such the rights of any individual found on what is considered our soil is HIGHLY debatable. The majority of juries and judges would hand you a death sentence without even considering it. So really you shouldn't complain. And we weren't kidnapping, per say... I can even show you the papers that gave us the orders to bring you here."
She could hear a very familiar whispering in her mind, urging her to keep pressing. To keep going on ruthlessly until she broke the poor child. Shifting just a bit she crossed her legs again, going back to her almost bored demeanor. "Now... Unless you would like to die before the day is done... I suggest you apologize to me so that we may speak civilly about this whole situation." She had gone back to inspecting those impeccably done nails of hers. She wasn't even the slightest afraid. That was why she was so often given this job. If she were handed a troublesome or dangerous individual she was fully capable of breaking them, and they wouldn't be able to kill her. She was most definitely a snake in the grass.

I'll still be the end of you.

Seril was not sure what she was thinking but before he had much of a chance to think it over he was suddenly slammed into the floor by some unknown force. He assumed she had done something to him to cause it but he had no idea what she had actually done. "Ow.." He looked up at her and shrugged. "I'll keep that in mind in case any ladies ask me to sit." By the smart a** tone of his reply it was obvious that she had not in fact succeeded in making him nervous. He did not believe her for a second that they would just up and kill her over a few little robberies where no one even was around to be hurt at the time. "That's bull I'm a human, there's no way they can just up and execute a human. Even if I am a little off." The way she seemed so bored of this did a better job at making him mad then anything else. "Whatever your orders say they can't just lock people away without trials, or kill them. " He clearly did not fully understand the situation he was in.

The silver spoon…
Won’t feed your friends…
‘Cause life tastes bitter when you eat with your hands
Count me in…

The dark haired illusionist kept his place close (but not TOO close mind you, the woman still frightened him) to Merii. He couldn’t help the quiet whimpers that escaped him nigh constantly. Why hadn’t he just stayed in his room, you may ask? Well, it was dark in there… Dark and lonely, and as much as he was TERRIFIED of the two women who were accompanying him in the common area, he would rather be somewhere a bit brighter… that also had other living creatures. Not to mention he thought he saw a rat (or a very large man-eating mouse) scurry its way under his bed. ‘No way in HELL am I dealing with that….’ He weighed his options, a freakishly large fuzzy creature who could come out and attack at any random moment, or a temperamental (but more avoidable than the mouse) fire starter and a (much more reserved and even MORE avoidable) naga.

His whimpers only grew louder as he watched the Naga woman start to raise herself in an attempt to reach something. “Wh-Wha?!” He felt even more panicked at this point. The sudden strange behavior mixed with Merii’s demented chanting, had nearly given the coward a heart attack. ‘I-If she falls, then she’ll be….. C-Closer to me…… Or what if she gets hurt and something snaps in her brain and she just goes berserk and kills us ALL?!’ He was quietly hoping to himself that whatever she was reaching for, she got to safely… He may have feared the woman, but her being harmed was… Was something he couldn’t fathom. The moment she crashed down, he let out a rather unmanly and far from dignified shriek. Not only had it startled him, but it had brought his earlier thought into question. He whimpered quietly and curled up even more in his small space by the wall.

And I’ll be the one
To take the knife out of your spine
Because I know that you’ll be the one
To bury the blade deeper into mine

Here, A little sympathy for you to waste on me
I know you're faking it but that's okay

Even if I wanted to,
I don't think that I'd get to you.
There's nothing I can say to you to make you feel alive again.

It was a bloody Monday. One of the Priest’s least favorite days of the week, of course the only other day that the man despised was the preceding day… for fairly obvious reasons. He hated his job… So much. Deep wine colored eyes glanced over to the rather rigid looking form next to him. As much as he hated the Italian, he would never deny that there were some redeeming qualities to him. The first being his posture, the second would more than likely be his cooking. He couldn’t help but wonder to himself just what Vincent would have been like had he been raised as a girl. He tried his hardest to picture the best form that would fit a she-Vince, and he could only picture a much larger bust with a smaller frame. The personality would be entirely circumstantial, so he wouldn’t bother to even TRY to imagine that. “Any particular reason, you keep staring at me, Priest?” The accent was a bit thicker than normal. He was starting to get annoyed wasn’t he? A soft, almost sadistic smirk crept onto Chester’s face as he shrugged his shoulders while closing his eyes and continuing on their path toward the Common Area for all of the supernatural beings. “I was just wondering how a brute like you managed to land a mission quite like this…”

There was an obvious irk to the taller man’s nerve as he glanced over at the smirking male with a deep scowl. “…. Probably the same way YOU are stuck dealing with this kind of mission…..” Their expressions were reversed while the Priest narrowed his eyes in the darkest glare he could muster. He muttered a few choice swears under his breath, before picking up his pace and passing the Italian before yanking the door open just in time to see Rizu land in a rather painful way. “s**t! Are you alright?!” Chester ignored the obvious reprimand that he received from Vince about his language as he ran over to find some way of comforting the fallen reptilian. Vince had stayed in his place by the doorway and just chuckled to himself quietly. “For all we know, Priest, she deserved it…. Accidenti serpente….” He was instantly silenced by the much more threatening than normal glare he had received from his current partner. “Hmph…”

So don't you say goodbye to me.
Just turn your back away and leave.
And if you're lucky I will be your last regret, your only friend.

I guess that this is over now
I guess it's called a falling out.
But everyday I'm learning how to make it through this life I'm in.

Merii & Rizu

The Black Death is at War....

Merii was flat out laughing at the other woman's fall. It was just in her nature to be... Well... A b***h. She was left snickering and giggling. "She got some ******** air in that one man! Like a damned roman pillar goin down~" By this point she was trying to get a reaction out of the naga. Usually she'd get something; a look, a glare, something! But this time...? Nothing. The elemental was well aware of the corner of her eye twitching just a bit in irritation. Scoffing she slowly began to shake her head plotting away a way to get under the other's skin. She ought to be shaken, so it ought to be easy, right? Right. But the thing was... That it wasn't! She was being weirder than normal...
Carefully Rizu had pushed herself up, supporting her upper body with her arms. She was already developing rather nasty looking bruises along her left side; the side of her that had hit the ground. She let her head hang, keeping the look on her face hidden behind her hair. Her eyes were watering. She wasn't crying... It was the shock of the impact. Something like that... And besides. Even if she were crying it wouldn't be from pain rather it would be from the humiliation of having her most recent failure seen. "....Fine. No broken bones..." She was being even more quite than usual, and her usual handling of s's was even more pronounced than usual.
Merii was finally beginning to calm down. "Define deserved it. If you mean slipped reaching for an open window, then yes. See, right up there?" Here a single finger pointed up to the window in question; impossible for most people to reach. However Rizu was long enough to get to it. "She was trying to get out. Again. It's kinda sad. She's been here longer than any of us... It all started with her... And despite this she's still trying to get out. You'd think she'd have given up by now...." The spoiled elemental was shaking her head again, oblivious to the dark glare the naga was treating the ground below her to.
Rizu's nails were digging into the ground below her. She really wanted to get back at the other woman. To hurt her; to yell and shout; throw something; to even kill her... But she couldn't. Maybe she could get away with one remark... Just... One; give or take a few. "....At least my head isn't so far up another's a** that I can't even breath. If I must be honest... I would much, much rather be me and live with my flaws... Than be you. Because I look at you and feel very sorry...." Yellow eyes were staring at the other woman, all but daring her to try something. "...You should go play with Vince... You two would be so very.... Fitting, for each other." Okay... Maybe she shouldn't have been quite so mean... But it was deserved! ...Right?

...With the Flame-Eater.

Love me, or hate me...

The main reaction to the boy's comments one could see in Magie was a small twitch at the corner of her mouth. Oh, so he wanted to play things that way, did he? A soft rippling chuckle escaped her as she slowly shook her head. "You don't get it. Being a bit 'Off' as you described it... Classifies you into the minority group that is consisted of super-natural beings. You are in a country who is not known for their kindness to minorities." Not even looking at him - as if he were of no consequence to her - she considered her neatly done nails. After a moment she flashed him a predator's grin; all teeth and vicious intent. "Please consider the history of this proud nation of ours. What did they do to the Native American's again? And how did they treat the slaves? It is quite a similar boat you and people like you are in right now. We can and will do pretty much anything to you we want. After all, history does have that unsettling tendency to repeat itself, non?"
She was being nice. She wouldn't even begin to mention how Hitler acted. The fact was if the military or government or both wanted to do something to a group... They would. Reaching up a careful hand she gently patted at her hair, making sure it was all still in place. Lacing her hands together she gently rested them over one of her knees. For a small moment she was quiet, as if giving what she had just said time to sink into his head. "....So. Allow me to ask you again. Are you ready to talk with me in a civil manner? If not I can certainly wait. Maybe I'll get them to bring photographs of what happened to the last person we had in this room. And no, he isn't alive anymore. He didn't want to talk to me either." It was clear from the little pout she gave him that she didn't care in the slightest for the person who had died. It was equally clear that it had been her say so that got them killed.

I'll still be the end of you.

Tipsy Mage

Seril never really considered what he did to be supernatural, it all made sense scientifically to him. It went over normal people's heads but it was all explainable to him. He was human but he was in fact different, which scared him more then he was willing to let on. What if they wanted to experiment on him? Or worse? Maybe if he just played along for a bit he might escape. He supposed that as smart as he liked to consider himself he should have been less flashy. He should have known better then to take so much money and in such flashy ways when if he had kept to his subtle methods he would have lived a very comfortable lifestyle. "Fine..what was it you wanted to talk about then?" Absent of course was the apology she had demanded, he supposed he should, but he was not about to let himself be bullied, she was obviously supernatural too so he found it amusing that she would go on about minorities. She had hit him with something a moment before and it was not something he just imagined..Wait had she really killed another person in this room? There was no way they would let someone get away with that right? He was more nervous now then a moment ago, not that he was showing it. "W-why did you bring me here?"

Here, A little sympathy for you to waste on me
I know you're faking it but that's okay

Even if I wanted to,
I don't think that I'd get to you.
There's nothing I can say to you to make you feel alive again.

The worry on Chester’s face was rather hard to miss. “You’re sure you’re alright?” Ruby eyes scanned her form curiously. “Is there anything I can do? Does it hurt anywhere?” He had the slightest basic knowledge of medical treatment. Of course, he wasn’t entirely certain it would pertain quite as well to her species, but he was sure he could come up with SOMETHING, if he had to. He glanced over at Vince and Merii quietly, eyes seething in the quiet anger that was usually on the back burner in his mind. “If you two don’t mind….. I’d appreciate it if the peanut gallery would remain silent during any and all accidents that may or may have already occurred…” It was a small threat, one he knew Vince would at least catch on to.

The threat was noted, but not pointed out. “…. Get out? Really? Why on Earth would you want to try and escape from the only place in this world that would welcome you after all this time…. Everything you’ve seen…. All the pretty places~ All the lovely colors… all the people….” He was smirking. Perhaps he was being a bit too cruel, but he didn’t take kindly to being threatened. “You and the Priest are in the same boat at that point, right?~ So much blood on your hands and never enough water to wash it away….” He turned his head slightly, smirking at Merii, hoping she would join in on some of his cruel remarks… Or at least relish in them with him. The Italian ignored the implications from the snake, just waving it off with a devilish smirk and a tiny challenging glare toward Chester.

Chester was left staring at the ground beneath him blankly. Every single word that had just been said had hit nearly every nerve imaginable in him. He would have been able to get up and lead Rizu away from the two until he felt the slight shift in the air when Vince realized there was one thing left unsaid. “Just what would that sis of yours think?” Chester visibly twitched before reaching into his pocket and fiddling with the small blade he kept there. “Just…. One….. I could just take his tongue….. That would shut him up…… Right?” He was muttering to himself, loud enough for Rizu to hear, but quiet enough for it to only seem like mumbles to the others. “Just once……” He grit his teeth and ruby eyes widened before glancing back at the two bullies who may as well have just teamed up against them.

Vince knew very well what he had just done. He knew just how much the Priest had wanted to go against everything he stood for and gouge his tongue out….. Maybe even his eyes, but he couldn’t help but feel that it was completely worth it. They hated each other, and it was obvious. Why wouldn’t he act on such mutual feelings? Not to mention that the reaction toward the snake’s little crash had brought a few extra things to his attention about the dangerous priest. ‘Someone’s got his eyes on some scales….’ He was smirking and looking back and forth between Rizu and Chester with this KNOWING face. “Such fun… Now~ Miss Merii~” He gave her a rather polite bow before turning to look at Rizu more directly, “….. Snake…….. Get yourselves ready~ We’re going to the Priest’s favorite place in the whole world~” He threw his arms up ecstatically, knowing full well just how much Chester had hated that place. “Paris, here we come~”

So don't you say goodbye to me.
Just turn your back away and leave.
And if you're lucky I will be your last regret, your only friend.

I guess that this is over now
I guess it's called a falling out.
But everyday I'm learning how to make it through this life I'm in.
