-Introduction-

Almost a decade ago the forces of Gaia's Government with the help of Law Enforcement, and Supernatural Strike Teams had to step in and thin the growing population of the Organization Military (O/M) and Free for All (FFA) areas of the map because of heavy unrest between the population and a multitude of never-ending War's that seemed to have no end. Many of the powerful groups were disbanded because of this and some warriors seemed to disappear and vanish entirely as the neglected land withered and dried up leaving only remnants of its glorious past that was full of conflict and teeming with life compared to its current state.

The Wastes are located just south of the industrial city of Aekea and consists of mostly dry desert land for thousands of miles with an oasis or two for some greenery and water, a few abandoned and dead buildings litter the landscape showing how desolate and dead the O/M and FFA of Gaia was now. A couple hundred miles to the west is the city of Avalon that had its own problems to deal with.

This long stretch of desolate land is known to some brave travelers hoping to avoid the main roads but it was a highly dangerous trek. The abandoned area was ripe for things to happen and power to rise with such a simple foundation to work upon.

This place was harsh and unforgiving but it was also a breeding ground for new settlements to appear and evolve aswell as serve as the backdrop for future warring factions because the land was so vast and had hidden value beneath the sand.

By conquering and taming this place would mean superiority over most of Gaia for someone seeking power and leverage but for it was just as it appeared to the naked eye abandoned desert land that only few creatures could make their habitat. Beneath the sand and rock were sometimes small caches of weapons and sometimes forbidden tombs of treasure, this place has many secrets and it seems to be stomping ground for beings and creatures of a harsh nature or attitude matching the surroundings. This place had no laws or rules and you could be stripped of anything and left for dead with no consequences so anyone would be wary to keep their eyes peeled and always watch their back.

This desert had a few rock formations every couple of miles giving it some shade or shelter but it was also a place for bandits or killers to hide in anticipation taking advantage of the higher position or using it for cover waiting to strike. The rock formations were average sized some as big as a three story house and some were like towers reaching upwards and thick like a tree trunk from the wind weathering it down over time.

Despite its empty look there are many abandoned settlements and old O/M buildings that organizations had given up on and left to dry out and crack in the blistering sun giving places for shade and shelter for wanderers and creatures alike. It seemed monsters and creatures of a supernatural nature liked this place because of its remote location and isolation or because it was a place to build a base or fortress with so many dead abandoned building left behind or destroyed in battles long a since past. The creatures of "Halloween town" to the west are known to frequent the area and a few tribes of Orc's and Trolls have also been seen trekking across and living in the wastes. Desert Dragons have been known to wander the wastes sometimes flying overhead, and some legends say massive Rock or Stone Giants as large as a buildings are asleep underneath the sand and ground of the surrounding area. Bandits riding dune buggy's, wandering Desert Dragons, and simply the harsh conditions were enough to make most give up and turn back before they even began.

-Geographical compass-

_______________[ North ]____________________

The North of the wastes was a bit more mountainous with many rock formations littering the landscape until it was almost like a wall of stone separating the desert land from the rest of Gaia with only a few mountain trails leading to the other side safely. Rock slides were common around here and many creatures took refuge in the mountains so it was hardly safer but it did provide cover and shade from the constant sun.

Abandoned Correctional Facility - This deserted facility is creepy and seemingly empty from the outside but within the sounds of screams and other weird noises can be heard. Skeletons littered the landscape around the broken wall around the building and it was a good place to scavenge for supplies or weapons aswell as get out of the sun.

Devils Canyon -

Deserted Highway 89 -

Crow Hill - A place where dreams can come true, or be destroyed by the harsh reality. Where the dry desert sands beat away at the unwelcome. Within this seemingly uninhabitable wasteland there is a town known as Crow Hill. It is a breeding ground for lawmen, bounty hunters, civilians and lowlifes alike.Within this land of seeming injustice all hell is kept under control by a band of bounty hunters and vigilantes known as the Crimson Despair, or called by some The Crow Watchmen.

Description:[ Crow Hill ] - (outer walls) A medium sized town lies on a plateau, nestled between two great mountains. The colossal giants, which even rumored to be inactive volcanoes cover the three sides of the city, the south side however, is guarded by a deep canyon a quarter mile away from the city walls. The canyon is 50ft across and 500ft deep, with a rushing blue river at the bottom. In addition to these natural barriers the town is walled in by a 35ft. tall wall made completely of onyx, a hard rock like substance, which is nearly indestructible. The wall is nearly a 3 feet thick and circles the whole town. Behind the town are the mines which was the main source of the onyx.

[ Crow Hill ] - (inner walls) Within its Onyx walls is the city commonly called Crow Hill. For the most part it is a normal city, complete with a movie theater, bar, a few homes, an inn etc. It also has a large shooting range and jail, for the prey, which was left alive, but most likely will fall by the ropes of the gallows which are located in the center of the town. Toward the back of the town is the sheriffs office. The top floor is basically a normal room, with several chairs and a counter. The basement is the dark damp jail cells. Unless the light switch is turned on, there is no light within the area. In each call there is a toilet, with no seat, a bed, usually covered in stains ranging from vomit to blood, and various insects(get your nets!!) and rodents crawl across the damp moldy floor. The only thing that isnt ragged are the bars, which has electricity running through them. The cells are only 10x10ft, so if you were thinking of busting out with explosives, you wont make it out alive. The base of the Crimson Despair his hidden partly within this town, its exact location is hidden to all non-members.

[ Crimson Despair HQ ]
The base is basically an underground mansion, located within one of the mountains witch lies to the left of town. The mine tunnles are the most widely used entrance/exit. The mansion itself has three floors.[ Floor 1 ] The main floor, you will see this upon entering the guild. This floor breaks off into home modeled areas like the kitchen and living room.[ Floor 2 ] This floor holds the armory and all training facilities. A shooting range, a dojo, the usual and needed training is held here. Any type of special training is done on your own.[ Floor 3 ] Here is where the members quarters.

_______________[ Center/Middle ]___________________

The very center of the wastes was a large settlement of old buildings and shelters littering the landscape for miles from the many organizations and groups of warriors that used to frequent the area known as the O/M but now it was left to decay and the land turned into a barren waste. The rest of that area was mostly flat desert with an oasis or two for a water source but bandits trolls and orcs were known to scavenge the area. A large makeshift wall has been built in the center of the wastes keeping outsiders from entering with a massive Dead city within populated with lots of abandoned buildings.

_______________[ East ]____________________

The East of the wastes had more rock formations reaching up past the sands with some claiming rock giants sometimes wander or sleep in these parts with the massive footprints left behind to prove it. This area is dense with different types of cacti and since water is gold out here in the wastes they are commonly drained and used to keep people hydrated. This area also has many types of mineral types imbedded in the rock and ground leading a few creatures and humans to start digging and making mine shafts.

Quarry - An abandoned quarry was located in the east with most of the the cranes and heavy equipment still in the same place after the Desert Dragons cleared out the human population leaving only charred skeletons. It is unknown what type of precious minerals or ores might be within the chiseled rock.

Abandoned mines - Carved into the sides of rocky mountainsides the mines lead down beneath the ground for a couple miles with their own metal railway track system with mine carts and everything leaving it for others who could brave the harsh environment. It was perfect for shelter or finding treasure.

Steel Mountain - A western type town with a saloon and a general store bringing many prospectors and scavengers through the area aswell as trucks using the main dirt road. They had a expedition team in the area that constructed the town for the workers supplying water and digging for the precious materials beneath the ground. No longer just a small military camp the town of Steel Mountain was quickly growing thanks to the abundance of metal ores in the nearby mountains. Supplying the Black Phoenix army with a majority of it's steel and iron helped keep the town running. Now slowly other markets were presenting themselves to the people of Steel Mountain and this barren wasteland was quickly turning into a oasis paradise for those seeking fortune and fame.

Abandoned Oil Rig - Is a massive abandoned rig that is held up over the ground a couple hundred feet with a large center cylinder in the middle that is still constantly searching and churning looking for oil even though the workers are all gone or dead. It is now a nest for Desert Dragons with many of them perched around it and sleeping within the Rig using it as a fortress and breeding ground flying and circling overhead spitting flames into the air.

______________[ West ]___________________

The West of the wastes was your typical desert with lots of yellow golden sand and hills of it stretching all the way towards the second nearest city being Avalon on the outskirts of Barton Forest just a few hundred miles below the city of Durem. Sandstorms were known to kick up out of nowhere but the good thing is that many little watering holes and merchants selling water was enough to give travelers some hope of getting through without dying of dehydration.

*Places that make up the Dead City*
_______________

The GPD The Old Gaia Police Department of Barton town was destroyed and the rubble and debris relocated to the Dead City of Babylon once it was nothing but a shell of its former self having to make way for the new departments to have their turn at trying to protect serve and keep order.

Description: The building itself was now burnt from the inside out leaving little more than the charred foundation left behind and the front doors were gone accessed only by a small flight of stairs leading up to the open entrance. Metal Detectors, Aura detection, bio readout systems were either destroyed or offline in the buzz-in room just beyond the entrance showing its level of tech compared to most Police Departments. The second floor holds the Guncage, which doubles as the Evidence Locker, a few small rooms in case an officer needs a place to stay for the night, and the Locker rooms. The rooms appear mostly like hotel rooms, and remain locked at all times unless an officer gains authorization to use one. The Guncage holds all GPD sanctioned weaponry and gear, not to mention any evidence, though its not sure if any of that has been left untouched by scavengers and treasure hunters.
_______________

City of Oblivion The city is long-abandoned due to coal-fires that have long-since burned out in this ghost town once under the control of the Demonic being known as "Desecrator" but now it was claim to anyone. The only troubles you'll find here now are the occasional aberration still wandering the streets and hiding in the buildings.

Description: Just your typical Silent hill type town complete with fog and smoke that appears from beneath the town filling the streets and hiding the dangers lurking within. The place has a weird displacement about it almost sinister in nature when people traversed the empty streets giving it an Evil vibe. They had many stores and buildings stocked with products and brand new items that seemed abandoned and not looted just ripe for the picking for anyone desperate enough.
______________

The Coltello Mafia The Old Mansion built by Franklin Coltello had long since been abandoned and decay had set in on the fine wood and some of the foundation showing its age. Nicolas Coltello was the Don before the Organization was disbanded but now he was nowhere to be found and its many enemies used this opportunity to trash and desecrate the building.

Description: The massive mansion used to be beside a grape vineyard to the west of the house but that had long since dried up along with the rose bushes and small trees leaving just dead black wood sticking out of the ground. The property is completely surrounded with a large victorian style steel fence, standing eight feet tall, with a single swinging door crossing the path though there were multiple holes in the fence now. A large fountain right infront of the entrance had been destroyed crumbling the stone structure and it was littered with spray paint tags giving the idea that the building had been raided by its rivals or enemies.

Oni Waban Originally the Oni Waban, was the Oni Waban Crew, a group of the Shunobu Clan's top assassins which attacked and destroyed many guilds during the Shunobu Era. They were above the anbu and were feared by most, led by their fearless leader Shadow Rinzyu, known by most as simply Lyger. After Shunobu's destruction the Oni Waban had its own reign of power, destroying guilds at will but they had no real direction or reason. Eventually the complex was destroyed by Kyetino and most of the Oni, including Lyger, disappeared.

Description: The floating Island had now fallen to Gaia and slammed into the barren earth creating a sort of upscale hill with a village but the only way into the village is through a vast forest that seems to be supernatural in nature keeping it flourishing with plant and animal life despite the harsh desert. At the very outside of edge of the forest is a very calm and peaceful area, birds chirping and what not. However as you get deeper and deeper it begins to seem almost... evil containing many illusions mirages, and traps. The Village Interior is a general plainy/grassland area, with huts that serve as dwelling quarters as well as others such as the "Elemental Library" There are books for all elements, some speak of the symbols and the runes and what they mean, some of history behind them, and some about elements on a broader scale and even elementals. It also has many books on combined elements, such as chaos, fate, and illusion among others. Another hut not as big as the alchemic library but still rather important to the village is the armory though it is not determined if these places are left untouched.
________________

The Pendragon Syndicate Hartia Pendragon and his twin brother Orphen grew up together making their own unique fighting style so in each tournament they attended they could only beat one another defeating all opponents. He wasnt going to be evil, but do what was best for his members, himself, and the guild at hand. His main objective was to maintain order in the FFA through persuasion of power. He will crush those who opposed him and take few allies in the process of building this newly created empire.

Description: The Organization had the funds to create and almost indestructible foundation from a special type of steel so that the building would never fall in battle but that couldnt stop it from being left behind and abandoned while random Raiders Slavers and creatures used the large building for shelter. With multiple floors and a basement this fortress was ripe for any group that needed a base of operations within the area and it was possible they still had weapons on the second floor in the "Armory" and possibly some left over alcohol on the third floor..

Lethal Frost Conquest Looming in the nothern part of Gaia above the city of Durem for a decade seemed to bother some residents making them hire private contractors while they used massive cranes like the one in Aekea and trucks to move the massive ice fortress to the Barren Wastes like discarded trash. The large castle, stretching twenty stories high, can be seen in its ominous glory to all who come within three hundred feet of it now looming over desert sand instead of white tundra. This massive structure is but a small token of the Lord known as Seta Frost's mighty power. It is unknown if the Ice user was dead for sure or not but his castle has been neglected in his absence ever since and left to simply crack and crumble with age while the cold almost below zero temperatures associated with him were slowly fading from the structure getting tired of fighting the environment.

The Scrapyard This is where everything is thrown into, eventually. It actually consists of a whole bunch of different yards put together. A large place for compostable trash. Another for metal. Another for rubber. Despite the grime, blood, and muck around the place, which the general odor, if one thinks carefully, it is quite organized, in a general 'throw this piece here' sort of way. And thus, the rogues, the misfits, and the poor come here, to feast on the treasures hidden along the junk heaps. Of course, eventually someone had to come and see the potential. A man, by the name of Gregorovitch Von Schlictersans came buy, and stole all the technology. He built himself a new body, into a very large gargantuan beast, considered invincible to most of the inhabitants of the Scrapyard. He organized the Scrapyard Soldiers, in order to defend their home base, as well as bring more supplies home. Through ruling the world, he will have more resources and power under his control in which to situate the perfect robotic human hybrid. Though the Leader was now either dead or missing in action leaving only remnants.

Description: After the entrance, the immediate area in the junk heap, where various objects and miscellaneous matter are placed, such as plastic, toys, Styrofoam, mattresses, and the like are place. In the middle, is a large cabin made of wood, metal, and such, reinforced with thick steel sheets on the inside, where the Guard stay and keep the entrance safe. [ Decomposition Yard ] Here, the biodegradable objects are placed here, like food. It smells horrible, not to mention not a very stable place. In reality, it is a 30 foot deep pit, only the pile of food rises up higher than though level. Beware, for here, it is very easy to sink down in the decay, and it sucks you in, much like a mud sinkhole in the everglades of Earth. Entrance is located on the west mini gate of the Junk Heap. [ Metal Yard ] The Metal Scrapyard covers the west wall of the Scrapyard, and is filled with random sheets and blocks of metal, as well as technology. This is considered the most important area of the Scrapyard, and is heavily defended with trained animals from outside the complex, as well as it being the living quarters for many of the Scrapyard Soldiers, evident with the number of makeshift homes and tents around the place. Attacking this place head-on is like running headlong into an army without too much backup, as many of them have stolen technology already grafted onto them and such. Despite the size of this area, the piles are still very, very large, and are likely to topple over with enough agitation. [ The Facility ] The courtyard around the facility are where the rest of the grunts, the 'newbies' are situated, living around the main source of power and electricity itself. On the inside, it is a hazardous area, filled with powerful gears, pits, and sharp objects. Other than the one large room on the first floor, there is a corridor that leads to the stairs up. The second floor is a very large laboratory where most of the prosthetics and enhancements are done. The surgeons who also perform such surgeries used to live here, and were powerful in their own right, as well as those who protect the facility with long range attacks using guns and the like. Third floor contains the minor armory, accessible to all the Soldiers. Fourth floor is is where Gregorovitch and his trusted disciples live, and they sit on constructed and improvised thrones, with a door behind the thrones (which is hidden by Gregorovitch's large seat) where the better armory is, with the high-tech prosthetics and weapons, such as small beam cannons, and plasma chainsaws are situated. Most of this is stolen technology, and in still good condition.

The SPYDER Faction Long ago, Hell took it upon itself to forge the most powerful name that anyone ever heard across the lands. The name was Spyder, and the leader of this most frightful faction was Salfazar. He was pure evil until one day the right person came along and changed his heart. Her name was Angel, and it was not known to him, but they were brother and sister by blood. He loved her with all of his heart and she loved him, and together they became what is now left of this dreaded place. The Spyder was the reason that the world that surrounded it is the way that it is. Corrupted, violent, evil. But ever since the reign of the Spyder came to a stop, the world has been silent.

There are thousands, of hidden rooms and compartments throughout the castle from the length of time the castle has consumed. It is wider than it is taller, so the many sections of it make it hard to completely decimate. There is a very large red eye on the top of the castle, that is constantly flaming. Inside of this castle, you see hundreds and hundreds of spiraling stairs that lead to places that could be dangerous. Enchantments were placed long ago to stop enemies from transporting in and out the castle and castle grounds. The only way to reach the castle of the Spyder is by foot. Five large demons called Oni constantly surround the building looking for intruders, and two Hellfire Battlemages stand at the entrance, two at the top, and two at the back. Should you gain entrance to the guild, creatures are constantly about.

It is a massive structure adorned with Runic symbols and guarded by magic and technology both. There are two entrances for participants, one on the east, another to the west. Both entrances read "Enter at Your Own Risk" on the top. The halls lead to staging areas, where you can decide what or who you will fight. The staging areas lead to the main floor, which stretches the entire length and can be seen from the balconies.

The Confederation of the FFA This guild is to represent all guilds within an alliance. The members of this specific guild can act as defenders of guilds within this confederation if needed. Hopefully they will be mostly welcomed to most benevolent guilds. This place can also serve as a neutral meeting ground in between guilds leaders/members. In short, this guild may see both lots of fighting, and helping other guilds. Its dreams never came to be and the confederation is now just another forgotten failure.

Description: The guild base is composed of a main building, five stories in height. The first story is the main lobby, and the remaining four upper stories are composed of offices and the like. To the side of the main building, is where the barracks is located. A breezeway extends from the lobby in the main building to the barracks' porch. Inside the barracks is meager, but suitable lodgings for short stays, complete with bunk-beds and plenty of bathrooms. In the main hallway of the barracks is a trap door leading to an underground training room, controlled by a high-tech computer that cooperates with a magical enchantment to provide any type of situation to train in, contained only within the room. Also in the main hallway of the barracks, there are many weapons lockers of many sizes to hold the occupants' weapons. On the other side of the main building is a nondescript vehicle bay, equipped with the proper tools for maintaining and storing various vehicles.

Steele Republic Ever since the "Steele Great Depression", which started when Vyse Steele made the SS and finished just after Torran left the Steele Syndicate Reborn, A handful of SS soldiers have secretly been running the SS. They made ambush's and other assults against evil based guilds. They followed Torran Steele and lived quite happily but Torran was too busy for such business. He wanted to be with his daughter Tanya Steele and her boyfriend where he would live peacefully aside them. Vyse left for exploring of the world and Torran had to leave the SS behind...but to who? The last of the Steele's had been killed off so no one was left alive....or was there?. Rumours have spread about "Vid Steele", never had he told anyone except the Steele family his second name. He was going to be part of an opperation. One day the Steele family would be killed off or have to leave and so they needed one relative to stay hidden. Not hidden but just his name until he was called back to the throne of the S empire or the SS was in need of defending. Vid was given his own band of men and were to stay away just incase. These men were evntually known as the Bandits but the plan went very wrong. Him and his men were called to fight in the great war of our time... The Steele Syndicate vs The Spyder Faction. Now to you old members this should explain a few things. One question is were are the Bandits? Vids men were unvortantly killed during a wedding at the SS. A surprise attack during the holidays and a wedding. Most soldiers were not there so the Bandits had to defend alone and were whiped out when Taimie Steele made a desprate attempt to destroy the enermies with a holy blast of death. So in the end you know that Vid is the only member of the family who can take the "crown".

Description: The walls are made of a composite material that is similar in composition to Adamantium but gives off the apperance of black marble. The walls are extremely sturdy against all kinds of attacks. As you walk towards the main entrance of the Steele Mansion you see some stone stairs, going up off the ground about 6 feet. The main doors are 10 foot high and appear to be steel but they are infact made of stone. The door is 1 meter thick and 80% of that is stone, in the center of the thick doors is a layer of metal as strong as mythril. Incarved into the doors are the letters "SS", one "S" per door. On each "S" is a door knocker to inform the people at the other side to open it up. The door can't be opened with just one man's strength. you would need much more and thats why on the inside of the door are Ox-like creatures which are tied to this large door but they are long since dead and are mere skeletons. Once past the doors you will walk down a corridor. After walking ten meters the corridor open up into a hall. This hall will be used as an ambush area. The mansion is not made for an outpost however it can still be used as one and has many advantages to it. Ahead is double doors. Spiraling left and right is two sets of stairs, both leading to the second floor where the Barracks and weaponry rooms are located. The next floor (3rd) above that is the Medical rooms. The 4th floor is where the rooms will be for people and guests to sleep and live. Above that is some kind of attic which leads to the highest towers but is locked off with a door similar to the main doors. On the first floor, left of the main entance is the living area and to the left is the kitchens and servants corners. Inside is the throne room. There are several statue's located around the castle, these are of the relatives of Steele family, except Kiro Hoto's. Kiro Hoto's is like the others, The same size as Kiro and made of stone, But he is holding a sword in his hands. The sword is facing down and the end of the blade touch's the ground. The sword is a white bladed, blue handled angelic blade. Under the Statue is a plaque which says: " Kiro Eleric Hoto I" The discarded building has been raided and trashed by rivals with holes in some of the walls and ceilings aswell as graffiti sprayed all over the interior.

The Warmakers This castle of another warring faction in Gaia was also relocated from the north to the Wastes though it was in much worse condition and was not fully intact like it once was. A few elaborate rooms like the library were still intact but whole sections of it had broken off in transport and when they delivered the stone pieces they roughly tossed them down to the sand close to the Steele Syndicate Mansion.

Description: The Doors to enter the castle were long gone and it seemed the stone of the fortress had been weathered down and smoothed from the air and sandstorms in the desert environment. Some of the Towers were still standing reaching high into the air and the throne room also seemed to be untouched possibly leaving valuable things behind such as treasure or weapons.

Exile Mercenaries Exile Mercenaries are a hard fighting and active group of warriors dedicated to one another. To be a part of Exile you must view your fellow warriors as brothers and sisters. That was the motto they lived by before they disappeared completely without a trace leaving an entire city behind turning it into a quiet ghost city with no one to populate it.

Description: The entrance to the city of Tikal is before you, sporting a wrought-iron gate of sleek black. This is the only accessible way of gaining entry to the city that served as the home of the Exile Mercenaries. Merging from either side of the gate was a rather tall stone wall of a slate-gray color. Before you is a labyrinth of streets and alleyways, bordered by tall buildings covered in climbing ivy. You see no recognizable pattern in the street’s layout, but you move on nevertheless. In the center of the city there is a large courtyard. In the center of this is a large fountain, with a statue center. The stone depicted a large raven on its back, quailing from the wrath of a fearsome yet glorious soldier, who was holding a spear at the bird's chest. This was obviously symbolic of the city's beginnings. Around the sparkling fountain are booths and tables of all shapes and sizes, bearing merchant wears.

Malachite Fortress Upon reaching the Free For All region of Gaia, Dyne Luel Tazon, realized the legend he was named after, had fallen in combat. Which irked him greatly, he decided to travel through guild after guild, only to find that wherever he went, all he saw were people using their minds to underhandedly defeat their enemies. Something the human lacked, these people were Psionicists, people who distorted the fabric of the Gaian Realm, and simply make combat ridiculously hard and mind numbing. These mind benders were growing in number and needed to be stopped. But the young warrior lacked the hammer and nail to start with, untill he found himself face to face with a completely empty city, a ghost city. Not a trace of the inhabitants' disappearance, Dyne would call this city Bad Luck City, and would then proceed to make it his home, and the home to all who wished to defeat the psionic hordes, and all who side along with them. As the first Psionicist Hunter, Dyne Luel Tazon has begun his mission to revert the Free For All into a state of swords, bow and arrows, guns, magic, mecha, but not planar, psionics, kinesis. Which was an utter waste of time. Dyne gave up on the now seemingly foolish conquest, now returning to the first guild within the Gaian realm he had entered. Malachite Fortress. It was empty, but intact. No defenses, besides the wall and the bridge within the fortress. Dyne would claim this place, his.

Description: The perimeter of the Malachite Fortress is but a once flourished ecosystem, now disfigured into a vast wasteland. It rarely rains within the wasteland which is also a cause to little to no form of physical life within the wasteland. (Good luck trying to "live off the land." ) At the center, is a structure, only known as the Malachite Fortress, scars of battle litter the perimeter about it, but it remains intact. The building is oddly shaped, with appendages sticking about the fortress, these are wings to dorms and such. A twenty foot wall surrounds this structure, all around in a square 150 yards away. The fortress is at the center. Diamond doors glorify the entrance as the black sheen of the structure shines in both Moon and Sun light.

The Galvados Edward Valour III, a man who survived many trials, many fights, and a man who always pushed the limits. He trusted very few people, and he loved the anarchy created by war. Edward had returned to the place he was imprisoned, He had killed off the warden, and he had taken it over. He forced the scientists to work on advanced technology, Technology he found and saw on his travels. He forced the scientists to perfect it, to refine it, and to use it. They succeeded... The pinnacle of Edward's fortune... The strongest vessel upon the seas... The Galvados was born. Assembling the best warriors from the prison, ranging from murderers to military deserters, he took them all under his command. Boarding the Galvados, he began a great journey, to delve the world of Gaia into a state of complete Anarchy!

The massive ship now rests in the middle of the Wastes as if it fell out of the sky and crash landed into the barren dirt and sand.

Description:The Galvados is a massive ship that is covered in metal plating made of refined Trinium, a metal that is normally very brittle but when refined it can become 100 times lighter and stronger then steel. Because of the rarity and cost of this material, there is currently only a single layer of this plating, but it is enough to stop some of the strongest projectiles. The ship is designed to look like a late 18th century flagship, but with fewer masts, and fewer sails. The ship itself, the internal make up of the ship, is made mainly of simple Victorian oak wood. Most of the technology used is basic earth technology that has been refined and perfected by some of the top scientific minds. The generator used to power this behemoth of a ship is called the Trident Generator. [ Floor Zero: ] The main deck of the ship. The top most part of the ship here people can stand. Not a lot up here besides the three main masts, the helm, and a small area for some solar panels. [ Floor One: ] The first floor of the ship. On this floor there are a few rooms, mainly training rooms and lounges. There is a bar/lounge on this floor, a gym, and a weapons training room, along with a small armory, and a storage room. [ Floor Two: ] The second floor of the ship. This floor is more like the entertainment floor, complete with a mini-casino, restaurants, basketball court, pool, and many other things.[ Floor Three: ] The third floor of the ship. On this floor there are mainly the crew quarters. There are enough rooms for all of the crew members, so the exact number of rooms is unknown.[ Floor Four: ] The fourth floor of the ship. This floor is mainly used for weapons storage, working, and other things. There is a blacksmiths workshop on this floor, along with smaller separate workshops for armor and weapons. A workshop for many things is also on this floor, with materials and tools for gunsmithing, and crafting jewelry.[ Floor Five: ] The fifth floor of the ship. This floor is used for supplying food to the ship, along with food storage, so when on long trips lasting months, and possibly years, the ship can literaly support itself for an indefinate period of time. There is a small farm on this floor for animals, along with a small hydroponic farm to grow all sorts of produce. Several other homeostasis rooms are on this floor, mainly for growing produce and farming animals that require specific environments to survive.[ Floor Six: ] The sixth floor of the ship. This floor houses the generator, energy reserves, main engines, and various other devices including the computer system that controls the homeostasis and life support systems. [ Floor Seven: ] The seventh floor of the ship is a closely guarded secret. It is locked off from the rest of the ship. No one knows whats down there. This ship has the unique ability to float upon air, becoming classified as an air ship.

The Cabal The story is a simple one, and one most everyone is familiar with. The call of power, and wealth. It brings us to this purpose, and we intend to do all in our power to make a name for ourselves. The Cabal was created by Mingan, and Shin, two fighters from their own home-realms who've come to Gaia. We seek those who want to fight, who know how to do it, and those who would hire us to use our talents. How was it formed? This is fairly simple to answer. On a day of days, the idea simply struck Shin, to use his talents for something other than wanton destruction. Surely there were others who craved battle, and wanted to find it in the same manner as he. He spoke with Mingan, a recent friend, and together they began building the plans for the Cabal.

Description: The Cabal is located upon the dead wasteland and this plain stretches in every direction for some number of miles. A caravan of supplies, a few campfires, and several magical transport devices carrying the spoils of war were the simple base set up for The Cabal living upon the desolate land. These days the area has been picketed almost clean by scavengers and bandits.

The Desert's Last BreathThe FFA has fallen apart. Something must be done, now. This place, once filled with valiant heroes and corrupted villains is now a desolate wasteland with a minute population. What happened to us? The questions is clear, the answer is vague- but from the question and the certainty that there must be an explanation comes a solution. We must find a suitable place to role play, a serious haven for those who live and breath battle, a haven for the role players who want so much more than a bloody fight, a haven where there is action, motivation, plot development, and most of all, fun. This entity will not simply come to us, it will not simply appear, or one day knock on our front doors. We must create it, we must put the best minds of the FFA together to create a community where epic things happen, on and off the battle field. I cannot do this alone, I am just creating a corner stone for that empire that we must build together. Help me return what was once here, what we all loved, and what we all miss. The desert would only grow dryer as the years passed. An unsettling wind and a familiar taste embellished the air with the scent of death. For miles and miles nothing would be seen but desolation, a steady declination of life upon this poor planet. The lakes had dried, the trees had whithered, and the populace was no more. The scorching sun raped this once beautiful domain and turned it into The Devil Stomach.

Description: Far past the reaches of Durem or Barton Town lies a vast, unexplored desert. The rest of the major cities in Gaia are all reminicent of old, dead guilds, forgotten castles, and armories ready to explode at any minute. None of those places would be suitable for resurrection, and therefor Taigeku traveled. Wandering under the desert sky, Taigeku had finally found a decent place to build the corner stone of this new era, which would ultimately bring life to a forgotten lifestyle. After many, many days of grueling work, and little sleep, Taigeku had finally constructed some what of a shanty out in the middle of the desert. How was this little sand encrusted house of wood and nails suppose to bring life back to a dying culture? It was simply a stepping stone, a brace for a much large scheme to come. The desert is hot, very hot. A hydrated man could perhaps live for two days, maybe three without food or water before dying a horrible death of dehydration and heat exhaustion. Rolling hills and large windswept sandstone pillars liter the desert surrounding the small shanty. The shack was of moderate size, holstering in it four rooms, one bathroom, and a kitchen/ living area. Small beds in the four rooms with three dressers and small windows of poorly made glass, over looking the vast desert.

Name: Crosis Shadowguild
Sexe: Male
Species: Draconian
background: HAving come of age 2 years back, he settled with wandering the sand. Crosis survives by scavenging what he can for money and moving at night for food, He has developed a hightened sense of hearing over the years and now heads for the fabled Aaeka.
Weapons: Ka-bar and Compound bow

As the sun set Crosis slowly came to, he had not moved since falling asleep in the early morning. He waited until the sun sank giving way to teh cool air of the night. s'about time.. slowly he sat up, sand falling off of him and his facemask, his gear was built to stay under a small layer of sand during the heat of day.

Gotta make time.. he had gotten into the habit of talking to himself to stop from going proverbially insane. Crosis pulled out his worn compass and tapped it a few times, the needle danced as he moved. content with the result he started walking.

[ Wow someone posted. Feel free to Rp anything as needed to further your character. If you need more descriptions etc. feel free to let me know. Id like to make this place popular. ^^ ]

arrow The Barren Wasteland

This long stretch of desolate land is known to some brave travelers hoping to avoid the main roads but it was a highly dangerous trek. Bandits riding dune buggy's, wandering Desert Dragons, and simply the harsh conditions were enough to make most give up and turn back before they even began.

Despite its empty look there are many abandoned settlements and old O/M buildings that organizations had given up on and left to dry out and crack in the blistering sun giving places for shade and shelter for wanderers and creatures alike.

Nimble Hunter

((of course i posted smile why wouldnt I ))

The sound of a brisk wind hid his footsteps in the sand, it was said that once you choose to head off into the wastes there is no turning back. Not because of the raiders or dangers but because once you get going, the wind covers up your footsteps effectively making you lost. damned wind.. damned sand..

Every once in a while Crosis would stop and look around for anything: lights, sounds, shapes. Anything and everything could be a danger out here, and even more so with nothing to hide behind. Seeing a small shape partially buried in the sand well i'll be, another one.. his voice only a whisper with no one else to hear it. another soldier.. The wastes were constantly changing, it was not uncommon for it to reveal a body or two of wars past, sometimes they even had equipment to sell.

Crosis examined the corpse for equipment, with a sigh he picked the body of stuff before continuing on his way. Once more, no ammo, no weapons... it was picked clean. He readjusted his gear then checked his compass, north was still the direction to go as he started walking again.

arrow The Barren Wasteland

This place was harsh and unforgiving but it was also a breeding ground for new settlements to appear and evolve aswell as serve as the backdrop for future warring factions because the land was so vast and had hidden value beneath the sand.

By conquering and taming this place would mean superiority over most of Gaia for someone seeking power and leverage but for it was just as it appeared to the naked eye abandoned desert land that only few creatures could make their habitat. Beneath the sand and rock were sometimes small caches of weapons and sometimes forbidden tombs of treasure, this place has many secrets and it seems to be stomping ground for beings and creatures of a harsh nature matching the surroundings.

It seemed monsters and creatures of a supernatural nature liked this place because of its remote location and isolation or because it was a place to build a base or fortress with so many dead abandoned building left behind or destroyed in battles long a since past. The creatures of "Halloween town" to the west are known to frequent the area and a few tribes or Orc's and Trolls have also been seen trekking and living in the wastes.

Nimble Hunter

Crosis walked through the desert at night, it was cool and comfortable. Mostly left alone at night, he prefered his travels this way. The only downside to travelling at night were the fact that his eyes had become rather sensitive to sunlight but very good in low light situations. come on.. there has to be something He kept walking north as the glow of sunrise slowly creeped upon the sand. for ******** sakes

he readjusted the bow on his back and crouched on one knee to make a hole in the sand,he stuck an arrow into the hole so hte shaft would stick up. he then tied a rope from the shaft that led to 2 feet away, from there he dug another hole and prepared his "daytime gear".

Once the other hole was prepared, he tied the other end of the rope to his right index finger. as the sun rose he pulled out his ka-bar and held onto it as he buried himself in a "shallow grave" to sleep. heres to another night

Consumer

arrow The Wasteland

In the middle of the wastes was a large settlement of old buildings and shelters littering the landscape for miles from the many organizations and groups of warriors that used to frequent the area known as the O/M but now it was left to decay and the land turned into a barren waste. The rest of that area was mostly flat desert with an oasis or two for a water source but bandits trolls and orcs were known to scavenge the area.

To the East were more rock formations and hills reaching up past the sands with some claiming rock giants sometimes wander or sleep in these parts with the massive footprints left behind to prove it. The "Pin Cushion" was an area infested with skinny pointy tree-like rock formations acting like nails or pins pointing upwards from the desert land stretching for miles on end giving some people a place to explore or use as a battle ground.

To the West was your typical desert with lots of sands and hills of it stretching all the way towards the second nearest city being Avalon. Sandstorms were known to kick up out of nowhere but the good thing is that many little watering holes and oasis could be found giving travelers some hope of getting through without dying of dehydration.
