AIM/STORY-GPD


The ongoing tale of how we learned to kil...er..capture the criminals which made the whole world feel better.

CRIME, Crime never changes. The end of the world came about pretty much as we predicted. Too many mafias, not enough officers to bust 'em all up. In the beginning all citizens were optomistic, though soon enough everything got out of hand. Even the grand Gaia Police Department, civilization's last hope against the underside of society fell to the wayside. Entire divisions shut their doors, bested by the Mafia Scourge. The GPD retreated to a sanctuary, slowly dieing from lack of new blood, most of the contact with the outside world lost, the mafias causing billions in death and destruction.

Now the GPD has resurfaced, realizing they have a great force to oppose in a harsh land. The GPD rises again, enlisting the aide of allies and sharing their technology, leaving some secrets buried, never to return. The GPD's new purpose: to track down, find, and annihilate the mafias whever they may be found, to cleanse this land of all the vile corruption. To wipe out the Mafia presense.

AIM/STORY-Genesis


There comes a time in the course of human evolution where the need for power becomes absolute. Individuals take it upon themselves to gain a certain strength of mind, body, and capital that sets them up as rules and shining examples of strength. This power can boost the ego of an individual and twist good intentions. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. When a hero becomes a tyrrant, someone must step forward and topple their regime. When no one exists to police the police, someone must step in and shatter their power base and dispell the corruption. When a single being takes time and space and bends it to his will, someone must step forth and right their wrongs. Someone must step forth and guard the existence we have come to know and love.

We take that step every day.

History of the Brothers and the Aegis


Torment is found standing in a bed of flowers let grow on their own, weeds mixed in among them and choking the very life from their roots. A few hundred feet ahead of him is where a house should have been. A shift of a few feet, thats where the driveway was. Thats the tree his tire swing had been in. That burning wreck on the new freeway is where his room used to be. He let out a sigh as he lowered the rifle, cursing to himself. He always missed and hit the wrong car. Not like the police cared, they had bigger fish to fry. Terrorists and mass murderers trying to make a name for themselves. Some random dude with a grenade launcher taking pot shots at cars wasn't anything to worry about. Maybe they'd send a rookie.

3 Days later, and what'dya know, they actually sent a rookie. Torment didn't even give him the time of day till he tried to arrest him, but he couldn't bring himself to perforate the fool. It was those eyes, he'd seen those eyes, or rather, he knew those eyes. Nah, nothing as cliche as one of the rapists, maybe even more cliche than that. Chick gets raped, has a kid, kid joins the police to rage against the world of crime, kid meets his brother. This oh so tender moment would have been much better if not for one of those big fish the police had to worry about rampaging through the neighborhood. There was only the exploding of a building and a firestorm the size of Manhattan, nothing a slick kid like him dragging a rookie couldn't get away from.

...and then the world exploded.

OK, so it didn't really explode, but when gods start slinging around big orbs of s**t no more than half a mile away, that tends to ******** with reality. Gamma radiation for Bruce Banner, anyone? Magical conflicts need magical radiation, its just more fun that way, the 'big fish' like to watch people convulse and die simply in the radiation of their fun. Though, not everyone just shrivels up and dies from the radiation, some have a spark. This can be compared to the chosen few, the planeswalker spark, whatever you feel like comparing it to. Most who find their spark actually embrace it, and some become 'big fish.' Torment isn't a big fish, likely never will be, but his so-called brother, well, he never really got the chance to see if he had a spark.

Shar died. That same magical battle that raged on between the 'big fish' broke his body when the building came down and he didn't look too good after the firestorm. Hell, neither of them did, but Torment lived, and the intense magical aura caressed that spark, nurtured it, and consumed Shar`Addan. Torment's soul reached out and grabbed the soul of Shar`Addan, the sheer desire to keep him around to know who the b*****d was. This started the process of expanding just what he could do with his soul, maybe even use it to kill a 'big fish' or two.

Worlds collide, planes tear open, the multiverse splits at the seams. The foundry burns bright, an inferno welling up in the soul of Torment even as the weapons and devices lining the walls call out to his very core. He had touched them all, and in turn gifted them with something a touch beyond perfection in form. Training gave way to forging and forging gave way to manufacturing. Shar was better reacting with customers, barely able to keep them from seeing the crazed man that stoked the fires of his soul with madness.

The Inner Circle spread through the multiverse, manufacturing weapons and drugs to pass along to the various forces in the multiverse. Eternal war opens but a new venue, the eventual strategic positions capable of showing weaknesses in every single component of a war. What does a war profiteer do once all his enemies have torn themselves to pieces? Profit, of course. All that territory and the body parts are certainly useful for something. The mere call of war had brought the Aegis of Torment division of the Inner Circle, and here he would remain.



Summary of Attack Policy

This Triumverate of Guilds is open to attack if, and only if certain requirements have been met.
  • The ones to attack have at least some sense and do not munch during the attack.
  • There is at least one member or regular of the Subguild you wish to attack who is ONLINE AND ACTIVE.
  • There is no overwhelming use of technology, meaning any Gundams, space fleets, or like devices/units. Such technology is banned in this thread. This applies to BS magic which includes, but is not limited to planar maipulation, omnipotence, and reality bending. This does not apply when attacking Genesis to a certain extent.
  • Prisoners cannot and will not be acknowledged as regulars or members.
  • The Five minute regulation of the FFA does not apply here, being replaced by one similar, but dictating half an hour (30 minutes) in length. In this instance one is requested to also include a note of hostile intent OOC.
  • If you are inactive in your attack for 24 hours, I'm nixxing it. If you need more time two extensions per attack will be given for extenuating circumstances if given before the person leaves for the extended period.

GPD Rules

Description


The GPD lies at the heart of Barton. Several older, run down apartments have been purchased and demolished, leaving a large tract of land open for the GPD to build and operate on. The building itself is rather inviting at first glance, but beneath the surface of the mere two story building lies a tough defense against assault.

The main building faces a major street, pulled back away a few dozen yards for a small parklike area with grass and a few trees. Behind the main building is a parking structure built to manage even the largest GPD sanctioned vehicles, such as SWAT vans and the like, with a road running alongside the building for acces from the front. Only GPD Officers and other like officials are able to park in the parking garage without clearance.

The building itself has a single set of doors at the front of the building, accessed by a small flight of stairs leading up to the doors. Inside these doors is a small room known as the Buzz-in Room. Small, as mentioned here, means a corridor just large enough to fit the scanning equipment to come. Two men can lay side by side in the buzz-in room with mild discomfort. The walls have been reinforced to guard against bomb blasts as well as fire and the doors leading to reception are locked magnetically and mechanically. The door, which opens inwards to reception holds a high resistance window. The receptionist will buzz in people when needed, ALTHOUGH, officers need not go through the process, a highly sensitive Retinal Scanner and voice print ID system in conjunction with special ID chips in the officer's badge can bypass this system.

Metal Detectors, surveilance camera, Aura detection, bio readout, and MagRes systems were installed in the buzz-in room when repairs were completed. Arcane Eyes with True Sight will be introduced into all security cameras to alert of illusions and see through them, giving the illusion a faint blue transparent look. A small shield has been placed over the retinal and ID scanner to keep it intact in case of assault which can be opened using the ID badge chip.

The reception room has three other doors and an elevator, which leads to the second floor. On the right after walking in from the Buzz-in Room is the elevator to the second floor and door to the stairway. On the far wall, behind the receptionist, is a larger doorway with glass sliding doors that leads to the offices, with two doors on the far end of that room leading to the Commissioner's Office, the security room, and a medical area with a hot nurse. Tac's office is lined with shelves with various artifacts and...mementos from battles he has been in. In the back wall a photograph has been enlarged and framed, as linked below. On the left wall is a door that leads to a small recreational room for officers or citizen waiting for an appointment to relax. The room is stocked with the usual refreshments and has a small TV. Other items can be brought in by officers, which the GPD cannot be held liable for.

The second floor holds the Guncage, which doubles as the Evidence Locker, a few small rooms in case an officer needs a place to stay for the night, and the Locker rooms. The rooms appear mostly like hotel rooms, and remain locked at all times unless an officer gains authorization to use one. The Guncage holds all GPD sanctioned weaponry and gear, not to mention any evidence, with only the 'Cage Rat holding authorization to enter the Guncage. Wire mesh seperates the Guncage from the other half of the room it is in, with a slot for exchanging gear and evidence. The Locker rooms are seperated into the male and female portion, with all the required and expected ammenities therein, including showers, lockers, facilities, sinks, and a single changing room in each section.

The basement holds the Cell Block and interrogation areas. The cells themselves have all the ammenities expected of a cell, a bed, sink, and toilet, nothing more. The bars are forged from a titanium alloy with a slot at the bottom where 3 times daily an (NPC) officer makes the rounds to feed any held prisoners. The doors are locked both magnetically and mechanically, opened by an electronic keypad with secondary authorization from another officer at the master control for all the cells. No cells can be opened from either the cell itself or the master control alone, an officer must be at each pad.

The roof holds a helipad with the only access being the stairway, which automatically locks when closed and requires a similar access procedure as required for officers to bypass the Buzz-in System.

In the area between the GPD and the Parking Garage a small facility has been built underground, a bunker, nothing more. Within this bunker are systems designed to track seismic waves, with an included SONAR system adapted for use with seismic waves, callibrated for the area, radar and other detection systems salvaged from mechanical and technologically advanced posessions of officers from past incarnations of the GPD. These scanning systems include a metallic ressonance system to detect uncommon metals or metals in uncommon amounts nearby, a common IR tracking system, and a basic radar.

Summary

  • Street, park area, then the building. Behind the building is a scanning center. Behind that is the parking garage.
  • Small room as buzz-in room. Door opens inwards to reception, which is an area seperated from the offices by a sliding glass door.
  • To the right are elevators and stairs, to the left is a rec room.
  • Rec room has TV, refreshments, etc.
  • Offices are open area with desks that have standard chairs and computers.
  • Tac's office is in the back on the left.
  • Security room in the back in the middle.
  • Medical area in the back to the right.
  • Second floor gas the guncage, locker rooms, and rooms for homeless officers. These are locked when not occupiued by an officer.
  • Roof has one access point, similar to the front door buzz-in.
  • Roof has a helipad

Defenses

The outer walls themselves seem normal from the inside and out, but hold a 6 inch thick layer of titanium all the way around the building. On the outside of the GPD, just below the ornamental succo is a layer of Ferro-Ceramic Armor. Antimagic Runes are in between layers of armor.

All the hallways are under constant surveilance. The cameras are placed to watch outside the GPD as well. The only areas not watched are the stalls of the men's and women's bathrooms. However, the GPD's cameras are HEAVILY centered around the entrances and exits. The garage is highly watched, as well as the front door. Arcane Eyes with True Sight will be introduced into all security cameras to alert of illusions and see through them, giving the illusion a faint blue transparent look.

The ventilation system is composed of ducts that are only about as big as one's fist, making sure most people won't be passing through it to bust their buddy out of jail. These have had new filters added to weed out toxins and airborne infections, even sand. The filtration passes through a magical filter as well.

Anti-Teleportation Runes and Computer Monitoring System.

ATRaCMS. Basically, you cannot teleport into the GPD. Any attempts to Magically Teleport in will result in your being sent out of the GPD. Any attempts to Scientifically Teleport into the GPD will result in the Computer quickly sending your information back to it's sender. (Note, I see 'appears from the shadows' or 'appears in a swirl of flames' or anything like that to be teleporting.)

Lockdown System

Due to being attacked, the GPD will either respond to being attacked by enemy gunfire or missile fire by itself, or any officer Lieutenant and above may engage Lockdown. They may disengage it by calling up the GPD's answering machine and entering in a certain ten digit code. After the code is entered, they must pass through a voice verification system and the system will check if it is really you or a recording. Once proven, then the system will disengage lockdown, but you must be above a certain rank.

There are four levels of lockdown (0 Level neing Normal, and 4 being like a fortress):
Level 0 - Normal
Level 1 - Extra titanium armor extend over the windows, doors, and the outer walls.
Level 2 - Along with Level 1, Vanadium Steel armor is placed on the inner facing side of the titanium walls. Then several (3 on each side except the front, where there are 4) pop-up turrets "pop-up" all around the GPD.
Level 3 - The GPD sinks into the ground. A layer of Ferro-Ceramic armor covers the very top of the GPD, along with a five-foot layer of Lead. This "Hole" is basically the GPD underground, where everyone inside cannot get out, and those outside will have a very difficult time getting in.
Level 4 - This is when there is almost a Military Assault on the GPD taking place. When this happens, the GPD will not only do everything the other 3 levels have said, but it will release Drone Mechs. these are basically AI Mechs that will attack the attackers. They are armed with ER Medium Laser (2), Machine Gun (2), and Flamethrower (1). They are very resemlbing of the Mad Cat design except they have no arms, and the gunns are attached directly to the Mech's torso (Replacing the missile racks which would have made is appear exactly like a Mad Cat without arms). The GPD will send out a distress signal to any other governmental guilds.

The turrets mentioned fire different rounds depending on lockdown level. As levels change a different set of turrets changes by a shuffling system underground.
Level 2: 7.62mm armor piercing rounds.
Level 3: .50 Calibre depleted uranium rounds.
Level 4: Explosive and Anti-tank missiles, interchangably.

At any level, including first and zero, the turrets can pop up, but instead of being the normal type, they can interchangably be set up as basic SAM sites if incoming aircraft cannot or will not be identified.

Lockdown System Subset: Antimagic Runes

Ingranined into the armor around the GPD are runes that cancel out all supernatural effects. This includes, but is not limited to, perception altering, reality bending, magic, chakra, ki, chi, psionics, omnipotence, and anything else I can't do as a person IRL. These are only activated by Tacitus Nusradai or a high ranking officer, and not directly linked to the lockdown sequence.

The security room inside the GPD itself is manned by three guards. The ATRaCMS is kept here, integrated into a wall and armored due to its sensitive nature. Security feeds line one of the walls allowing the guards to watch many locations in the GPD at one time.

Computer System

The GPD has a massive, complex computer system. There are parts of it networked out for the general puplic, but a good portion, still, is encrypted for GPD use, only. The GPD servers only store networked information, so it is impossible to hack non-networked information from an outside source. The information available to the public includes employment oppurtinities, where to apply, location of non-critical buildings (reception and medical), and a description of ranks.

There is no available blueprint for the GPD available on the network. Therefore, it is impossible to hack, from an outside source, the exact layout and defenses of the GPD premisis. There is a map of the park surrounding the compound, but that's about all you'll be able to get in terms of maps. Every bit of encrypted information is backed-up in non-networked systems. The Wanted List is partially available to the public. There is an intranet chatboard for GPD officers to discuss who (individual or organization) should be added, next. The intranet system is networked out for GPD officers to input while on patrol.

That is the server. That is the networked portion of the GPD. If one were to access the site, they would see a good deal of useful information on avoiding getting into trouble with known crimminals and mafias. They are also given contact information to the commissioners and reception. The server appears to have a Linux base to it, but looks can be decieving. The firewall and hack-prevention system seem unique, too. It looks like a real-life technician can operate to fight an invader. It also helps that the GPD has an ultra-fast CPU and connection.

This networked information, however, leaves much to the imagination. What is the GPD premisis like? Where is the rest of the large cache of information the GPD must have? Where are intelligence documents? What type of activities is the GPD up to? What properties does the GPD own? This is all stored on non-networked systems -- not accessible to outside sources!

Information kept soley through GPD-only accessible systems include mission reports and personel profiles. Full details on certain crimminals can only be found on GPD hardframe computers. The computer systems, themselves, seem to have that same Linux-based design so that any attempt to destroy one part won't destroy the entire thing. However, the design is not Linux, and this would become obvious to anybody able to view the sourcecode, which is highly unlikely to happen.

The full base layout is accessible from only three places! These are the hard-drives in the commissioner's offices. The blueprints are highly encrypted and hidden behind barrier after barrier. The controls for base defenses can be located in the office of any high-ranking member and the Central Computer Core. The CCC is located under the main building, and, if you thought the defenses outside were tough, you'll be in for the fight for your life here. The CCC is operated by no less than five computer technicians at any given time behind heavy blast doors that are both technologically and magically sheilded.


Definitions

CPU: Central Processing Unit. This is the processing core to any computer. It holds no permenant information. In real life, the maximum processing speed of any computer is around 3GHz.

Super-Fast: 2x - 4x the speed of the maximum available to the public through retailers.

Ultra-Fast: 6x - 10x the speed of the maximum available to the public through retailers. 10x is the fastest processor available.

Writing Speeds: (not exact)
Diskette maxes at 1.5x or 1.4mps. (estimation based on my last usage)
CD maxes at 32x or 200mps.
DVD maxes at 16x or 20,000mps.
DVD Dual Layer maxes at 4x or 5,000mps.

Encryption: The act of hiding data in plain sight. The data is hidden in pictures or numbers that must be decifered before it can be viewed.

Hack: In this case, the act of stealing data through a either the Internet or an internal Intranet.

Internet: A large, virtual space available to the public for storage or gathering of information, even ideas. Data is stored on servers that are networked to the general public.

Intranet: A small, by comparison, virtual space available only to those within the correct computer network. The data is only available through the Intranet. It is not being transmitted or stored on Internet servers.

The Ranklist/Memberlist is not available on our networked servers! The Commissioners' images and contact information is the only, available information available. This means that outsiders cannot have access to our Ranklist! We have a thread for it, but that's no something that somebody can access from an outside source.

Level A Terrorists!



Alive: 10,000
Dead: 7,500

LATs are to be considered highly dangerous and as walking weapons. They are not to be approached alone. They are also considered to have a "walking" warrant as to allow any officer to attempt a capture. Let it be warned again! Do not! approach a LAT alone! A point of note here is that the LAT has the highest (75%) dead-to-alive ratio of any other terrorist classification.

Viper

In one sense, one could characterize this LAT as a ticking-time bomb. He'll go off at anything at any given moment. His behavioral profile puts him as a bipolar, but both ends are to be considered destructive to all whom approach. Collected data is to be added below.

He excels at heat and fire based attacks, even drawing powers into point for his favorite of attacks. He is known for his tenacity when it comes to utter destruction, and he would love nothing better than to kill for the simple pleasure.

Nemesis Talavarious

((OoC: His Gaian account name is Bane Incarnation. You are not to call him by this name! We only know certain aliases.))

Nemesis Talavarious can appear as several different individuals. He has three known forms and a dragon named Tala Gigas. His arsenal and powers change with each form, so he to be considered dangerous as multiple individuals. He draws upon mana mists as his primary source of power...beyond his sheer pleasure derived from torture.

Nemesis Talavarious: No form of mana, energy, or explosive type of attack seems effective against him. He most oft wears a royal-blue colored robe with vary dangerous bladed-gloves. He excels in hand combat, staying as close to his prey as possible.

The Bane: No form of physical attack seems effective against him. He oft wears a royal-blue colored robe and no patch of skin can be seen. He has poison-laced claws which appear to be the only corporeal part about him -- not that it matters. He floats about on mists and excels with mana and energy.

Rufus Rex Vulpesvulpes: With a balance of power, his agility seems to be his key aspect. He is dressed in black, biker-gear; though, he never covers his fox ears or tail with any kind of helmet (ears) or leather "leggings" (tail). He excels in countering an opponents moves or using their strengths against them. He oft plays mind games for torture's sake.


Gaara

The only known alias of this person is Sabaku no Gaara, or 'Gaara of the Sandfall'. A short kid and only fifteen years of age, one will immediately find that he is not to be taken lightly. Last seen appearance placed the boy as having crimson hair, as if it were stained with blood, and green eyes as pale and dead looking as his skin. His eyes are ringed with deep, dark circles, leading one to believe that he suffers from insomnia or related sleep disorders. He can be recognized by his lack of eyebrows and the tattoo on the left side of his forehead in what seems to be red ink, the tattoo being the Kanji character for 'Love'. Another unmistakable characteristic is the massive gourd he carries on his back, which harbors nothing other than sand mixed with the blood of his enemies and enhanced by his own chakra, the only weapon he uses. Gaara is capable of conjuring and manipulating the sand to his will with his unique chakra and presumably uses the material due to its seemingly infinite malleability plus variety of uses, especially when altered chemically.

Well-known by most Shinobi around the world, Gaara is mentioned in the Bingo Book of many, but this is not the Gaara you think you know. Making this mistake could easily cost one his or her life. Books mention that Gaara has lost the demon possessing him and settled down in the Village Hidden in Sand of Wind Country to become Village Champion, but with this Gaara's maturity, he seems to have retained his mercilessness and vents his lust for blood by killing for bounties himself. Whether this is the same person or one from an alternate megaversal timeline is yet unknown, but the crimson color of his sands and the accompanying stench of blood leads one to believe that the Skukaku is still within him or he was somehow repossessed with it.

Gaara is a walking nuke. Not only can he control the crimson sand in his gourd, but he can also use the sand within the earth to rape the environment and change terrain to his bidding. He seems capable of doing anything with his energy-laced sands, causing it to leek from the walls during his visit to the GPD and then proceeding to turn the place upside-down. Few things have been known to break through his absolute defense, for the sand seems to respond and protect him even against his own will, and he often has not even to lift a finger to move it. Commissioner Tacitus Nusradai's anti-magic disabled the chakra used to control the sand and thus made it unusable by Gaara, and it has been noted in past accounts with the boy that if one is fast enough, his defense may be able to be broken. Rumors have made mention of accounts in which the demon inside the boy was released, turning him into a giant monster capable of leveling territory on the notice of a moment, if allowed to change. Whether any of this bears truth or not is still unconfirmed.

Gaara hates everyone but himself and is emotionless aside from that, filling the gap with the unrelenting goal of killing those who cross him to verify his own existence. His personality is extremely unstable and encounters are sure to result in death on the part of at least one party. As with other Level A Terrorists, he should never be approached alone and with only extreme caution on all counts.


Level B Terrorists



Alive: 9,000
Dead: 5,000

LBTs are more approachable. They also do not have "walking" warrant. If one is spotted, it is best to radio it in to head-quarters and hope a high enough ranking officer is there to issue a "seizure" warrant or "temporary" warrant so that you may make your capture with perfectly legal standing.


Joker

When Gaia was still young, one of the firsts threats to the GPD was Joker. He was originally just a humeous villain causing damage and denouncing the GPD due to it's enforcing order on chaos. Joker loves chaos. Since then, he has died many times, but due to his family's black magic, he will not stay dead for long. Because of this, the best way to stop Joker is to imprison him.
Unlike many terrorists, Joker is reluctant to use magic. Instead, he resorts to complex puzzles and trials, such as a building rigged with traps on each level for the swat team to overcome, or a moral dilemma he puts the arresting officer through. His threat is great, but not because of his own strength, but because of his social networking skills. He once put bounties on Tacitus' and Bolt's heads, causing would-be bounty hunters to come claim the prize.
Joker has threatened all of Gaia with biological weapons, and took part in the Siege of D-Platoon. He finds killing and death entertaining and is known for his skills in Dark Elven runic magic and chemical explosives. After a long hibernation, he has recently resurfaced to cause trouble for all of Gaia. If Joker is seen, shoot to subdue, not to kill.

Ushida

Ushida Fujima, nicknamed Ushi by those who knew him. His mind is ever changing, switching from having been your best friend for years, when some notion could stagnate in his mind and turn him on everything. Ushida has absolutely no respect for anything. Ushida has been given the status of LBT due to his once large Mobil suit armies, which he often took pride in releasing into the city destroying all in sight. In early years Viper and Ushida were rivals and got into spats that often resulted in high collateral damage costs throughout Gaia. After his last mech assault Ushida went underground and went completely off the radar. He returns to Gaia every now and then from the forbidden zone known as Falgaia. Ushida is known to be a master of the wind and has recently acquired an odd form of demonic regeneration along with other demonic traits that have not yet been identified.

Ushida is considered non-existant to the GPD through a mutual nixxing of all interaction.
Scott

Due to lack of other major terrorist players, Scott -- long since inactive in true roll -- has been elevated to LBT standing...just for the sake of it. He is characterized as a tyrannical leader of an island nation that would like nothing more than to talk over the world...in a purely Ghengis Khan sort-of-way. He is ruthless and has pushed medical science further ahead though attempted biological sabotage.



Level C Terrorists



Alive: 8,000
Dead: 4,000

Other than the fact that they love to create terror and mayhem, these little rascals aren't much of a threat beyond having more destructive tenancies than their criminal counterparts. You may feel free to approach as long as you have a warrant handy.

Level A Criminal



Alive: 7,500
Dead: 0

LAC are just as dangerous as LAT! They are also considered walking weapons. However, there are no "walking" warrants on them. You have to go through the paces as with any other criminal.


Kargin Nusradai

Kargin's alias is quite common among both the criminal underground and law system -- Torment. Torment has disappeared off the GPD radar. While a few of his creations are still tracked through Gaia and beyond, his whereabouts are completely unknown.
More recently Torment has resurfaced, arrousing suspiscion of ties to Vincent Colbini. Recently tracked activities show him roaming the Barton area and contacting several of the lesser, unknown gangs about a strange man. Cause of confrontation with Rufus Rex Vulpesvulpes as yet unknown.

Vincent Colbini

Considered to be less dangerous than most, though highly wanted, is Vincent Colbini. Colbini is an Ex-GPD officer, being one of the oldest, and most seasoned officers before his dishonorable discharge. He is now wanted for attemped murder of a police officer, assualt with a deadly weapon. And two counts of murder of a police officer. Suspected ties to Level A Criminal Torment/Kargin Nusradai.

Level B Criminal



Alive: 6,000
Dead: 0

LBC are actually quite dangerous. They hold a great deal of power through either themselves or underlings. There are many occasions in which LBC hold power through both. They are oft refereed to as mob-bosses or kingpins.


R-Do

A well-known mob-boss, R-Do does his utmost to avoid the law. He does not need rely on allies to do his dirty work as he can do that well enough on his own. He has since given up his mafia boss status and has not been seen for some time,


Jimen

Jimen's most recent antics include attacks on both the D-Platoon and A-Branch. He is also well known for carrying out hits and other such illegal activities.

Strengths

Defense: Viper is extremely resilient to most types of damage, his entire body is the armor for his being. Due to its nature he is immune to lasting piercing and slashing damage, such a wound will quickly be healed or regrown. With his magical and supernatural abilities in addition to the perfect physical vessel that is his body Viper is a nearly indestructible juggernaut. Additionally the clothing he wears is also of scientific origins created with supernatural skill and precision for added protection.

Offense; Ranged: With magical and supernatural abilities focused solely on death and destruction Viper can lay waste to almost everything he sets his eyes on. Fortunately, through the efforts of Tacitus, Bolt, and many other valiant forces of good the majority of Viper's power has been sealed away from his use. As things stand anyone encountering Viper needs to be watchful of focused beam and ball type attacks. The majority of Viper's current powers include the precise control of power.

Offense; Melee: Unlike the majority of his ranged abilities Viper's melee capacity has not been diminished in the least. Insanely fast and strong with training in a multitude of martial arts and special forces tactics Viper is more skilled by far at close combat than at ranged.

Weaponry; The Snake's Tongue: A blade of what appears to be red glass the Tongue is anything but. About an inch and a half wide and no more than 2 cm wide with an almost infinitely variable length. The Tongue can move, extend, retract, and strike completely independant from Viper's will, or in perfect harmony with it. Besides the ability to move and change it shape the Tongue is incredibly strong and sharp, but has no other special abilities.

Jormungandr: A massive wave blade flamberge with a red bound hilt, snake's head pommel in what looks like gold with rubies for eyes, and a simple gold looking crossguard. The blade looks to be thousand fold blue steel with the image of a massive viper entwining a phoenix, sinking its fangs into the phoenix's neck while the flames consume them both. The weapon is actually a single piece of an unknown but incredibly dense metallic alloy. It is assumed that Jormungandr has a myriad of supernatural abilities, but none of them have been used in combat to date.

Speed: Viper is naturally fast enough to step-dodge a bullet, but with his magical abilities he can increase this speed to almost inconceivable levels. Any sort of exponential speed increase is usually accompanied by a temperature drop as Viper absorbs the latent heat enery in the air.

Awareness: Viper's subconsious mind picks up all the minute clues fed to him by all five senses. He can predict the actions of an opponent simply by watching their movements and physical responses as well as pick up on a myriad of other things that are processed without needing his conscious awareness.

It must be noted that with his magic amplifying his natural abilities Viper's weaknesses diminish greatly.

Without his magic Viper would becomes more vulnerable to water and cold based weaponry or attacks, with his magic he will unconsciously emit enough heat to eliminate this weakness entirely.

As stating above Viper is immune to lasting damage from piercing and slashing weaponry, which makes bledgeoning damage the only rational alternative. (Gunfire, with very few exceptions, is considered piercing damage.) Anything big and heavy hitting him with a shitload of force is likely to do noticable damage.

If no one around is a master in melee combat adept enough to take him down and/or you have no close combat mecha explosives are your best bet. Artillery fire would hurt like a b***h, as would any sort of non-shoulder mounted rocket barrage or bombing run. Mecha, large monsters, etc. anything that can put a serious asswhooping on without the need for extreme skill in martial arts works as well.

Beating Viper senseless is your best plan of attack. While individually ever part of Viper's body is insanely strong, as a whole they represent his being manifest. Think of hitting the whole thing instead of just wailing away on the non-vital parts.

Viper is literally a one man army with his powers, and only slightly less so without. His defensive and offensive capabilities are almost unmatched, and his speed and cognitive awareness are nothing short of remarkable. He can and will walk through a weak opponent like a knife through butter. Often he will let an opponent have a sort of "free shot" to see just how futile fighting against him is. Above all else Viper enjoys toying with an opponent and derives pleasure from wholesale destruction. If things get worse, the kid gloves will come off.

Winning Strategy

1. Take away Viper's magic and/or supernatural abilities. With them he is nearly impossible to defeat. Without them he becomes a bit more manageable. It also makes it so he won't just blow the living crap out of anything that moves.

2. Restrict his movement; if he can move freely it is doubtful anything you throw at him will have any chance of making meaningful contact.

3. Don't let up; if you give him a moment reprieve he will have answers that he did not have a moment before. He will slip your traps and decimate your ranks.

4. Don't hold back; if you think what you have ready to smash him with is enough, get more. If it comes down to him being trapped in one spot for long enough for you to order an airstrike, order two and your artillery to boot. You can never be too careful.

5. Above all else do not underestimate Viper; he's not considered a LAT for petty trifles.

Any weaponry that is fire or heat based not only won't work, but will probably make him stronger. This is true even without his magic.

Water in and of itself will not work, as it would turn to steam under enough heat.

Nuclear weapons will not work, the energy output by a nuclear weapon is too similar to the destructive energy the makes up Viper's being.

He has no vitals or joints in the human sense of the words, attacking his knees, shoulders, heart, brain, throat, etc. specifically is a good way to learn a lesson in futility.

Blowing him apart, cutting him to pieces, or tearing him apart is not a good idea. The basis of Viper's body is total individual strength, it WILL put itself back together. Again, beating it senseless is the way to go.

As an officer, you are to Serve, Protect, and Defend the people of Gaia. Whether if it be from other citizens, or if it be from unforeseen circumstances. The GPD stands as the Goodguys in a world of Evil. We will fight and be strong against the forces of Evil who wish to do harm to the people of Gaia.

In order to protect the people of Gaia, there should be some sort of level of Force an Officer can
use. (i.e. If a man steals from someone, you don't put a bullet through his head.. make his return the item and pay a fine instead.) THIS IS NOT A CONVENTIONAL POLICE FORCE. Gaia has no written laws, so therefore we cannot enforce anything. We are NOT an Enforcing agency, we are here to Serve, Protect, and Defend the people of Gaia. Even to the cost of our own life for thiers.

An officer is to judge the ammount of force to be given at any time. If too much, or excessive, force is given, an Officer may be Warned the first time, but after that a superior officer will give what they judge to be an appropriate Suspension time.

"RP" - means "Role Play" It's when you pretend you are your avatar (The little person you see when you log on).

"OOC" - means "Out Of Character" It means "This is me, not my avatar, talking" So OOC things can comment or comtain elements that aren't OOC, but the are mostly in the real world.

"IC" - means "In Character" It's the avatar talking. This isn't used quite as much as OOC is.

"Newb" - means a user that is new to Gaia or RPing, not a derogatory term.

"N00b" - means a user that may or may not be new to Gaia or RPing, but seems to refuse to want to, or simply can't improve their RP ability. Commonly munches. The term n00b is HIGHLY derogatory.

"Ne0" - Abbreviated form of Neo-n00b, also a derogatory term. Indicates a user that may or may not be new to Gaia or RPing whom seems to be able to RP through use of good grammar, but their posts are frought with munching.

"Munching" - this is complicated. It means you are doing something that is god-like and impossible to really do. Either that or it is something un-ethical in the unwritten code of RP. i. e. Controlling another person's actions, Saying that you did something without actually RPing that you did it. etc. See AMP Summary below.

Rules for RPing in the GPD:

Don't be an Idiot.
-Don't come into our home thread and claim you can destroy us all. It's foolish and rude. If you place a bomb, how did you get in?

Be Realistic.
-You can't set an atomic bomb down by the door, set it for a minute, and walk away. Rolls together with the Don't be an Idiot clause.

-Always indicate which format of speech you are using. For example if you're speaking in Out of Character, indicate it somehow. Most times OOC is indicated with brackets such as (()) or [] or even a quote box.

-All actions must be indicated somewhere. If you're going to the GPD, you'll need to say your walking to it or something.

-Try not to overly quote. If you're going to quote, quote a small section of their dialogue... not the entire history of the converation itself.

Have Fun.
-RPing is for fun for you and others. If you come in to try and be funny but are just showing your ignorance, we will probably ignore you.

PATROLLING: This applies to officers only.
When patrolling, groups of two or possibly even three are prefered.

To patrol, go to any Three RPing areas (threads) in the site. (Mainly in the O/M Guilds Forum please) Read the last few pages(3-5 usually) for any suspicious or problematic activity.

Do not engage the occupants of the thread if there is a problem, but post in IC that your character has been in that area. Contact the GPD about the problem in IC. We will deal with things systematically from there. Though you can if its obvious you can handle it and there won't be a shitload of complaining.

If the GPD is unavailable (meaning you're the only one online) try to use best judgement, and if you can tell there will be a big problem, back down.

If it is unlikely an officer would be in the area, or if the area is clearly out of GPD juristiction, simply don't visit the thread.

While in a thread that is not GPD sanctioned, follow all rules of that thread.

Providing Commissioner GPD with links of your patrolling via PM can contribute to favorable views on performance evaluations, possibly even leading to promotions. (Void if there was no activity in the thread at the time.)

Description-Gaia


Genesis is located just off the shores of Gambino in a facility constructed with modular construction concepts. The outer shell is decorated with a stucco exterior to look pleasing to the eye. Around the building is a sandy beech with a large parking lot in front of it. A two lane road connects to the mainland with a more stable and wider tunnel set at another angle across the ocean. This can be opened to the sky for large objects and leads to a subterrainean complex where supplies and vehicles are stored. A blast door seals this path off, disguised to appear part of the landscape.

The building itself has a single set of doors at the front of the building, accessed by a small flight of stairs leading up to the doors. Inside these doors is a small room known as the Buzz-in Room. Small, as mentioned here, means a corridor just large enough to fit the scanning equipment to come. Two men can lay side by side in the buzz-in room with mild discomfort. The walls have been reinforced to guard against bomb blasts as well as fire and the doors leading to reception are locked magnetically and mechanically. The door, which opens inwards to reception holds a high resistance window. The receptionist will buzz in people when needed, Although, officers need not go through the process, a highly sensitive Retinal Scanner and voice print ID system in conjunction with special ID chips in the officer's badge can bypass this system. A system has been implimented that allows transferal of objects between the buzz-in room and reception.

Metal Detectors, a surveilance camera, Aura detection, bio readout, MagRes systems and a temporal signature analysis matrix are in place. A temporal signature cannot be blocked or hidden or changed and can give a recent history of the subject, these are logged for future reference. Arcane Eyes with True Sight have been introduced into all security cameras to alert of illusions and see through them, giving the illusion a faint blue transparent look. A small shield has been placed over the retinal and ID scanner to keep it intact in case of assault which can be opened using the ID badge chip.

The reception room has three other doors and an elevator, which leads to the second floor. On the right after walking in from the Buzz-in Room is the elevator to the second floor and door to the stairway. On the far wall, behind the receptionist, is a larger doorway with glass sliding doors that leads to the offices, with two doors on the far end of that room leading to the Commissioner's Office, the security room, and a medical area with a hot nurse. On the left wall is a door that leads to a small recreational room for officers or citizen waiting for an appointment to relax. The room is stocked with the usual refreshments and has a small TV. Other items can be brought in by officers, which Genesis cannot be held liable for.

The second floor holds the Temporal Annex, which doubles as the Evidence Locker, a few small rooms in case an officer needs a place to stay for the night, and the Locker rooms. The rooms appear mostly like hotel rooms, and remain locked at all times unless an officer gains authorization to use one. The Temporal Annex holds all GPD sanctioned weaponry and gear, not to mention any evidence, with only the Requisition Officer holding authorization to enter the Annex. Temporal Transparasteel seperates the Annex from the other half of the room it is in, with a slot for exchanging gear and evidence. This transparasteel can be used as a computer terminal or a workstation to do last minute checks on the temporal coordinates they will be visiting. The Locker rooms are seperated into the male and female portion, with all the required and expected ammenities therein, including showers, lockers, facilities, sinks, and a single changing room in each section.

The basement holds the Cell Block and interrogation areas. The cells themselves are little more than alcoves to maintain Temporal Stasis. These alcoves are sealed by temporal steel blast doors and are locked both magnetically and mechanically, opened by an electronic keypad with secondary authorization from another officer at the master control for all the cells. No cells can be opened from either the cell itself or the master control alone, an officer must be at each pad. These alcoves do not run off any power system, simply frozen in time. While in stasis no time passes for the individual and thus they do not need nourishment.

The roof holds a helipad with the only access being the stairway, which automatically locks when closed and requires a similar access procedure as required for officers to bypass the Buzz-in System.

The Gaian Outpost is powered by a reactor containing three Omega Molecules. Each one can power a city for years.

Description-Genesis


Genesis exists outside the realm of both time and space. In this void the laws of physics begin to break down because there is no space and there is no time. Genesis was forged of fragments of timelines, the end of all things meeting the beginning again to forge a cycle and build a fortress of eternity where technological supremacy was absolute. The facility is powered by Omega Molecules, one of which can power a city for years. These are held in a constant state of harmony with shielding around them that is largely stopped in time to halt interference.

The building appears as a sphere outside of time and space with access points located across each timeline in every plane of existence. The main one currently is in the Genesis outpost in the 302242-C Timeline on the plane of Gaia off the shores of a city known as Gambino. The sphere is constructed of temporal steel and covered with V5 Shock Armor connected to the Omega Molecule Power Core to imbue it with high resistance to attacks as well as rapid regeneration of damaged areas, with access points at regular intervals around the sphere. On either side of each access point are ports of some sort.

There are a series of spheres passing inwards, a total of nine spheres, with the outer shell being the ninth. Inside each sphere there is a space where gravity seems to be rather subjective, drawn out with down being drawn towards the sphere. A path leads down to each sphere by the form of ladder and hatch.

Ninth Sphere
This sphere houses the defense mechanisms. Automated systems of both technology in the highest degree and of magic provide the first line of defense. Lookouts and patrols exist here.
Eighth Sphere
This is the main access point for all incoming travellers. Reception resides here with all portals apparently converging around a single room. The laws of space cease and allow for this apparent disruption of space. All hatches up and down meet here from the above and below spheres, but only one at a time. All others are locked and unavailable to be opened without fail.
Seventh Sphere
This is the barracks. All NPCs reside here when not on duty. This level contains areas for food, lodging, and recreation.
Sixth Sphere
This is the training halls. This sphere seems much larger than normal. What is programmed from the Fifth Sphere to be in this room comes to pass. No effects extend from this level out of it.
Fifth Sphere
This is control and operations for the Training Room that composes the entire Sixth Sphere. This is a small sphere with only two rooms. One contains all the equipment and the other is like a hallway with the door to the equipment sealed to all non-authorized personel.
Fourth Sphere
This sphere is an obervation sphere, much like the Sixth Sphere. Here timelines can be scanned and temporal incursions can be tracked in any frame-speed. This allows for historical observation as if already in the timeline, but it is merely a projection, no interaction can be accomplished. This has the most up to date scanning equipment and can even analyze thought patterns and hidden traits.
Third Sphere
This sphere is the quarters for all Agents when resting in Genesis. They may live here and fashion their quarters however they like. Recreational facilities are more elaborate and complex than those for the common officer. Subjects can be extracted from a timeline and brought to this sphere temporarily, leaving the subject with no knowledge of the visit, at best a dream.
Second Sphere
This is the tactical sphere. It is heavily armored in comparison to the other spheres and contains the War Room. The armory is located here and this is where Agents ar eLaunched for missions. A briefing room is located in this Sphere as well as a box of doughnuts that seems neverending.
First Sphere
This is the bowels of Genesis. The reactors and defense mechanisms are located here. There is only one access point and only Commissioner Nusradai has access. The Omega Molecules are kept here and the entire Sphere seems to be frozen in time save for a few key lines and access points. These points are generally null zones that cancel out all supernatural effects.

Defenses-Gaia


The outer walls themselves seem normal from the inside and out, but hold a 6 inch thick layer of temporal steel all the way around the building. On the outside of Genesis, just below the ornamental succo is a layer of Ferro-Ceramic Armor, and underneath that is two inches of V5 Shock Armor connected to the Omega Molecule Reactor, flooding the armor with more than enough energy to make the metal extremely resistant and imbue it with a fast rate of regeneration. Antimagic Runes are in between layers of armor.

All the hallways are under constant surveilance. The cameras are placed to watch outside Genesis as well. The only areas not watched are the stalls of the men's and women's bathrooms. However, Genesis's cameras are HEAVILY centered around the entrances and exits. Arcane Eyes with True Sight have been introduced into all security cameras to alert of illusions and see through them, giving the illusion a faint blue transparent look.

The ventilation system is composed of ducts that are only about as big as one's fist, making sure most people won't be passing through it to bust their buddy out of jail. These have had new filters added to weed out toxins and airborne infections, even sand. The filtration passes through a magical filter as well to get out what a mundane filter may not. This does nothing against magical abilities such as becoming mist.

The facility tracks all temporal signatures within a one mile radius. These can be brought up in a 3D representation within the Officer's area to give a total view of the entire area. This is usually in place. This scanner is much more accurate and can give readings on the types of auras present, the ability theme of individuals, and even what metals they are carrying. This scan cannot be blocked by mundane means as it is slightly out of phase with the timeline. This also detects all teleportation abilities and freezes them and reversing the stream through time. All attempts at becoming an element, 'ghosting,' and using shadows are similarly frozen and reversed. Altering one's location in space-time will also have this effect. Officers may request permission to have this effect exclude them.

Lockdown System


Ingrained into the armor around Genesis are runes that cancel out all supernatural effects. This includes, but is not limited to, perception altering, reality bending, magic, chakra, ki, chi, psionics, omnipotence, and anything else I can't do as a person IRL. These are only activated by Tacitus Nusradai or a high ranking officer, and not directly linked to the lockdown sequence. This system can also freeze Genesis in time. While frozen, no actions can be taken within five hundred feet of the building, including those inside. Those frozen cannot be harmed in any way. This cannot pick and choose.

The security room inside the Genesis itself is manned by three guards. The Temporal scanning equipment is kept here, integrated into a wall and armored due to its sensitive nature. Security feeds line one of the walls allowing the guards to watch many locations in Genesis at one time.

Computer System

Genesis has a massive, complex, computer system. There are parts of it networked out for the general puplic, but a good portion, still, is encrypted for Genesis use, only. Genesis servers only store networked information, so it is impossible to hack non-networked information from an outside source. The information available to the public includes employment oppurtinities, where to apply, and a description of ranks.

There is no available blueprint for Genesis available on the network. Therefore, it is impossible to hack, from an outside source, the exact layout and defenses of the Genesis premisis. There is a map of the island surrounding the compound, but that's about all you'll be able to get in terms of maps. Every bit of encrypted information is backed-up in non-networked systems. The list of Realital Terrorists is partially available to the public. There is an intranet chatboard for Genesis Agents to discuss who (individual or organization) should be added, next. The intranet system is networked out for Genesis Agents to input while on patrol.

That is the server. That is the networked portion of Genesis. If one were to access the site, they would see a good deal of useful information on avoiding getting into trouble with known crimminals and mafias. They are also given contact information to the commissioners and reception. The server appears to have a Linux base to it, but looks can be decieving. The firewall and hack-prevention system seem unique, too. It looks like a real-life technician can operate to fight an invader. It also helps that Genesis has an ultra-fast CPU and connection that operates off time dialation and can freeze any and all incoming information to filter how it likes.

This networked information, however, leaves much to the imagination. What is the Genesis premisis like? Where is the rest of the large cache of information Genesis must have? Where are intelligence documents? What type of activities is Genesis up to? This is all stored on non-networked systems -- not accessible to outside sources!

Information kept soley through Genesis-only accessible systems include mission reports and personel profiles. Full details on certain crimminals can only be found on Genesis hardframe computers. The computer systems, themselves, seem to have that same Linux-based design so that any attempt to destroy one part won't destroy the entire thing. However, the design is not Linux, and this would become obvious to anybody able to view the sourcecode, which is highly unlikely to happen.

The full base layout is accessible from only one place! This is the hard-drive in the Temporal Annex. The blueprints are highly encrypted and hidden behind barrier after barrier.

Defenses-Genesis


Simply put, Genesis is a nigh impenetrable fortress. It is not impossible to gain entry, but hard. Entering by any other means by a sanctioned gate is difficult, seeing as it is outside both Time and Space.

Gates are location in shacks around Gaia. Find them. Activate them. Enter reception. Thats not hard, but requires a Buzz-in process similar to the Gaian Genesis. We detect an unauthorized gate, we try to shut it down.

For any coming towards the Sphere outside the Ninth Sphere, each of the ports on eaither side of each entry point are launch tubes for Temporal Torpedoes. These weapons are phased just off the timeline, and thus shields do nothing against them. Most armors buckle under their force, pre-explosion. Only temporal steel has been known to halt it.

When under attack from the outside a shield is errected that is in two parts. The inner layer is an energy shield that can withstand energy blasts that can wipe out a planet. The outer layer is a temporal distortion field where time simply stops. No matter can pass through this field and any attempts to null it are in turn frozen in time.

Any forms of teleporting in by means other than the gate is detected at a time faster than it can occur, about .5 seconds beforehand. These effects are halted and frozen to be reversed and turned back by an automated system. This extends to teleporting, plane shifting, misting, psionic transmission, shadow walking, and elemental travel.

Ertai Vexic is a tyrrant of wide reknown. Many know him and fear him, but so many more hate him. This paradox is confusing and also, oddly, puts him up for an invitation to Genesis. His use of psion-planar abilies is known and documented as severe, approach with caution. The Tools of the Trade


Temporal Steel-This material is normal steel that has an added effect of having been tempered with temporal techniques. It is indestructable, but in an odd way. Nothing can so much as scratch Temporal Steel, and thus it has to be forged in the state it will be used, making it costly if produced mechanically. What striking temporal steel does, however, is shorten its lifespan. Continued blasts will eventually cause Temporal Steel to crumble to dust.

Temporal Nanopistols-These weapons regenerate ammo at a phenominal rate, permanently affected by a time dialation effect. This allows instant configuration to any ammo type and eliminates the need for a reload. Most ammo types can be created, including grenade rounds. Sidearms are standard issue.

Temporal Nanorifles-These weapons regenerate ammo at a phenominal rate, permanently affected by a time dialation effect. This allows instant configuration to any ammo type and eliminates the need for a reload. Most ammo types can be created, including grenade rounds. These weapons are required to be requisitioned and checked back in when a mission is completed. They place a temporal phase upon their ammunition to pass through energy barriers.

Temporal Observatory-This small handheld device allows those not in Genesis to scan the timeline. It acts as a detection system, communication device, alert for any psion-planar ability users nearby, alert for any temporal incursions, and track specific temporal signatures. It also plays games. ^_^

Temporal Handcuffs-Yes, we even have temporal handcuffs. These are made of Temporal Steel and thus disallow breaking. They comfortably but snuggly fit around the wrists with an extension available for the ankles. While ordinary looking, they nullify any supernatural abilities a subject may have.

V5 Shock Armor-Short for "Version 5 Shock Armor", this is a complex mechanically engineered alloy of various metals with veins of fortified Energen Crystal running through it. Unremarkable on its own, it is nonetheless a valuable alloy with a variety of uses stemming from a variety of wonderful properties it exhibits when a power source is connected to it. When supplied with sufficient energy, it will become resistant to attacks and damage of all sorts, and will regenerate itself over time to return to the state it was in when power was first applied to it, "healing" any holes or weakened areas as easily as a biological creature might. Additionally, it can also convert energy into electrical current to damage anything in contact with it or (as more commonly used) with its out-facing side; out of the three major functions of V5 Shock Armor, this is the easiest to "toggle" on and off on large installations due to the relatively simple map of input points needed, though the often prohibitive energy needs keep it from being on for a very long time on these large installations. The extent of these properties is determined by the amount of energy run through it, the amount of energy available to consume, and the areas in which energy is applied to the armor.

Definitions


Phasing-This means that something is out of touch with reality. This includes incoporeal beings. Like incoporeal beings, if one is temporally phased certain effects are meaningless. Energy barries mean nothing to phased projectiles while certain types of magic do not affect temporally phased individuals, and beyond. Only the Commissioner seems to be phased.

Dialation-This is the alteration of the flow of time in a localized area. One can either speed/slow a subject or speed/slow the environment. This can even extent to the point of stopping time.

Realital Terrorism-Altering the timeline or distorting existence to better one's self or to cause the downfall of another. Any tampering with time or space, especially to create terror, fear, hatred, tyrrany, and destruction.

Mild rolling hills stretch out on the western side of the island, tucked inside but just out of the way to ensure all out war is not common two feet to the left. Tall grasses run across the hills and bury the imperfections in endless fields of gold and silver. Set within the heart of the endless plains a rest house has been errected along a single route through the tall grass. The first floor is spacious with ample room for freebies to lay out a bedroll and sleep as close to the hearth as desired. To the back leads the kitchens and restrooms as well as a locked stairway and a swinging door that opens outside. The upper floor has a long hallway that leads to two large rooms at the end that are mirror images of the other, one accented in blue while the other is accented in red. Along the hallway three doors on each side are set for private quarters for Sleepers, those who take part in the activities of the Aegis and have scheduled and extended stay.

Out back the swinging door leads to The Forge. This area is suggested that people keep clear from, but because it opens to the fields it can't be helped. The Forge itself looks as if it were a normal smithy, complete with anvil, but oddly lacking an actual forge, furnace, and bellows. Various articles of masterfully crafted weaponry literally cling to the walls, unwilling to leave their place. Out beyond The Forge is likely the only defence for the mere rest house, the nearby grasses fortified with a metallic sheen and set as blades to resist attack. The Razor Fields.
The Process


Torment manufactures weapons, armor, single and limited multiple use consumables (healing items, summoning tokens, spell-like effect triggers, etc) and basically whatever you may need. He might even be able to set his Hammer to your flesh and work out the kinks. His services are not free, however. Basic items and single use consumables are for IC funds only while more unique stuff and personal modifications might require a small gold donation as well. The bigger the more bitchin. What can I say? Gold gets me motivated.

All items will have a full description with stats presented OOC upon completion. Payment due (IC and maybe OOC) at time of completion.
