Gelmax
((Because you are, quite frankly, an annoyance - and no more.))

((How is that?))
((No, I was thinking more along the lines of being a royal p***k to just about everybody you come in contact with. I do it, but with a sense of wit about it, and I'm usually not serious unless its a whore like yourself. Criminals may not have to respect cops IC, but you had damn sure better respect your betters.))

((Well, for one, right ******** now you're annoying everyone who is trying to RP at the GPD and a couple of people who are lurking, yet you and your guild are not a real threat to a starving mouse, let alone any of our characters. You have come in here and begun to OOCly pester myself and Tacitus, disrupting the RP here and interrupting Tac, Bane, Razbo, and more. I have no authority here, but I do think the correct response for this situation is "get the ******** out".))

((Why has the GPD not taken you down? Because you and your guild are a bunch of pussies who have summarily declared that anything you can't handle is against the rules. I swear to ******** god the Royal Flush Mafia's rules state "Do not attack with things we cannot defend against". And that is why everyone is better than you weak piles of unworthy, wasted flesh.))
((*insert an actually agreement with Gelgel* And furthermore, I am, and always will be your better. The GPD has yet to take you down because to the GPD as a whole, you don't exist. Now if you'll please, Gelgel's statement of GTFO stands. Further OOC on your part will get another mule banned.))

((All i heard there was "Blah blah blah, I suck" Bring it Gelmax, Everyone acts like there scared of you, just bring it. pirate ))
((Wow what A bunch of punks just talking crap. If you want to take someone down you have to have more skill than them and stop talking crap. Show your damn skill and prove yourselfes.))
((Coming from a guild which bans magic and NPCs? Despite the fact that I prefer magic to technology, and NPCs to single combats? But, that's just fine. I've got alternate characters. It will take a matter of moments to find the files in which I stored their armaments, and moments more to end your pathetic farce of a mafia.))

Cleric Pei
((Looks fine.))

An accelerando symphony began to play for Dmitry in order to hasten his decision, orchestrated by a chorus of SMGs, and the percussion of the helicopter's heavy-caliber supressive fire. Red lasers danced into the abandoned end of the alleyway like phantom conductor's batons, all of them zeroed straight down the narrow hallway. It was a testament to the quality of their performance that none of the shots ricocheted on the walls or the pavement, nor did any of them strike the wounded inspector.

Even in the scant time it had taken for the cover fire to break out, Pei had been able to latch open his revolver's wheel, thrust a bloodsmeared speedloader at it, and chamber the wheel with its newly loaded cartridges back into place. With his initial shock held at bay by conditioned biofeedback, the inspector braced the back of his free hand against his firing hand, and proceeded to join in with an improvised solo in the direction where the perpetrator had sprinted off. The first round of bullets had been a chops warmup.

A quick turn down the street and all the bullets behind were void, connecting with trees and parked cars across the street. Limping at a steady pace he found his escape. A car marked "Joe's Pizza" was left running out in front fo an apartment complex. Hastily making his way to the car, Dmitriy got in; he was gone in seconds. Now he'd have to meet with his better and explain what went wrong.
Spent brass trinkled toward the crackled asphalt, clinking off of the stunned inspector's prone form. It seemed that gravity had taken a heavier liking to him than for anything else at the moment, his collapse marked by a swath of congealing cadmium ichor that ran along the wall like the first stroke of a long mural. By now the perpetrator was either home free or bled dry. The latter of which Pei was steadily heading towards. His pulse spattered out what was left of his bloodstream like liquid rice at an imaginary wedding. Instead of a puddle, the outline of its pool had ran against either side of the narrow alleyway. With nowhere left to run, it changed directions, crawling along the tiny crervices between wall and ground.

The magnum still caught in a death-grip for no particular reason, Pei rolled over a bit onto his side, his ensaguined coat producing a sopping and crackly sound like half-dried glue in the process. His bandaged left arm moved awkwardly down to his waist, as it did not seem to belong to him, possessed by an invisible fiend playing with a lever like a claw in a plush toy machine.
Tall and thin mushroom-clouds of vapor shot up from the iron exhaust grates, wreathing the alleyway in white fallout. Something like infintessemal droplets of quicksilver perspired upon all surfaces. Perhaps it was simply on a trick of the neon moonlight upon the gathering moisture. It died off soon enough.

What certainly wasn't trick involved the inspector getting to his feet in the clearing steam. The disappearance of his spilt essence upon the floor might have been, if he'd been bleeding invisible ink. Which he apparently had not.

Carefully stalking over the mess of expended and forgotten cartridges winking up at him from the ground, he produced a roll of canvassed bandages from his pocket. He proceeded to bind the slight exposure around his neck while heading in no particular direction. Forensics would pick up what was left in the apartment. As for the inspector, patrol had started a few minutes ago.
