Cassidy Trent

Cassidy and Adrianna had been extremely lucky that Silvia hadn't found them last night. If that had happened, Cassidy would have had to fight Adrianna to get her to go away. And the werewolf female was relieved that that hadn't needed to happen. The next day was uneventful. She hadn't seen Silvia all day. And when she had gotten back, her friend had been out looking for her, as Cass had found out through the terrified doorman upon her return. She was now on her way to find her childhood friend, whom apparently had been sleeping away the day.

Cass found the door to Kitty's office locked. But Cass wasn't really ever stopped by a silly lock. She'd broken into Kitty's rooms in the past to sometimes surprise her friend. Smiling a little to herself, Cassidy quietly picked the lock and slowly opened the door to the darkened office. Once in the room, Cassidy could see that Silvia was fast asleep in one of the chairs. Seeing how relaxed her friend looked made Cass smile even wider. She shut the door as soundlessly as was humanly possible before heading further into the room.

Noticing the bottle and half-full glass of whiskey on the table next to Silvia, Cassidy frowned slightly in disapproval before picking up the items. She shook her head a little bit as she went to put the glass into the small sink for the mini-bar. Being as quiet as possible, Cassidy went back over to the sleeping Silvia and bent over to look at her friend's calm face. The werewolf grinned a little bit to herself as an idea occurred to her. She couldn't let Kitty sleep the entire day away could she? As such, Cassy leaned over next to Kitty's ear. "Rise and shine, Sleepyhead!" She said aloud to wake her friend out of her stupor.

XXXXXXXXXXXXKitty had heard something in her sleep but because of the alcohol it was making her to lazy to get up and find out what it was. If an assassin had came to kill her today they would have actually succeeded. She heard the person get closer but she kept her eyes tight until she got the scent and she relaxed one more it was just Cassidy. She then heard her talking in her ear. Jumping awake she rolled out of her chair and hit the floor with a cloud thud but she was on her hands and knee. She sat up so she was on her knees and rubbed her eyes. "Why?" She kept rubbing her eyes since it was so bright from the sun coming into the room. "You could have let me sleep nobody is pushing anything until later tonight." She was about to go to her room and pass out on her bed.

Cassidy Trent

Cassidy leaned back as Kitty woke up with a start. She knew that her friend had probably caught her scent when coming into the room, so she wasn't as surprised as someone else might be. Smiling cheerfully, Cass answered her friend's question. "Can't let you sleep the entire day away, can I?" she stated simply, shaking her finger at her sleepy childhood friend. Cass paused for a moment before plopping herself down into the spot on the chair that Kitty had just vacated. She leaned her chin onto an upraised hand, still smiling. "Besides, I heard you were really worried about me yesterday, so I thought I'd drop in to let you know I'm still in one piece." her smile widened slightly at what she had just said, a tiny chuckle escaping her. She found it a little funny, and also embarrassing, that Silvia still worried about her going out on her own at night.

XXXXXXXXXXXXKitty's thoughts about her bed soon vanished since she was to lazy to get up so she rested her head on Cassidy's lap when she sat down in her chair. "Yes I can if I've been up for a while drinking my sorrows away." She chuckled and closed her eyes comfortable with her friend near. "I got into some trouble last night," her voice then trailed off. "I don't know how much trouble since I don't know if people know I'm connected to it or not." She lifted her head and rubbed her temples, "It might even cause a problem for the Russio's."

Verona Xevaic

" you think they would realize by now i am alright on my own... Verona sighed as she adjusted her black coat and the scarf that kept her warm from the evening chill. "nice that they let me leave the house without too much of a fuss this time, even a blind woman needs some time to her self every now and then" she hummed and tucked the long white can under her arm as she slowly put on her dark leather gloves before settling it back in herhand and tapping the ground lightly and swinging it back and forth to make sure the way was clear. Many people wandering by glanced in her direction once or twice as she moved from the side walk and headed to the park path with only the cane as her guidance. She had thought about getting a dog, certainly would have been nice on long park walks like this, but the keep and care of a pet like a seeing eye dog seemed to require some time she was roughly unable to afford for the time being so she let the idea pass for now. memory and the occasional tap of her cane helped her to follow the cement path that winded though the grass park and Verona took the time to reflect on the sounds of a beautiful day that surrounded her. Getting out of the house and her office was rare as of late, so there was always time to appreciate the moments she could find some peace. Coming close to where she knew she wanted to settle she used the cane to find the familiar bench not far from her position and settled elegantly to wait.

Cassidy Trent

Cassidy smiled gently as Kitty placed her head on her lap. "Drinking the night away, huh?" she repeated absentmindedly. Her thoughts briefly returned to the vampire Adrianna that she had met while drinking at her favorite bar downtown. However, Cassidy pushed thoughts of the woman from her mind as soon as Kitty began talking again.

She listened to her friend start talking. But when some kind of trouble came up, Cassidy's expression turned slightly puzzled. "Trouble? What kind of trouble?" the werewolf asked curiously, trying to find out what on earth had rattled Kitty so much that it would be so bothered by it. "The kind of problems it would cause the family would depend on what kind of trouble was caused. If its something simple, I can help."

Para made her way through the relatively calm city, simply enjoying the trip to Central Park. Her stroll was part of her routine, though it started in different places every time she made her way to her usual spot. Para didn't like being interrupted while she was in her routine, no matter what the reason was. As she strolled, she wondered if her companion was already at the spot, she had a habit of getting there very early. Para didn't mind, she just didn't like the idea that she would keep someone waiting. Para crossed the last street blocking her way to the park and sighed as she made it to the edge of the sidewalk. It was still very early, she wondered if she would be able to grab something to eat or drink before her companion got there. Her question was quickly answered as her spot came into view.

Smiling lightly, Para approached the park bench where she had been spending her afternoons to sunset for the past six years. The woman that was sitting there now was a new addition to her routine, having just sort of showed up one day before Para had gotten there. The two talked and quickly became friends, before she knew what had really transpired, Para suddenly had a companion on random days in the afternoon during her routine. Para smiled and sat down next to the woman and said, "Figures you'd be here this early Verona. And here I thought I'd be able to beat you here today." Para chuckled as she set her briefcase down next to her on the bench, starting to relax already, even though it was far earlier than normal for her routine. Para may have been a demon, and she saw that there was something a little off about Verona's soul, but she didn't ask her about who she was, content with having a friend to spend the afternoons with. She figured Verona didn't know she was a demon, mostly because of the fact that she was still around and hadn't run away screaming. Para was happy with the way things were at the moment, just two friends hanging out in the park on a regular basis.

Winslow

Finally happy to be out of the suit of the dead man he walked up out of his office an checked his mail. Finding nothing of particular interest he decided to pay the little lady with the pink hair a visit. He tossed the suit and mail into the dumpster outside and casually strolled down the way. He passed a woman in pin-stripes and much to his surprise another boss lady talking on a bench and gave them a casual hello before pulling his business card from his coat pocket. In an era where everyone seems to be stuck on dressing in their Sunday best he stuck out like a sore thumb in disregarding the suit and tie. He hated uniforms from his constant enrollment in armies and war all these centuries. "Tis with great respect I continue ta offer my services to you, as I offer 'em ta everyone. And an honor ta meet yah in person."

He had a voice like liquid gold with a mild British accent. His original accent long lost in the sands of time. Winslow smelled a lot like oranges and he gave a half smile as he looked into the boss woman's eyes, he noticed quickly she was blind. He'd seen a lot of blind people in his days with his own emerald pearls of eyes and like an old Spanish romance hero he slipped his card between her left ear as one might slip a rose into a girl's ear before doing an old fashioned tango. "Ta now, Ladies." He gave a wink to the lady in the suit and leaned down to whisper in Para's ear as he stepped away from Verona, "Be a dear and read that ta her if she asks yah to." he left them to their business as he was last seen slipping into the bakery a few buildings down for a donut and coffee. "Oi! Get me mah usual, please. Imma bit inna hurry ta visit someone very important." he said, to the person behind the counter. It was a good day to be alive.

(Currently gave a brief talk to Para and Verona before walking into a bakery.)

Our fathers were our models for God.

He was still asleep as She started Heating the Water and the Noise of it Mashed perfectly into his nightmare as the pot started To screech indicating it to be done Boiling the water He woke up Suddenly Pointing his gun in the Direction of the Screeching Then Noticing she was starting Coffee and that is what worked him up He Sighed as he stood up and looked around for her.

"Hey You in here?"

He said this as he Walked towards the Kitchen He had put his gun in the back of pants where he had Access to it if Absolutely necessary Though he had Hoped Nobody had been Able to follow them to his apartment with the Precautions he took to stay hidden and unnoticed, He then pulled out a little baggie from his pocket which had the hair form the mans body the wolf hair he had Found on his jacket After opening the big he Sniffed it again and then to air to make sure the wolf or any of it Counter parts were near.

"Did you make coffee? Been a while since Ive done that in here."

If our fathers bailed, what does that tell you about God?
OOC: Im leaving, sorry! Its just that im writing a bunch of nonsense and Carson is a completely different stage of the story. Good luck everyone.
"I'm here!" she called to him and She turned around with a cup in her hand and smiled while leaning up against the counter. She nodded and took a sip. "How often do you use this place if you don't even make coffee here...." she asked him between sips. Lilla turned to look out of the small window in the kitchen to the outside. "It's past three in the afternoon." she said offhandedly and took another sip again. She doubted anyone followed them and today she was suppose to go see some of her cousins. Her face brightened up a little bit and she put her cup down. She poured him one and handed it to him. " I put cream and sugar out over there..." she pointed on the other side of the kitchen near him and gave him another big smile. She liked smiling, and especially at him she was finding out. "What are you plans for today?" she asked him while picking her cup back up.

{ooc: aww sorry to see you go. You're always welcomed back!}

He took a sip of his Coffee as He normally Would drink it black with nothing else added as He enjoyed the taste of Coffee not the taste of everything that Covered it,When he heard Her Question He promptly answered "I don't get much free time in my line of work so Things like this a nice cup of coffee with a pretty lady, This is a rare Occasion." He planned on Quickly Hopping in the shower and going out to do what she had planned if anything as He had Given himself a Mission of Protection over this girl.

"Actually i was going to ask you the same thing as i have nothing planned whatsoever, How about you?"

He looked in her Direction with a smile Before Setting Down his Coffee and placing his gun on the Counter.

XXXXXXXXXXXXKitty lifted her head rubbing her forehead and then shook it. "Do you remember that British guy that was annoyingly coming here all the time." She then stood up and went to the bar to go back to her drink binge since she it was hard for her to get drunk. She poured herself another cup of Irish whiskey and took a nice sip from it before walking back to Cassidy. She sat at her feet and rested her back against her legs drinking it. "He was kind of charming but still annoying,' she then sighed since she might regret calling him annoying but still he was and didn't really deserve to die she just couldn't control her temper.

Verona Xevaic

Settled for a time at the bench Verona started to doze slightly as she listened to the sweet sounds that came from the trees, birds, and other strangers at the park. she did not come often, infact her time here was rather limited as well, so when she heard the familiar foot steps of a tall woman in size ten heals she was some what over joyed that Para had managed to find her early. "welcome" she said turning her head in the womans direction slightly before she had said something, "ah yes, you know, unpredictable time schedule and what not, dont know how long im going to be or where i might find myself" she said with a slight chuckle and was startled a moment as she heard an unfamiliar voice pick up not far from them, turning her head she was once more startled as she felt a hand brush by her ear and place a card in her hair. "excuse me?" she said reaching up for the card as he moved towards Para and running her fingers over the letters. she would have to take alot of time to figure out what the buisness card said but for the moment really didn't need to, "what is this Para?" she asked rubbing her cheek as she still felt the lingering trace of his fingers on her cheek bones.
"Para Dice"

Para blinked for a moment when the man not dressed in a suit addressed her and Verona. Her eyes narrowed angrily as she took stock of the Brit in front of them. His soul was older than his body reflected, and she noticed a particularly strong force surrounding his right arm; a force that could harm demons like her. Para very nearly lashed out at the man as he essentially poked fun at Verona’s condition. She didn’t like being interrupted, and she didn’t like it when people ridiculed her friends. She held herself back and managed a low growl at the impolite man. He may have acted cordially towards the both of them, but he had no manners if all he did was stroll up to people having a conversation and offered them his “services.”

Para wondered what said services were, but doubted that she personally would ever make use of them. She took the business card from Verona’s hand, her fingers brushing along Verona's skin before looking at the card. “Impolite son of a... I oughta teach him some manners.” Para read over the card and scoffed to herself, before replying, "Just some clown who thinks he's being funny. His card says he's a "Freelance Contractor" whatever that means. Says his name is Winslow, just Winslow." Para sighed and put the card in her suit's pocket, she didn't like the man, but someone in her family might need his services at some point or another. "If there's one thing I absolutely cannot stand, it's being interrupted. I don't mind too much if it's something important, but to be interrupted for something like that.... I'm not sure if I should be offended or angry, or both." Para sighed and leaned back on the bench, trying to relax and forget the impolite man's intrusion. She closed her eyes a moment and asked Verona, "You going to be here til sunset? I would enjoy the company."
