Rhenn wrenched his hand away from the bandage as if stung.
"Die? Christ, some gift you've got there. How many poor sods did you bandage up before you figured this little bit of information out?" He didn't question the strangeness of her ability; some worked like that. Half blessing, half curse. He once had a friend whose 'gift' gave him the power to make anything explode a few seconds after he touched it. Rhenn still visited him sometimes; he was now residing in Illumina Cemetery.
Getting over his initial shock, Rhenn took her hand, hauling himself up with a wince. "Apparently I can," he remarked, smiling back. He noted how her smile made her seem that much more attractive.
Promising lass, this one, he mused.
Maybe I'm just biased; she did save my life. Stretching his arms and gritting his teeth against the pain that resulted, he scanned the surrounding rooftops for the one he'd left his things on. Adjusting his vision, he was able to find it quickly. Turning back to the woman, he stretched out a hand.
"I suppose I'd better properly introduce myself. Name's Rhenn. Who might you be?"
