"If you don't make a few enemies in your life you're a coward or worse: boring."
- Knox couldn't help a bit of a smile when Yasei mentioned Pollux. He opted out of mentioning anything, and rather leaned back in his seat. He watched with minor interest as Yasei ran off to get him another drink. He found his head tilting to the side. He'd never put much thought into men, but the more he thought on it, the more he realized that he wasn't repulsed by the notion. And thats when he decided he'd let things go as they would. He popped the top off his new beer and took a sip, this time not offering any to his companion. Though he was tempted to get this man drunk, just to see what kind of changes it would bring to his behavior. For now, though, he just focused on drinking his beer. Taking the bottle from his lips, he let out a satasfied sigh then said, "I suppose I didn't introduce myself yet, have I? How rude of me. I suppose I am... Nobody. Nobody of importance." His smile grew, showing pearl white teeth. He wondered if Yasei knew of The Odessy and would understand the reference?
Either way, it didn't matter. Knox leaned forward, setting his beer down. With his elbows resting on the table, he gave a sly look and said, "what do people do for fun in this place, exactly? I'm afraid that I'm new here, and not quite sure what one does." Once again, he leaned back in his chair. Knox ran his hands through his hair and smirked. And then, the worst happened. His phone vibrated, once again, and his eye twitched. A single tense moments passed and he held up a hand to silence anything Yasei was going to say. He glanced at the text and shook his head. It was that damn woman again. He deleted the message and put the phone back in his pocket.
The whore was persistant, he would have to give her that much at least. So when the phone was away and his hopes she would shut up grew, he nodded and stood. "You know... why don't you introduce me to your boss? I admit, I've heard nothing but... interesting things about him." Interesting to say the least. He found that he enjoyed the idea of a dangerous man. While men were not his usualy, he'd already decided to make an exception for the night. And so, he held his hand out, suggesting for Yasei should lead the way to Pollux. He adjusted his jacket and made sure his phone was turned off - the first time he'd actually been unreachable in three years. A true thing of beauty, that was. And a freedom he once thought he'd never again enjoy.
